Our upstairs unit was not working well at all. I called Greg's by recommendation from my son, who was very pleased with their work. In short order, Robert came out and inspected the system and determined we had a faulty damper. He measured the damper and then provided an estimate for a replacement. I agreed and the next day Jeremy came out with the replacement damper and performed the installation. He also inspected my a/c compressor letting me know all was within correct specification. Our house is cool again and I'm glad I called Greg's. read more

Top-notch service. I can wholeheartedly recommend Shannon, the entire experience was great.

Called Greg's Heating and Air first thing in the morning because my AC was working intermittently. They had a service technician out that afternoon. He quickly diagnosed that the float switch in my overflow pan was tripping due to water build up. He was able to quickly clear the drain line and get things back in working order. While it may not have been a big job or too difficult, the fact that in the heat of the Austin summer Greg's was able to send a technician out in a matter of hours speaks volume to why I am a repeat customer. I have had nothing but great experiences working with Greg and his team. read more

They were able to come within two hours and were super helpful in fixing our heater before the freeze! Small business! read more

Very easy to schedule. Technician arrived on time and completed the job in a thorough manner. He had great customer service skills.

Yesterday Greg's Heating and Air came out for my semi annual service check to get us ready for the long hot summer we are going to have. The two service gentleman that came were very efficient and checked everything. We needed a couple of pounds of refrigerant and the coils had to be cleaned and all components were checked. I feel very good about their service and will continue to depend on service. We signed up for their maintenance service which in the long run save us money on our aging unit. Thank you Greg. read more

We gradually became very disappointed with our long-time AC service company over the last couple of years so when our AC decided to take some time off the other day, it seemed a good time to move on. There were several on the internet that presented well and had many good comments. But I kept going back to Greg's. Tons of great comments, but there's something extra, something different there, too: Greg himself has years of experience and is knowledgeable and capable of delivering what one hopes for when hiring AC help, but there's also the sense that he loves his business and wants his clients to love it also. To that end the tech (Isaac, I think) could not have done more. Communicated arrival time and actually arrived even a bit sooner, showed great interest and intention of solving the problem, for starters. He was very thorough in evaluating the issue and meticulous in satisfying himself that the AC was working perfectly when done. In addition, I also appreciate the ease of contacting, the great communication, the time windows and the flat rates. read more

They are pretty professional, good communication and willing to spend time to investigate. Will use them again!

It was just one phone call and Greg's heating and air took it from there. They kept in contact with me and explained everything that they were going to fix. They gave me a price fairly quickly too. Within 24 hours they replaced my air conditioner. It's pretty hard to beat that kind of service. read more

Local company. Tech came out after business hours to get our AC back online. No other company was able to come out and fix so quickly. Not only did they find and fix the problem, they waited and monitored the system to make sure it was working. Great service! read more

these guys were awesome! They were quick and professional and they also identified our current airflow issues and upsized our supply/return system to make the whole house more efficient. nice and cool and comfortable now! read more

Quality work for a very fair price!!! the best experience I've ever had with an AC technician

We continue to get great service out of Greg's, and would recommend them to anyone. Fast but thorough.

Would highly recommend working with this group. Called them to have them out to fix some persistent issues with my AC. They went above and beyond to fix the unit and saved me around 10k compared to other quotes and solutions. Can't thank Greg and his team enough for their hard work, creativity, diligence, and speed. Amazing company to work with. Complete pleasure. read more

greg's heading and air team were really fast service and Shannon was great technician to fix and repair it quickly .

Creating an HVAC system for a small 1,700 single story house with up to 20 foot ceilings could be challenging however Greg was able to design and install a perfect system - balanced airflow, efficient and quiet - at a very reasonable price. Norman just replaced the filters which was needed due to all the construction - great dependable service and quality workmanship all around. read more

Beyond great. Central A/C went out on Friday. Spent hours on the phone and filling-out online forms. Finally was "blessed" with a visit from Strand Brothers on Saturday night. They generously offered a Lennox system - including a $3,500 fee for the thermostat alone - for just over $28,000. Or, I could pay a fixed rate for 120 months that would amount to a total payout of $56,000 at the end of the term, at which time I would own a now-failing HVAC system. Booked visits with Stan's - they never called back - Fox (they could come Wednesday), and so on. Called Greg on Sunday at 4 p.m. He was picking up a rescue dog. By 9 p.m. we had bids in hand. Let's just say that I got a Carrier system that's top.of.the.line. for more than $10,000 less than what Strand quoted. Isaac came out Monday for on-site; (other) Isaac and Juan and team came out today (Tuesday) at 9 a.m.; Joseph came by an hour ago (and will be back tomorrow); and Greg stopped in during midday. My property is cleaner than it was before they visited. There is some dust. Those are my complaints. I cannot emphasize the level of service, commitment, and responsiveness of Greg and his team. Unreal. I probably lack the work ethic to even be employed by him. Thank you, Greg and team! read more

I have used them a few times and we have had great expierences. Great work, quick service, and competitive pricing. Would highly recommend!

They installed a new AC unit for me and are so easy to work with, knowledgeable and willing to explain anything you have questions on.

