I cannot say enough about the exceptional service I received at Enterprise Mesa West on Broadway Road during one of the most difficult times of my life. I am currently in Mesa Arizona advocating for my critically ill father who was just diagnosed with cancer and is hospitalized. In the middle of everything I was dealing with a rental car extension issue that was causing me enormous stress on top of an already heartbreaking situation. Keenan O'Rourke and Jeremy Strebel went completely above and beyond for me. They were compassionate, patient, and kind and they moved mountains to resolve my situation quickly so I could get back to my father's side where I needed to be. They did not just do their jobs. They showed genuine human kindness to a daughter who was running on empty and fighting for her dad. In a world where customer service can feel transactional and cold these two young men reminded me that there are still people out there who truly care. They treated me like a person not a transaction and I will never forget that. Keenan and Jeremy you have no idea what your kindness meant to me today. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Feeling upset about my recent rental experience. I was in an accident and my insurance recommended I rent a car from here upon their expense. I ended up having to pay a down deposit (which I expected) but was told if the vehicle was returned in good condition and the tank was full I'd get my deposit back. I must warn you, it's a scam. The blonde girl with pink eyelashes helped me but did not provide any information regarding my deposit or provided any further help regarding my returned rental. I've called four times total regarding my deposit, and not one single employee explained anything to me. After spending over $200 in daily insurance fees I only ended up getting back $20 out of my $100. Not until today did someone finally take the time to explain they took money FROM my deposit to pay for the rest of the duration on my rental. ( Which my insurance took care of originally) No one told me they'd end up taking my deposit in the end to PAY for the vehicle. I would have rather just returned the vehicle on an earlier day to refrain from paying more. They lack customer care and provide no information. I had to call four times for someone to finally tell me they took my money. Rent somewhere else, they lie here. read more

We have had great service every time, and we havent had any issues with any vehicles! We recently rented a car for a week and needed to extend for a couple days. Disabled people do not use this location! If I could give this location negative stars I would. Upon further research I have discovered that Enterprise has supposedly has policies in place for disabled people after they had a major ADA violations case about 11 years ago. My disabilities have left me unable to drive anymore and in need of a surrogate driver for almost 8 years. I had an issue with this location last year where I was denied my right to put down the deposit unknowingly for my surrogate driver. This denied me my right to fair access. We were forced to have me transfer funds to my partner the driver who was listed on insurance policy as driver and insurance was okay with it last year. Because of the experience last June this past Wednesday I wanted to avoid issues and called corporate with my insurance company and explained I was asking for a reasonable accommodation and that she was on the policy and insurance wanted to have both our names on the reservation so I could be the financially responsible one for the deposit. Corporate put notes in our reservation. As this location was closest for our needs. I made the reservation with this location. Eagan called me right before I was going to call to confirm the notes and everything. He was super polite and helpful on the phone and said he saw the notes from corporate and we should have no issues tomorrow. Thursday, my shop called enterprise but this location which we had reservations with did not pick us up. Instead we were picked up by another location and when I realized it during the drive I told the driver we needed to go to the Broadway location as we had made our reservation and arrangements with them. He ignored my request and said that any location could help me. At the wrong location the manager was insisting on trying to help me but I had to keep telling him I wanted to go to the other location I had reservations with for him to understand that I wanted to do business with the location I had spoken to the day before. He called Broadway and they eventually sent a driver our way. When we came in we were greeted in a rude tone as if we were an inconvenience. Tyler said he saw the notes from corporate and when he was asking for id's I gave him mine first as I am on the reservation as well as my partner. And I told him I wanted to be the one financially responsible. He immediately refused me service stating that it had to be a card in the drivers name. I am very obviously disabled with visible and invisible disabilities. I told him I am disabled and cannot drive and I am asking for reasonable accommodations and I had cleared this with corporate the day prior. The way he spoke to me I have never experience anyone talking down and being so demeaning to me. He rudely said they had already made a reasonable accomodation by picking us up and letting my partner be the driver. He threw me into a panic attack as I was crying and explaining I had madr all the proper calls in advance and I had not only cleared it with corporate but had verified with his location the day prior. If you ask me Eagan should have been manager instead of Tyler and we would have not had this issue for the 2nd time within a year at this location. ​A female staff member saw how I was being treated and how upset I was and kindly offered me some water. Tyler kept saying there was nothing he could do without even bothering to contact corporate. I was so upset he told me I needed to figure it out and tell him what I wanted him to do and I told him I needed to call my insurance agent and he had me so upset I could not even use my phone properly to get to her info and he kept harassing me asking me what I wanted him to do. And I told him I need to talk to my insurance agent first and she helped me call corporate together and the guy on corporate said that isbwas obvious Tyler was not going to help us and that we should go to a different location. My insurance agent spoke with another location so we decided we wanted to go there. We told him we needed the location that was on Southern and he said on Baseline and we said no Southern and he said there was not a location on Southern there was one that was on Baseline and Southern and he could take us there. I told him my insurance agent said it was on Southern and I need to call her back to verify the address. Turns out he lied to us and indeed there is a location on Southern in Mesa and it is the Superstition Springs location. I told him we had the address while he was on the phone and after he got off the phone he told Julie she was gonna take us to the Southern location. We gave her the address & we were on our way after being in this location for approximately an hour and a half. She was a safe driver and was just nice to be around. I booked with a different Enterprise last minute. They called to confirm but advised me that they wouldn't have any cars. They mentioned to call around and see if any other stores had availability. Enter the location on 1215 W Broadway. Tyler answered the phone and was very polite & energetic. After a brief hold, i wasn't even done providing my phone number before Tyler said "come on by, we'll take care of you". After arriving the car was available almost immediately. rented a truck last friday as they didn't have any full size suvs, was told they would have full size suv on Monday so I called back and they still didn't have one. they called on tuesday and offered me a mini van or a Highlander. advised I have 4 special needs kids and have to have a full size suv and was told that they offered me the highlander or a mini van but they should have more in on Tuesday when they are back in the office. unfortunately, I have a vehicle that I can't take my family in and they dont seem to care. The truck they have me in is very nice and clean, if It was rated for a 4th car seat it would be great. Just a crappy situation, drive illegally or have someone at home all the time. read more

