I had Gregory's for the first time this past weekend and have been hooked since! I was always hesitant to stop inside because I had once downloaded the app and attempted to order prior to going to work and wasn't able to customize my drink, which scared me due to my tree nut allergy. However my friend convinced me to try it and also informed me that the app was glitchy and was being worked on and that the drink was modifiable. To my surprise it was, now I'm absolutely obsessed with the Fall Oat Boy minus the hazelnut. Been a while since I've been to Gregory's, I'm not a regular here. Pulled in the drive thru - no issues with the service. I ordered a medium coffee with cream. The coffee was a little fruitier tasting than my preference, but I don't have a problem with it as I was just trying it. And if that's their coffee, that's fine. Everyone has their own personal preference. I did have an issue with the New Yorker sandwich. The bun was too sweet, but again, some people like that, so I'm not really complaining. But they haphazardly threw on 2 undercooked gross looking pieces of bacon, more like a dog treat. Then the whole thing was nuked to heat up, which macerated the cheese out of the sandwich, and the egg was a tasteless non entity. I don't have a problem with things that are due to people individual tastes like the coffee or the roll. But the execution was an embarrassment. I won't be back. read more

We sat at a very tiny table. I like this Gregory's way better than the ones in NYC! Beautiful ambiance, plentiful pastry selection (the banana bread/pound cake slice and blueberry muffin were so yummy and fresh), and lots of beverages to choose from (the Hall & Oats was great, perfect amount of cinnamonny flavor). Great spot in Paramus. The vibe is fresh and something new and different in the paramus- Ridgewood area. I loved the pink coffee, and the chocolate croissant was delicious! Ambiance is really nice and a great spot to go study or catch up and talk with friends. I look forward to trying more items on the menu. Only thing I found kinda surprising was the garbage overflowing. The place is beautiful so it was kinda strange to see in the corner garbage and coffee cups overflowing to the point that people put stuff next to the garbage bin because there was no room in the trash can. Also my table was dirty with bread or croissant flakes from the last person sitting there, I ended up cleaning the table myself. Really nice spot, very modern and clean on the inside, coffee is tasty, and there is a nice selection of different drinks. I got the hall and oats, cold brew with oat milk and cinnamon. I was expecting sweet and it wasn't , which is a good thing, let the coffee shine. Also got the banana bread, which looked like it would be sweet, and was again pleasantly surprised! Loveee the interior and design of this cafe! There are so many comfortable window seats and pretty plants as well! The coffee and tea were pretty basic but still good. I ordered the Deluxe which was a croissant with sausage, egg and cheese. It was really cheap (price-wise) compared to other cafes, but the quality and taste was mediocre. The location is very convenient (unless there is heavy traffic on the highway), plus there is a drive thru, so I will definitely be back! read more

Came to this place because a friend raved about the chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was chocolate chip filled and the the dark roast was delicious as a black coffee. But I asked for oat milk and sugar and paid the up charge % extra in cost because it was not from a cow. So my $3 coffee (small) was $4. And if you look at the picture you can see the lack of oat milk. I don't understand why such a large up charge. Don't tell me it costs more because the difference is nominal. So I think it will take a a friend wanting to meet there before I return for a coffee to go. read more

Went to Gregory's today and I was talking to a manager at the drive thru line and the girl who works there comes to the window and says she needs to move on the side , there are cars behind and I told the other employee what's her problem, I was talking to a manager and I said she was very rude and then she tells me she's actually very helpful!! And I told her she has a bad mouth. The manager was there and she didn't even say anything to her. Very bad customer service with a rude employee working there. They don't even have a customer service number.. they need to train their employees what they say ti a customer and that manager didn't do anything. Heard about this place through my sister. Needed to study my ass off and needed a nicer, cleaner place than your usual starbucks where the bathroom smells like death and the floor is sticky. The place is very clean, bathroom smells great, staff was friendly. I also liked the ambiance, plants everywhere. I ordered the salted caramel macchiato which I asked if there was an option of adjusting the sweetness but was told that it was already premade. I had to put half of my poland spring water bottle into it to make it drinkable, at least for my taste. I also tried to find out how many grams of caffeine or how many shots the macchiato contained (was taking a big test in a few hours and I didn't want to crash during...) but the worker did not know the answer. I ordered a iced matcha latte and the deluxe sandwich. So far the items I received were pretty good, however my experience with the girl in front wasn't good. It was my first time coming into the cafe and I did take a long time to look over the menu but regardless had some questions when I came to the counter. I asked if they served coconut milk and the girl already started to have an attitude and then when I proceeded to ask what flavors then became more annoyed. Are you kidding me ?! Gregory's is set up almost like a diner/restaurant setting. At least the seating is comfortable. Ambiance is okay, too. I will also say that the employees are polite and professional. Had the nitro and gluten-free banana chocolate chip muffin. Nitro is nothing to write home about. Sort of bitter and forgettable. Muffin was so dry that I only ate a couple of bites. No moisture in it at all. You'd think with banana and chocolate chips as the main flavors the muffin would taste great. I've had my fair share of gluten-free baked goods, since I'm gluten intolerant. Nope. The worst gluten-free item I've ever had. It's as if someone made a muffin with sand. Not sure who makes these muffins, but Gregory's should be angry. The muffin doesn't even taste like banana or chocolate. More like a paper bag rolled up into a ball and with less flavor. Probably won't ever go back. Came here when there was a car show going on, but have been wanting to stop by. Got two breakfast sandwiches and OJ's. It's a big place, alot of seating. They get busy and the place seems forgotten, they don't clean enough, tables were dirty. Didn't help that some people just don't clean up after themselves. I watched two guys drink their coffees get up and leave. Leaving a mess. Who does that? Staff is nice, but over whelmed when really busy. On this day they were a lot of people because of said car show. If you're in the area and need your coffee fix or a lil bf sandwich, not a bad place to get something quick. read more