Did some research on Yelp before selecting this outfit. I had them service two HVACs on two properties. In general, the technician was thorough evaluating the systems and recommending maintenance and fixes. In terms of pricing, they are in the range of other companies that I have used over the years. Response time and communication was good throughout. Would recommend Greg's. read more

Good communication. Got the the job done promptly What else can I say? Not one of those big companies read more

Really great and friendly service. They responded right away to my quote request. Will use them again for sure.

We had an issue with our HVAC not cooling even when it's continuously running the whole day. Greg was the first to response even if project details were sent late at night. He immediately scheduled his guy to come the next morning and applied a temp fix for the issue, turned out it was a problem with the Honeywell thermostat panel that needed to be replaced. My husband said that he was very knowledgable and explained the problem to him. Also explained that we do not need to replace it right away it's just that if we don't, the upstairs thermostat will control temp for both upstairs and downstairs. He will send quote for the replacement. Great experience overall with these guys and will use them for any HVAC maintenance and services in the future. read more

I recently moved out of town and had to take care of a fried thermostat at my old house in Leander. Greg sent Isaac out and he did a great job finding the problem and fixing it. Isaac was prompt, very courteous, and kept me up to date on everything he was doing. Being 4 hours away, it was comforting to know that he was taking care of getting the problem resolved. Thank you, Isaac! read more

We've been having issues with our AC for the past couple of years. The first time we noticed the problem, we contacted Greg and he was quick to respond and helped us install a new evaporator coil. However, 6 months later, the problems returned and we turned to Greg again. This time, Greg was very hard to get a hold of as he wouldn't respond to texts for weeks. When he finally responded and installed a new coil under Lennox warranty, he sent who seemed to be a young apprentice to refill our refrigerant and charged us $1k for it without an itemized receipt. Not even 2 months later, we started having issues with the AC again. After the repeated issues, we had another company measure the refrigerant to find that pressure was 60% down. After continued investigation, no leaks could be found in the coils or lines. The suggested reason for the leak was that the system was not filled properly. The evaporator coil installations seem to be done well but our continuing issues in combination with the later lack of communication and no itemization of receipts left us ultimately dissatisfied. We feel that Greg is a nice guy but there might be room to improve on some procedures. read more

Came home from a 2 week trip to find the inside of my house was 105°. Yikes. I looked for an HVAC company on Google first. But these companies with allegedly, 12k 5-star reviews seemed a little suss. When I looked on Yelp, those companies almost ALWAYS had about a 3.5-star rating. Long story short, Greg was able to get a tech out to me that day. Tech was knowledgeable, gave me a lot of information about how the AC works (I've only owned a home for a year so still a newbie at this kind of thing). Broken capacitor was fixed in about 45 minutes. Fairly inexpensive, only had to replace 1 part (which was nice). Got back to 73° in the house in about 22 hours. Crisis Averted! Thanks Greg! read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. I needed my entire system replaced, including the central A/C, a gas furnace, all the ductwork and the registers and transitions. Not only did Greg offer the most competitive bid the crew he sent was wonderful. They were professional, efficient and very polite. i am so happy with how this project turned out. Thanks to everyone at Greg's Heating and Air! read more

Greg and Joseph are super professional and got our AC fixed the same day I called. Greg took my call before they were technically open and Joseph came out right on time for the appointment. Very knowledgeable about HVAC systems and trustworthy. Thank you so much! read more

We recently called Greg's to replace our 18 yr old AC. Greg went above and beyond on educating us on our current system and limitations and the new system. His quotes were fair and accurate and he was quickly able to get a crew out to make all the changes. I really appreciated that he didn't come off as a salesman or pushy. He was extremely helpful when we had an issue post installation where our rooms were being unevenly cooled. He was quickly able to pinpoint the culprit to a dirty plenum and poorly situated air ducts (from when the builder had installed them long ago). We would recommend him to anyone needing a new system or a repair. We look forward to having his crew come out for bi yearly maintenance! read more

These guys are awesome! Let me tell you why: 1) Communication: I was able to text with a real human and get a better understanding of my options. 2) Hard working: due to the design of my system the motor was tough to get out for replacement. They were creative and figured out how to do it in the end. 3) No upselling! Will certainly be calling these guys again read more

Responded quickly and took care of the needed repairs with efficient and careful service. Nice people too.

This was easily the best service experience I have ever had! Isaac arrived right on time , the repair was quick and fairly priced.

I called Greg after having Radiant come out and tell me I needed a full HVAC replacement. Greg put me at ease immediately. He was able to send a tech out the next day and we just needed $500 worth of repairs. I trust Greg and his team tenfold and will be calling them for any future repairs. read more

In the 7 + years we've been in our home we haven't had a major issue with A/C & Furnace until a couple of weeks ago when we had our first legitimate cold snap, and our furnace would not come on. Wasn't sure who to call as we haven't had an A/C-Heating company we trust, until now. I called Greg, and he had Isaac out the next day. Communication was good, Isaac was there in the window we were given, and when he arrived he immediately went to work on diagnosing the problem. He took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, but there was no time wasted. Once he discovered what was wrong he communicated the issue clearly, and laid out what he was able to set up as a work-around. The work-around gives us some breathing room as the larger fix is not cheap. He got our furnace up and running for just a little more than their diagnostic fee, and the best part is we know how much to save to complete the larger fix. So glad we have a Heating & Air company we can trust for all future work & maintenance we will need. read more
