I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my experience. This was honestly one of the most unprofessional and stressful rental situations I've ever dealt with. I arrived expecting a smooth pickup, only to find the car left outside with no key. No instructions, no proper handoff--just a car sitting there that I couldn't even use. It completely disrupted my plans and ruined the start of my trip. What made things worse was the so-called "customer support." Calling in did absolutely nothing. I was passed around, given unclear answers, and it felt like no one actually knew what they were doing or saying. Instead of resolving the issue, I was told to go all the way to the airport to switch cars--something that should have never been my responsibility in the first place. I ended up wasting hours of my time both on the phone and in person, going back and forth in 100-degree weather, trying to fix a mistake that wasn't mine. The lack of accountability and organization is unbelievable. The phone service is completely unreliable, and the in-person experience wasn't any better. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication and professionalism, but instead it turned into a stressful, time-wasting ordeal. I expected much better service, especially from a company of this size. I was in a multi car collision on the I-17 yesterday and my poor car is in the impound lot as we speak. There is always congestion on the I-17S where it splits off to the 101 and yesterday, traffic came to a complete halt at the split and I was completely stopped when I was unexpectedly rear ended and that vehicle also struck the vehicle in front of me and there was a fourth vehicle rammed into the one that hit me. It was all kind of scary really. And since I don't have a vehicle now, my insurance was able to quickly get me a rental and sent me over to this Enterpise which is open on Sundays. I came in here at 9:10am and was helped quickly despite a few other people in front of me. Chris was at the counter and checked me in immediately and everything went smoothly. Another gentleman, Andrew, then walked me around to several vehicles and I was able to choose a rental similar to my own. Andrew checked me out quickly, and who knew that Enterprise also has internships and he was an ASU student about to graduate. Everyone here was amazing and I was out of the lot by 9:40pm! I was impressed with their immaculate service and thanks to my insurance and Enterpise for getting me on my way as quickly as I can despite the accident yesterday. read more

Had a reservation all set on Enterprise website to pick up our car at noon Saturday for a relaxing road trip. Arrived just a little before that time to pick up our car and entered a lobby full of people both sitting and standing waiting for something, one lone employee behind the counter maybe wishing he called in sick too busy to even look up, say hi or even explain if I should take a number, all 15 of us waiting work out who came in first and who would get served first, or what the procedure was in a situation like this, nothing. Waiting a while in the throng starting to feel generally more and more invisible, had to leave and make other plans because clearly this was not going to resolve easily before that location's 2 pm scheduled closing time. I miss the days where Enterprise would personally deliver the car to one's location, obviously, looking at current staffing levels that will never come back. So sad, I wanted to give my money to this company especially after all the horror stories about their main competitor using AI to randomly charge customers for non existent damage to returned vehicles weeks after the fact. Clearly there is a need that the newer car rental apps like Turo, Sixt and now apparently even Uber rentals are striving to meet. read more

