I'm a Gregular! I love their coffee. Their space in Paramus is amazing! Plenty of seating, great lighting. It really is a great place to have coffee and gather. I admit I take advantage of the setting to do work. I spend A LOT of time here on the weekends getting work done. My only complaint is that they almost ALWAYS keep one bathroom locked, so there is often a wait to use the restroom. I would say out of about ten times here for several hours at a time, only once were both bathrooms available to patrons: the other nine times, only was bathroom was available. If I could give this place a negative 5 I would. So terrible and my coffee was chunky and so sweet to the point that i had to ask to put more black coffee in the drink. The drink still turned out to be absolutely HORRENDOUS. Please do not go here it actually left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Horrible service. We placed an online order today on the app. I went to the store 15 minutes later and they said it was going to take more time. I waited another 30 minutes in the place as customers backed up by a slow staff that could hardly pour a coffee. I asked for a refund and they told me to use an ovation app to enter a review and wait for a manager to call me. I have little confidence they will call or refund me. I had a NYC friend forward me a coupon for a free drink here but the coupon wasn't real; it was just an attempt to download the app to get a free drink which I would've received anyways for downloading the app. I tried a cappuccino and requested it extra hot. The "regular" size is a small just about anywhere else and is pricey for $4.30. The drink was really good and not hot at all (I hate to imagine what non extra hot drinks taste like). Yes, I enjoyed it but more than Starbucks which is less expensive? Mehhhh. Like my mom says, free always tastes better. Also, heads up, the customer before me tried to order something that was out of stock; this makes me think that they either had a surge of new customers which is entirely possible or they did a poor job of operations and management). As I drive down 17 on a daily basis to the Garden State Parkway, coffee becomes a part of my daily routine. I usually make it at home, but today, I wanted to treat myself and stopped here. Let me start with the positives. They have a drive-thru and easy access on and off Route 17, right before getting on the GSP. Now that the positives are done, I have to leave the negatives. I kept my order simple, a nitro brew iced coffee, black with 2 sugars and a power bite. My coffee was more bitter than my high school prom date. The power bite was in one word, gloppy. One bite required 35 chews. There are better more convenient options out there. Also, it was super expensive, $8.55 for a coffee and a power bite. read more

I love the Gregs, but this wasn't my fave Gregs. Some confusion over whether or not I could get my Greg's points after the purchase, since I forgot to show the app until after I paid, the phone was in my hand but I forgot about it since I had not had coffee. NBD. They call tap water here, sink water which I found odd, but if you've had Gregory's coffee you know it's delicious and I was not disappointed. We also got the avocado toast which was quite tasty. They didn't have the poppy see bread which is the best, but I think they no longer make it. So thrilled they built a Gregory's Coffee near us. To be honest, I tried one of the branches in NYC and for some reason wasn't a fan, but the coffee here is not as bitter and they have a nice selection of protein balls and vegan food. I love the creative coffee flavors and occasionally go for the tumeric milk when I'm looking for a healthy and decaffeinated fix (good anti-flammatory spice). They have a drive-thru for extra convenience but there is a moderate-sized sitting area for those who would rather hang out. read more

Every time I try to place an order for pick up they are out of everything. I've tried to order the blind date, toasted marshmallow latte, gingerbread latte and they are ALWAYS not available. The same applies to a lot of the vegan food options.