I rented a car via phone reservation. Showed up to get my car (had reservation when showed up was told my car was there) then going through the process some green shirt walks out and starts saying those cars are already rented out. (Again already had the confirmation and confirmed car was there when arrived) he the proceeded to tell me I would have to wait for them to figure out getting another car there because some one was coming in later to rent that car. The interaction seamed very Mickey Mouse. I am now sitting here with no car. Then called corporate back to tell them what happened was told I would hear back from an area manager. It's been 2 hours and I haven't heard anything. Online it shows my reservation has been cancelled. I am again now stranded and never want to use Enterprise again. read more

Regrettably, it appears that the business model that Enterprise uses doesn't involve having the vehicles that customers have reserved ready and available when the customer arrives. This is not the first time, or first Enterprise location, where we had to wait an extended period of time to pick up a vehicle that we had reserved well in advance. In addition to extended wait times, we've also been stuck with vehicles other than what we reserved and that did not meet our needs. These experiences are starting to sour this Gold Tier member on the company. read more

Never has it been so difficult to rent a car. I've used enterprise for several years in different states with little to no problems. Made my reservation online no issues. I called to confirm everything because I was planning on paying with a debit card. I was informed the address on my debit card needed to match the address on my driver's license. My driver's license had my previous address, so I went to the dmv and updated it the day before. I was informed of an extra deposit as well which wasn't an issue. I brought multiple pieces of mail with me to confirm my address. When i arrived it apparently can only be certain types of mail. They said car insurance, pay stub, or internet bill. I pulled up my car insurance on the app and it was confirmed but they needed more proof I guess. I showed them the internet bill and because I had a balance on it they said I couldn't use it. I showed a phone bill and even though I could prove I have paid it, it didn't matter because the last statement showed I hadn't paid it. I offered to show my life insurance policy with my address or even mail I had from the state for assistance im on. And they said no we can't rent to you at this time. I even said I could make a payment on the Internet bill but they just go off the previous bill. So clearly i could prove my address in multiple ways but they're really looking to see if your bills are paid in full. I'm a single mom of 3 so yeah I fall behind sometimes. Thankfully Hertz allowed me to rent with a debit card just had to pay a higher deposit and they ran a credit check. But yeah be aware that If you're using a debit card they will look for ways to not approve the rental. They literally turned away the 2 people who were in front of me for different reasons. You would think you were trying to finance a car with how difficult it was. I also decided to check the debit card policy and it doesn't say anything about having multiple forms of address with a $0 balance. read more

Horrible service and incompetent to boot! Had to have my car in the shop for 7 weeks(give or take). In the first vehicle, the oil light came on almost immediately, plus the inside of the vehicle still had trash, so it obviously wasn't cleaned thoroughly. They wanted me to bring in on my time to do oil change instead of changing out the vehicle. When I hit 6 weeks, I had to switch out cars, which also had trash inside, and the windshield got broken. I have 100% coverage thru insurance, but because they replaced it before insurance saw it, and they never filed a claim, they want me to pay $875 for their mistake! read more

I was at this Enterprise location yesterday. The wait for a car was a little over 2 hours. The staff, which consisted of the branch manager, Laurenne, a detailer named Ed, and one other young man floating between jobs, did an AMAZING job working through the queue of people in desperate need of cars. They were patient, friendly, and working as fast as they could to bring cars in, clean and fuel them before giving keys to the grateful customers. I.was in a car accident and Enterprize was where my insurance sent me. The representative that I dealt with asked if I wanted to pay for the rental all at once or week by week. I asked for week by weer because I wanted to split the payments between 2 pay periods so that I wouldn't have to pay all of it at once. I renewed the rental week by week thinking that was how I was being billed. My car was totalled and the insurance gave me 1 week to find another car. When I returned the car they said that I wasn't getting my refund . I was really mad. I rented from the location on Gilbert rd and Houston in Gilbert, Az. They didn't bill me week by week like I asked they billed me all at once. read more