I keep coming back despite all of the negative things I've experienced with the rental cars, because I know the service from the people who work there are consistent, and they care. Now, with great quality of service comes high turnover, because good people get scouted and move on to better opportunities, which is why I gave the 4 stars for the people, not for the cars. Two trips ago, I got a really bad car and I gave the staff a very long list. Not only I didn't get judged, I was compensated for what I believed was fair. This most recent experience in December, James provided one of the best car pickup experiences I have had in a while. He said he was transferred from the airport, which makes total sense because he is efficient, and this location is probably lower stress for him. Shout out. However, the drop off experience was not so good. I followed the rule to drive my car into the return zone, and walked inside the store to wait for assistance. I chose this Enterprise for my rental due to the very close location to the repair shop. Jessie was the person I worked with and she was awesome. She's probably the nicest agent I've rented from. I appreciated her thoroughness in going over all the details of the rental and in explaining all the different options for rentals. She made sure the car I got would be a comfortable ride for me. My Enterprise Company Leased truck was in the shop for over 14 weeks and this branch did an outstanding job finding me a comparable truck to drive while mine was being repaired. This is the most ghetto location I have ever rented from. The manager TREVOR is fake, he acts like he cares but doesn't follow through with his word, neither does his supposed boss who was supposed to call me but never did. During this whole experience I was very nice and understanding. 3 weeks later AFTER my final walk through and closed out return, I get a claim from my insurance company for false accusations. Good thing I had photos and a signed contract for prior damage. I still have had zero compassion or compensation for my requests. There is a lack of transparency, in accuracy and questionable business practices. I rented a vehicle for a week, but due to heart attack the rental car sat in my garage the entire week I was approximately 3 1/2 miles from the rental car company, picking it up and returning directly home. The rental car was brought back on a Friday and there should've been a total of 7 miles on the vehicle that we actually used the car was rented with half a tank of gas upon returning the rental vehicle, I am suddenly charged almost $50 for gas Being advised that the car went out on full. The mileage now showed 31 miles so I am wondering who put the additional miles on. Possibly one of the employees going to lunch? It would be virtually impossible for me to have driven out a half a tank of gas Even with their inaccurate 31 miles. I did apprise them of the the situation and I have to say it was promptly refunded the difference. But I questioned the business ethics of this office, I question the accuracy of the initial rental agent, and I'm wondering if other people are overcharged a tad but just don't realize it I've always used enterprise as a professional being a claims specialist at a major carrier for 25 years and never encountered this type of thing with this company, but due to the very bad experience, I will be using the rest of the rental car companies that are available on the market and not consider this company at all for any future needs read more

This past weekend I was in a bind with trying to locate a large SUV for my kids and I. When I arrived to this rental location Ms. Jessie Allen was awesome. She showed me a expedition but I pointed out I wasn't a fan of that vehicle. She was very nice and said we dont have another but let me see if the one that was just returned doesn't need anything like maintenance. Tried to reserve a Nissan Rogue SUV all wheel drive 2 months in advance because I was going up to Flagstaff and didn't want to get stuck in a snow storm. 2 hours before I go pick the SUV up the manager calls me to let me know they don't have a Nissan Rogue and they can put me in a car. I told the manager I need an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, he said he will see what he can do and will call me back. I call back an hour later and he tells me he can put me in a Hyundai Tucson. I asked him if it was AWD or 4WD and he says no. I explain again I need an AWD or 4WD. He said he might be getting a jeep wrangler and again will call me back. An hour later I show up to my scheduled pick up (with no call back) and the manager says he can put me in a car because they don't have a Nissan Rouge. I asked him what about the Jeep that you said you were going to call me back about. He said Oh Yeah and told me to wait because they are cleaning it up. 35 min later I get a bright pink jeep . I just find it crazy that you are unable to reserve a certain SUV 2 months in advance and also wait until last minute to let me know. If I wasn't able to get an AWD or 4WD SUV I would have canceled my trip with my girlfriend. I was just so upset with the entire experience. I gave 2 stars because Aaron, the guy who actually gave me the keys to the jeep, was so polite and helpful. You could tell the manager didn't really care and kept pretending to to be nice. Driving a bright pink Jeep was not ideal but I didn't get stuck in the snow. Good thing I wasn't in a time crunch. I will definitely book with another car rental company next time. read more

We picked up a vehicle 8/19/22. $117.00 per day for a vehicle that has transmission and suspension issues and also roaches crawling around as you drive. Disgusting! ! Spoke to the Manager (Mataya B 8201 S. Priest Dr , Tempe AZ ,at this location for resolution. Moving on to corporate because this is a unacceptable resolution to offer $20 off for a vehicle that could not be used for the purpose in which it was needed. Staff went above and beyond to try and resolve the issue with cleaning our vehicle correctly. I waited about an hour and when I received the car I was still not satisfied. Previous renter of the vehicle appeared to have lived in the car (with a pet and 2 kids) so plenty of toys, goldfish, Similac stains on the door (yes, Similac milk as we found the bottles). I do appreciate them taking the vehicle back and one of the assistant managers jumping in to assist and clean. During my time waiting, i listen and watch the staff interact with all the people coming in and they were genuinely concerned to make things easy and right for people.
