I was trying to find a good dentist after having a not-so-good-experience with a previous one. When I read some reviews on Dr. Kwon , I decided to see if he could help with the pain I was still having in a newly crowned tooth from previous dentist. After just a few minutes of my exam, he could tell I needed a root canal on that tooth. He assured me that he could still do a root canal through a crown. (I was worried because the crown I got from previous dentist was expensive.) I was also very nervous because I've heard horror stories about root canals as I had never had one before. I can honestly say that it was NOT a horrible experience at all. Dr. Kwon did an amazing job from start to finish. He made sure that I was comfortable and at ease all the way through the procedure and I was in very minimal pain even after the numbness wore off. Dr. Kwon and his staff are very kind, accommodating, and professional. I have sent my husband and my son to see him since then and we are all in agreement that they all deserve an A+ Rating! read more

I have never done a yelp review, but Dr. Kwon and his team are so great, I had to take the time to tell you about them. I first choose Dr. Kwon because I was in need of a root canal, and I was afraid of the procedure, of course. I saw an ad where Dr. Kwon had said "I am afraid of the dentist, and I am a dentist!" I choose him because I knew he would understand my fears and concerns. He offered a TV with headphones so I could watch TV during the procedure, which proved to be a great distraction! More recently I had a broken tooth that couldn't be saved, so Dr Kwon had to pull it... A few days after it was pulled the pain became unbearable so I called Dr Kwon late on a Saturday night and he called me back! I explained to him the pain I was going thru and he decided he wanted to see me the following morning, Sunday morning! The next day, 10'oclock Sharp he met me there at his office, as did his assistant Kris, and they worked their magic. I am so grateful for Dr. Kwon and his staff, they will be my dental family forever! read more

Been with the practice since before Dr. Kwon owned it and have always been happy (15+ years). The new office is great! (okay not so new anymore, I think they moved upstairs over a year ago :-) The larger waiting room with windows is really an improvement over the smaller office space they used to occupy downstairs in the same building. Great family practice - they really care about me, my husband, and my boys dental health. And - before you wonder - yes - overtime I have had more elaborate/intensive work done as has my husband, and my boys. Dr. Kwon and his staff keep up to date on the latest/greatest advances in dentistry and have been able to get us quickly in/out of the chair for things like fillings, crowns and emergency visits (one of my boys took a baseball to the mouth this past spring during practice and the office fit him right in to help assess the damage :-) And - I never have a hassle with insurance billings. So long as we live in the area - we won't entrust our dental needs to anyone else :-) read more

I highly recommend Dr. Hanset and crew. I originally came in because my front bridge came out and needed to be cemented back in. While cementing the bridge back in, it did not sit right. Dr. Hanset had to pull it out and clean off the cement to reset it. During that process a piece of my porcelain bridge was damaged and flaked off later on when I was at home. I scheduled another appointment and let them know about the damage during the visit. Too my relief Dr. Hanset acknowledged that the damage most likely took place during the cementing mishap and took full responsibility in covering the cost of a whole new bridge and visit to get it repaired. A cost that would have run me around 5 grand or so. The repair was successful and I'm happy with my new front bridge. Dr. Hanset and staff are very personable. They make sure to communicate thoroughly with you to make sure all your needs are met and you are satisfied with your results to the best of their abilities. read more

Late afternoon, Dr. Kwon accepted me as a referral from another Dentist on short notice when that provider had no availability. His office offered me an appointment at 7:00 am the next day. Upon arrival all my paperwork was pre-arranged for completion. The office setting is clean,neat and organized and the staff's demeanor is exceptional. I received an estimate beforehand of what my insurance would cover verses any out-of pocket expense. As for the procedure, Dr. Kwon listened to my concerns, reviewed my medical history, took x-rays and explained findings. Then he offered choices of treatment. It made me feel valued to know he allowed me to take part in the process and together we developed the best solution. I chose to get a root canal, and the service was nearly pain-free, it has been a day since and I can talk easily and require minimal, if any, medication. Why is it so hard to find a good dentist? I have been to more than a few and had less-than-satisfactory experiences at most of them. Kwon Dentistry completely exceeds my expectations. I have not had to wait for more than a couple minutes past my appointment time (a few minutes is absolutely understandable). I have felt completely attended to. At other offices, I have spent a lot of time sitting in the chair, waiting for long period of time (45 minutes) while they were attending to other patients (obviously over-booking appointments). I absolutely love that they do CEREC crowns. It takes one visit to get the whole thing done, rather than having to wait a few weeks for the lab to make the crown and having to get childcare for multiple appointments. The hygienest was very thorough and friendly. My teeth have never felt so clean! Dr Kwon provides expert care. Love this place! So glad I found it! read more