Kind of beat up looking, but planted right in the middle of a few local dealerships, its easy to spot from the road. Going in, the place looks a bit tired and older. My girlfriends car was smashed into by some knucklehead - so her insurance company set her up with enterprise. We came into enterprise earlier today and the "manager" told us that paper licenses are not accepted - and my girlfriend would have to wait until she received her license in the mail (which would be another 5-7 business days). A few hours later we found out at the airport enterprise (it stays open later) that she could in fact use an "alternate ID" along with her paper drivers license copy. Wow. I can't believe Enterprise lets this place operate under its name. They should condemn this place or drop it from their franchise to save face. My wife's got into a car accident and had to rely on this rental place for several days while hers was in the shop. We opted for the "economy" car, which has never been an issue in the past. Well, now I am afraid to ever rent an economy car ever again. This car (Nissan Mirage) would barely drive on the highway, so I recommended my wife to stick to side streets in case it broke down. The engine sounded like it was about to fall out at any moment and the car could barely make highway speeds. It was simply awful. The check-out/check-in process seemed to be more complicated than it had to be and took about 15-20 minutes even though it was all arranged ahead of time. This place was also unfairly priced compared to other rental companies we have gone through in the past, but we did not have many options available to us at the time. This location is also not in the best of neighborhoods, so also be careful if you do not go here during the day. read more

Horrible customer service. Got picked up from the body shop and had to wait in the lobby for over 90 minutes even though the rental had been booked weeks before. They gave us a vehicle without the options we needed telling us the android auto would work when plugged in with a USB cord. It didn't. Called them and were told they would get us a different vehicle in the next day or 2 and would call us. They never called. A week later we had mechanical issues with the vehicle and were sent to a different location to exchange the vehicle. We spent an hour on the phone and were told that the location would have a vehicle for us. When we got there they didn't have one. So once again I've wasted time and gas and still don't have a proper running vehicle. Your time means nothing to them and neither does the cost of gas. read more

I researched online for the cheapest rate. I was in an accident the day before and would be needing transportation to and from work until my car is fixed. As far as small car, all the companies were comparable. I went with Enterprise BC of location. I scheduled pick up time for same day at 6pm, which is there closing time. I got there 15 til 6pm. The staff was friendly. I asked if there were any free upgrades. Hey it doesn't hurt to ask. I really wasn't looking forward to driving a Yaris. Ask and ye shall receive. They hooked me up with a Chevy Malibu. This car is nicer than I thought. Drives smooth. Picks up and goes. Lots of nice features. Side note. A main reason for getting the upgrade is BC they didn't have any small cars ready, and it was close to closing. I'm just glad they accommodated me. I'm happy with the service I received. It was a quick process. I was there less than 15 minutes. read more

There is one guy that's there I believe is truly polite and wants to help. All others are stuck up jerks who act like the are above everyone else and they are doing us a favor renting us a car. They do not sound sincere when the day hello and it's a joke to them when they ask"how was customer service today". Not even the slightest car given to what we will say or want to say but we are put on the spot. How about sending your customers a survey afterwards and see how they really feel. Rented a car because it is so close to my house. When I got there they acted like it was an issue because I was 30 minutes early and because they didn't have a car clean for the price I paid they made me wait instead of just giving what was clean on the lot. I will avoid at all cost to go back to this location. This Team needs a class on on customer service and a mystery shopper that will actually grade them on how disrespectful they come across . I made reservations for a full size pick up truck and to pick up at 905am. I called to confirm my reservation. I was told none was available in the lot but a few will be available after noon and I will be contacted once one is a available. I waited all day, and now it's 645pm, I never got a return call to let me know if any was available or not. I called and the voicemail prompted me the office closes at 6pm! 1131 W BROADWAY RD is location I rented from. Troy was on the ball and got me sorted out with great customer service. Enterprise says they will pick you up. Well truth is that is contingent on how far from pick up location you are. Got a bit of a run around. However Troy made it right with a discount and time extension. Like when agents have discretion to handle care of customer. Also took time to go over car features. We all know what it is like getting different cars then what we are familiar with. Worst customer service I've ever received at a rental car place. These people have no people skills whatsoever. Many different things I could say, but to start when I walked into the office and asked if I could sit in their chairs while I wait for my boyfriend to return his car, nobody said hello or said ANYTHING. They just stared at me with blank faces. I was just trying to be polite. The return of the vehicle was such a hassle as well. They claim low rates? BS ... my son and his girlfriend broke down in Los Angeles and needed to rent a car to get to Phoenix. He is 22 and his 1 day rental came out to $212! AND, he had gotten to Riverside and had to turn around because bone head at Anaheim Enterprise left his keys in the rental ... they gave a small percentage off and no help on added fuel and bill was still $212! Go to Budget! Cheaper and they also rent to under 25 as long as you have a credit card and they didn't charge a one way fee. He rented at budget for return to Anaheim for $68. read more
