My girl and I picked up a rental to head up to the Grand Canyon. Rob, Syed and Mike were extremely helpful. I had a convertible booked which I was excited about. However, it was delayed and give our 5 suitcases Syed offer us another car to keep us happy. I was pretty flexible in what we drove with a few exceptions (of course my girl would define it as not-flexible). Syed was vital in ensuring we got into a car quickly and one that we liked. I had rented year and years at Hertz: however decided to try Alamo. I have to say i'm Impressed. The variety of cars in the fleet was great and the key folks I spoke with were very helpful. I'll be back!

Lola was very helpful in getting me a car and upgrading the size for a decent price. Drove out of the lot in a new Chevy Equinox and it made the 2.5 hour drive to Sedona a lot more comfortable for an additional $25/day. Car was clean and drove nicely!. Original rental was booked through Allegiant Airlines so Lola let me know i could call Alamo to give them my Insider number and get points for the rental cost. The return was really easy and as we cleaned up the small amount of garbage in the car from snacks and such, we were told we can just leave it all, by one of the Alamo employees. (Which we didn't do, but that was nice of him!) 2/6/18 Update - I called Alamo as Lola suggested, but was told their Insider program just gives you discounts, and you don't get to tally points, so I'm not sure what Lola meant, but good to know for my future bookings!

During my visit to Arizona, we booked a premium car rental with Alamo. The rates were decent as it was a busy weekend and they also offered after hours drop off. The staff was very helpful and they gave us a weekend special upgrade to a Cadillac XTS. That was the best part as the car was new with just 2K on it. Very comfortable. I am very happy with my rental.

A nice lady helped me with my pre-planned reservation- giving me the choice of several car models based on my needs. I went with an economical sedan with good MPG, plenty of legroom and trunk space. I was handed the keys and asked to walk down to their on-site lot to retrieve the car. As a National Club member it appeared that this location did have the service booth to grab your car and bypass the counter but Covid-19 has changed that for now. You must go into the terminal to get your car. I was a little bit underwhelmed with the car- it had over 30,000 miles and was pretty dirty inside and out. Again, I'd imagine the virus is keeping more staff from being on site and keeping up with regular cleanings, etc. There were nicks, dents and scratches along the car's body so I made sure to snap a few pics and keep them documented. Later, after returning the car I realized very little attention was given for damage checks (guess they're looking for major body damage). On all occasions while working with a National representative on-site they were polite and helpful. The both wore masks. I feel the prices are fair with National- and it helps that I have a corporate account to attach to as well. They offer roadside assistance for free and there are upgrades such as added insurance, GPS, satellite radio, car seat, etc. Each one comes with an additional daily cost of course but at least those options are available. The return process was simple enough- again the pandemic changed things up a bit. Drive into the return lot, park the car, walk to the lot's service office and hand in your keys. They charge the card on file and hand you a receipt. Super easy.

The entire rental process sucks at this location. We have been omitted and misled in many different…read moreways. First, as you by debit card is okay but only ok if traveling, they left out the pRt that it's different if you're local. Then, credit card deposit is $300 when we were told it's $50. Lastly, they wouldn't rent a vehicle because I tried using my wife's credit card (mine is getting replaced) with her presence, but it needs to be under my name. Once wife arrived, they wouldn't rent to her because I said fuck this place. Well fuck this place!!!!

Eric, a veteran like myself was amazing to deal with. Very thorough and professional checking out the car for me. Dropping off the car was just as pleasant working with Justin. Again very helpful and professional and made returning the car super easy. Only thing was the car had a light odor and looking at the service sticker it appears the vehicle was 12k miles over the recommended oil change mileage-- and the car sure drove like it. Let the staff know and they were going to look at this. Stellar customer service, just need a little extra attention to the vehicles. Looking forward to going back soon.

And I leased a car from here for a yearly Disneyland and had the best customer…read moreservice , my car gave out and assumed me would get the same customer service Assistant manager Brandon assisted us and gave us a around around with documents that we provided 1 week before .. then all our paper work went through and proceed to tell my husband he will upgrade him to a complementary upgrade cause of the hassle but continued to charge us full price . We delivered the vehicle back with full gas and he ignored us and said we wanted that which he upgraded us on us. Plus he told us the guy that helped us was fried because he was skipping steps.. how is this fair and I personally think he is low key racist he didn't wanna help us we work hard at a hospital medical lab technicals and at the casino why be making us struggle more brandon .. worst experience

However, the return flight was fraught was frustration and disappointment, including a total of 5 delays for a total of 7h and 29m sequestered to gate 7 in Rapid City's airport. I was pretty frustrated and angry, but once I learned what the company did in attempts to prevent everyone involved from being stranded, I completely understood and am now sympathetic to the cause. I would actually choose Allegiant Air again if their route was the most convenient, even with the possibility of being shipwrecked by them again... because they do try and they do care

This particular experience is regarding the purchase of tickets. I recently learned that if you…read morehave the opportunity to purchase tickets at the counter, you can save roughly $40 per round trip which is essentially the convenience/admin fee online, but there are specific parameters on how to do so... It has to be during their allotted or scheduled hours for the airport Which is extremely limited and as of this review is from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Every other day they are considered "closed". I did inquire with the agent if it really was only on Sundays, which she said they can sometimes do it during other hours right before or after a flight, but not guaranteed and depends whose working that day. Secondly, though they have various lines and have signs saying "All Services", you have to go to the very end, along the wall for tickets and oddly enough there is no sign. Because the hours are so limited, travelers will book multiple sets of tickets at once and their system or process is not built around efficiency, We had about 10 or so people ahead of us and were in line for almost an hour. Again, some of these travelers were booking numerous tickets, so it would take longer, but they really don't set anyone up for success and you have to provide all the standard info you need for a flight, but verbally then need to confirm. So as you can imagine, not the quickest process. It would make a lot more sense if they have forms that could be prefilled to help streamline the process. We had three round trip tickets to book so saved about $120 for our hour of time, was it worth it? In this particular case, yes, but time is money too, so one ticket, maybe not, but it's all relative. You do also have to pay for parking, which luckily is not too steep in Mesa and was a few bucks for the hour. I do not quite understand why more work for the staff leads to more affordable or cheaper tickets, but is an option for those traveling and if you have many tickets to book!

One Star (Would Give Zero if I Could)…read more I've never experienced such blatant dishonesty and manipulation from a company--until I rented from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. My partner and I are being wrongfully accused of causing "discoloration" to the rear bumper and front passenger fender of a vehicle we rented. According to Enterprise, this supposed "damage" was due to a repaint job, which is absolutely false. We did not alter the car in any way. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of deleting the photos I took before driving off the lot--photos that clearly would have shown the car's condition. Enterprise has now taken full advantage of that, and despite having no actual proof that we caused any damage, they've moved forward with a claim. Their entire case hinges on the fact that we didn't opt for their insurance coverage--an obvious play to squeeze more money from customers who decline their overpriced add-ons. I've been forced to hire legal representation and will be pursuing litigation. Whether it's in small claims court or the Arizona Supreme Court, Enterprise--specifically manager Cynthia--will have to explain their actions in front of a judge. This is not just about money. This is about standing up to a company that is clearly trying to scam honest people who trusted them. I'm a young professional just trying to stay afloat, and Enterprise has kicked me while I'm down. I've never felt more violated by a business. I'll spend every last penny fighting this before I let Enterprise take one more hard-earned dollar from me. To anyone reading this: document everything. Take photos. Get signatures. And if something feels off--walk away. Enterprise, good luck .