I've been going to Dr. Kwon's practice for several years now. I wanted to update my last review. I gave this office 5 starts last time. If I could give 6 I would! The whole office clicks together like a team. Nancy is always wonderful up front taking care of everything needed there with others as needed. Heather, my hygienist, is really good at what she does, seems to love her work, and gives praise when I've shown some improvement in my oral hygiene. And lastly, Dr. Kwon, he is very good at everything. I'm in the process of getting my second implant from him and have had other work done too. Never any pain, he is firm and gentle and gets the job done! Plus they are I think what's called a preferred provider with my dental insurance and that helps lower the cost. Absolutely the best Dentist ever! I have seen many over the years, but Dr. Kwon is the very best. I had an implant done and several other procedures, and every single one went great, and I might add that there was minimal pain. So minimal, I could hardly feel the first injection of Novacaine. Totally professional and the friendliest Dentist. The staff is fantastic. The office is clean. I feel relaxed every time I see Dr. Kwon. There can be some anxiety seeing a Dentist, but not with Dr. Kwon! I've never been happy going to the dentist, but I am knowing that I will get the job done right by Dr. Kwon. Oh ya, and watching Netflix of listening to music while in the chair is great. However the procedures are so quick and painless I find that I usually don't use the TV or music. all staff are wonderful, I had a great experience. My dentist was awesome Dr. Gordon Kelch and his assistant Jeanette. No long wait in the waiting room. what I was really amazed about is any dentist in the past I always had to come back for another appointment for them to complete the crown process but not with Gresham Advanced Dentistry. It was one and done. about 21/2 hours later I was walking out the door with my new crown. I would definitely recommend them for any dental work that you need done. I am in need of another crown next month and am returning there to get it done. Madison is the best! She is calm, caring and just wonderful! All of the Kwon Dentistry staff are nice and kind. The front office staff are efficient and busy. They keep the office clean and COVID-19 safe for staff and patients. Kwin Dentistry is a really cool office too; with such a wonderful fish tank full of green plants and colourful fish. Dr. Kwon is professional and kind. He is a great person and dentist. He makes you feel at ease and relaxed when he visits with you in the chair. I feel safe and protected when I get my teeth cleaned. Dr. Kwon is a very caring and compassionate dentist who has surrounded himself with a great staff, each sharing his commitment to serving the patients. I have always felt more like a guest than a patient every time in go in for a dental problem or for a routine cleaning. I'd also like to highlight Jennifer as a fantastic and truly professional dental hygienist. I will be returning in January for a follow-up visit regarding a dental issue which Dr. Kwon discovered and will correct. I have also scheduled my next dental cleaning and it's on the books for six months down the road. Yesterday, February 13,2018, I had the most wonderful gift of having Jen Nunn as my hygienist to clean my teeth. Oh my goodness, I could write a short fiction on this episode. Right now looking back it was hilarious. But I literally had two crowns that needed to be reset during the appointment. She was spectacular!!!! And of course Dr Kwon is always way over-the-top terrific. I hope this isn't too much data, but I got really dizzy during the appointment and she literally let me sit up while she 'stood on her head' hahaha and got the finishing details accomplished. I had my first appointment with Dr. Kwon and his staff. Over the past 60 years I have had a variety of experiences with dentists and none have left me with such a great first impression as this visit has been. I can not say enough about how well the staff treated me and how professional and thorough the Dental Hygienist was. Jen Nunn was very honest and explained in detail what I was doing right and how I could improve my daily dental hygiene. Fortunately I had no dental issues that needed Dr. Kwon's attention but met with him and feel very comfortable with returning for any future cleanings or procedures as needed. read more

I was very impressed by Dr. Kwon, his staff, and the office itself! As soon as I entered the doors I was warmly greeted and quickly assisted. The waiting room was organized and comfortable. Dr. Kwon seemed down to earth and personable, which makes it easy to communicate with him. I am so pleased with my dental hygienist! She was kind and did such a great job at cleaning certain spots where there was visible plaque. I have only been once, but the staff and Dr. Kwon were all very friendly, warm and welcoming. I have been experiencing some pain after a root canal and Dr. Kwon showed me the x-rays and explained everything. I go back in a couple of weeks to get a crown on the tooth. Nancy had some issues finding out active status with our switch in insurance, but she was very helpful and patient with the process so far. Nancy also printed out a rough estimate, calculating how much my crown would cost, so my husband and I could plan financially. It was a pleasant visit so far, and I look forward to my next appt!! read more

Dr. Kwon is great. My parents, my wife and my son and I are all patients of Dr. Kwon. The thing that I most appreciate about Dr. Kwon, aside from being a great dentist, is how up on the latest technology he is. He is on the cutting edge and always updating equipment that I didn't even know existed. One time I had to wait in a chair for a while to have a cap made (on sight), he set me up on netflix to pass the time. His staff is very nice and helpful and he works around my crazy work schedule. Dr. Kwon's office has been a great dental experience. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always seem to care personally as they ask about things that have been going on in my life every time. In addition, I've never experienced any procedure without a full knowledge of what the process entailed including the costs. They have financing options through Care Credit that help to make larger procedures more affordable. I have been going to Dr. Kwon for almost a year now and I love it! I even moved to Washington and still make the drive to Gresham. Once you find the best there's no reason to go elsewhere. The office staff and hygienists are always really nice and helpful. My hygienist always remembers that I have sensitive gums and works with me to ease my anxiety.
