In April, my class c camper based on a Ford super duty van broke its 3 piece driveshaft and left me on the side of the highway and it has been a nightmare since. He came very quickly to repair the front window regulator in my 2008 Ford Focus. He was knowledgeable in diagnosing and repairing the issues (which also included a broken plastic part that some might have missed) and I would call him again under the same circumstances. I'm not very experienced with pricing for mobile mechanic services, but I had hoped for a lower price. I reasoned that he only had to travel 5 minutes, 1.5 miles, and presumably has low overhead. After checking online, I believe that the price for the repair was about half again as much as it would have been at a AAA-approved mechanic, but on the other hand, there was the tremendous convenience of home service. For all I know, the pricing was about what someone should expect. In the same circumstances, i.e., when it was hard to go to my regular mechanic around the corner, I'd call Greg again without hesitation. read more
