Had a few options a Jetta (2026) or a convertible Mustang. The Mustang (2026) wasn't quite ready as would have had to wait, which I didn't really have the time nor was it spacious enough for the amount of things I'd be traveling with. Due to that, it was quite small for my needs. In moving forward with the Jetta, I was only asked one time if I wanted insurance (I declined). When I went to pick up the car, the agent (Daniel) walked around the car with me for the drive-away inspection. I do recommend taking pictures of any (any!!) dings, scratches, imperfections etc. even with the agent tending to mark them on the contract be vigilant. Supposedly, Enterprise doesn't charge for small dings, etc., but I still wanted photographic proof, with him in the shot, and recognizing my observations and ensuring that everything was taken into account. Returning the car was quick and easy and should receive my deposit back within 2 business days! The Jetta got great gas mileage & would recommend this location for your travel needs.

I told them I had to have a car since I would be making a trip to the airport right after and wouldn't' be able to wait an hour or more like previous experiences. The guy told me he would hold a car for me, and he did! As well, he took great care of making sure everything was ok with the car. When I returned the car, the gentleman who checked it out for me, Larry, was so kind, efficient and quick. But she could feel my frustrations called me hostile because my nails tapped (after I waited for over a hour and a half) I had not given my attitude but said I just wanted to leave. She puts me in an old Toyota Corolla (my place told her to put me in a large sedan) so that's her reaction. Plus when I pointed out lots of scratches on the car she said "it's probably been documented" okay as a GM maybe just do it again and let us know. Jennifer is the one I had this experience with and I hope to not ever have it with. As a service employee this was one that will kill the store I did go back to the place that sent me there right after picking up the car and let them know. They said they had some people complain about Jennifer to them but me coming in right after (2 hours at this point) and letting them know told them they can no longer send people there. Located on Baseline between Arizona Avenue and Mesa Drive, East of the railroad tracks, on the North side of the street. We only have one vehicle and have never used Uber, Lyft, or Waymo, so it is sometimes an adventure getting there to pick up a vehicle. Totally worth it though. Regardless of who has helped me over the years, the staff at this location is always super friendly and they get all of the details correct every time. This time I rode a Bird scooter over and dealt with Michael. Great guy and very personable. Easy two-week rental. In and out. Chevy Trax to temporarily replace our Ford Escape for the fair. Drove great, decent mileage, and saved our trip to Yuma. Will recommend this location to anyone.

I reserved a car on Monday to pick up after work & after I dropped my car off. I was able to pick up my rental car pretty quickly. The reason for only 4 stars is due to the return. I turned the rental car in on Thursday after work. It took a long time to return it. They were busy, but I really wanted to get in & out in a timely manner because I still had to go across town to pick my car up. My car isn't fixed yet, so I will need to most likely rent a car two more times until my car is fixed. Hopefully pick up & drop off go quicker the next two times. It wasn't so slow that I won't continue to go back. The staff our helpful & friendly.

On June 5, 2023 I made a reservation thru Priceline for a Hertz car rental (dealer's choice) for the Scottsdale, AZ location. Upon arriving at the Scottsdale location I was informed that no cars were presently available and I was directed to the Gilbert, AZ location as it seemed they had cars to rent. I arrived at the Gilbert, AZ location at approximately 10 am. Between that time and approximately noon I waited in line as there was but one female employee and she was tasked with servicing five or six renters in front of me. Though my original reservation reflected a weekly rate of ~$170 I was informed that she could not honor the rate and the best she could offer was ~$200 per week. Having spent the better part of two hours sitting on my hands I elected to accept the higher rate. As I was leaving I asked her if I should bring the vehicle back to her location or the Scottsdale location. She replied "any local location in the greater Phoenix area would be fine". Today, Friday June 8, 2023 I returned the vehicle. In light of the unpleasant wait times I encountered previously I elected to return to the Apache Road, Mesa AZ location - approximately five or ten minutes drive from both the Scottsdale and Gilbert Hertz outlets. Within the past hour I received an email receipt (attached) cataloging two day charges that were within $10 of the initial weekly rate I'd been quoted by Hertz / Priceline, but a line item charge of ~$200 for (Inter city fee). Here, I would invite any casual reader of this letter to place themselves in my position - processing mentally the various irritations I encountered. What might your viewpoint of Hertz thusly be? Please be further informed that it is not my intention to merely swallow the outrageous $200 nonsense-tax (inter city fee) that Hertz is attempting to extract from me. Instead, I shall take any and all steps within my legal rights to fight back. These include but shall not be limited to filing grievances with: Ripoff Report Better Business Bureau Arizona State Attorneys General Office Yelp Local TV and print Media I do understand that Hertz invests significant capital in advertising - presumably intended to generate a positive consumer impression of the company. My vehicle was stolen and I needed transportation and they had one ready to go the following morning . I had to get a rental and insurance would only pay 40 dollars a day which Hertz came in at 38 dollars. Perfect . It's a 2019 with only 20,000 miles on it and I love it. Still haven't replaced my car so in the meantime, it's not so bad with this as my temp. I appreciate the staff and I've now had to extend it four times and I haven't heard a word about them needing it back yet . The staff are very accommodating and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone.

In the middle of everything I was dealing with a rental car extension issue that was causing me enormous stress on top of an already heartbreaking situation. Keenan O'Rourke and Jeremy Strebel went completely above and beyond for me. They were compassionate, patient, and kind and they moved mountains to resolve my situation quickly so I could get back to my father's side where I needed to be. They did not just do their jobs. They showed genuine human kindness to a daughter who was running on empty and fighting for her dad. In a world where customer service can feel transactional and cold these two young men reminded me that there are still people out there who truly care. They treated me like a person not a transaction and I will never forget that. Keenan and Jeremy you have no idea what your kindness meant to me today. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Late review... First…read moretime Silvercar user in Phoenix. This has got to be the easiest and quickest I've gotten a rental. From Sky Harbor, a quick shuttle ride to the Silvercar lot. Someone comes out and greets you, gets you set up. Pull up the app, scan the bar code and off you go. May have taken 10 minutes tops from the shuttle to on the road in an A4. Best experience I've had at a rental agency. All paperwork completed on the app beforehand saves so much time. Definitely not the last time I'll be using Silvercar, either in Phoenix or other cities with availability.

We decided to ask the Silvercar concierge if they had availability for a Q5 at that time. The reply was very prompt and they had a Q5 at that time. We headed to the Blue Sky Shuttle from terminal 4 which takes you to the Silvercar parking location. We had to scan the code on the Audi and it unlocked by itself. No lines, no counters! The staff were all very nice and courteous, they helped us with our luggage and off we went! The car was a clean and new Q5 with all the bells and whistles. It is an excellent car to take for road trips. The return was again no hassle and great. All in all it was a great experience costing less than what we would've paid for a fully loaded luxury car at another company. If I come to Phoenix again or another city that has Silvercar, I'll definitely use them!

Had to pay for the repair there, because towing it back to Mesa would be too expensive. Upon notifying the dealership to see what could be done about it. All I got was I'm sorry we would have been chaeper on the repair. Not taking any financial responsibility at all. I didn't expect the total repair to be paid & even stated so. But taking some ownership of what you sale would have been nice. The lack of professionalism & not standing behind what they sale is a total red flag. STAY AWAY. Bad place to buy a car.
