Dr. Borrowdale's office and staff are welcoming and supportive. I saw Dr. Brizendine today for the first time. It was a bothersome problem and I appreciated her seeing me in a timely manner. She was excellent and problem solved with gentle, compassionate care. This office is A#1. read more

Staff always answered all my questions and makes such they cover any and all information that I neef. Very professional and caring.

Fraudulent and unprofessional. I had sensitivity when I was biting using my back teeth. I was told filing the gum would fix it. I again went back with the same problem and they are telling me the tooth behind is sensitive. It essentially didn't fix anything. Why did they say it will fix the sensitivity issue? They are just doing random stuff and giving false hope on what will fix the problem. read more

They seem to impose extra dental work unnecessarily. Over priced compared to other dental offices we have gone to. Shop around before you schedule.... read more

Don't go here if you have Delta Dental. They over charge and you will pay $100's out of pocket for things that should be covered.

Most of the time I have a wonderful experience with the staff at Borrowdales office, however these past few visits have been nothing short of torture. I called to cancel an appointment I had until the new year and was met with harsh criticism and aggressive tone. Seems to me like money hungry cash grabbers take priority when picking staff members. Additionally, this past appointment I endured with hygienist, Matt, was torment, as I suffered the fruits of his aggressive labor. He seemed to prioritize speed rather than the care of his patients, as I will say I had the quickest appointment of my life! As I grimaced and squirmed in the chair out of pain he did nothing to ease the barbaric manor in which he cleaned my teeth. Overall three stars! read more

Matt is by far the most meticulous and thorough dental hygienist I've ever had. I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned! I drink tea everyday so staining is an issue. Matt gets all the stain off and I leave with a brighter smile. Since tooth decay is not an issue for me, I can only review based on my experience with Matt. I do see Dr. Borrowdale for my annual exam and he's always very nice and gives me a gold star for my oral health. My family also comes here for Matt and we would not go anywhere else. Highly recommend!!! read more

A very well run office...scheduling, appointment reminders, personnel, techs, and of course, the dentists. The only downside is the insurance coverage, and that is inflicted on them and the patients by the carriers. read more

Our family have been going here for 25 years and it has always been a great place! Just had a gold crown put in and everything was perfect, the staff is amazing and they do a fantastic job. read more

My daughter and I always get such great service in this office. No matter which hygienist we see, or which of the dentists we're scheduled with, we've been very happy each time. The office is clean and front desk service always friendly. I'm really glad I found this practice. read more

Being a senior citizen, I have been to many different dentists over the years. Dr Borrowdale is far and away the best dentist I've ever seen. He is thorough and gentle and caring and he has the best personality and chairside manner. I completely trust him for all my dental needs. He is the best! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Borrowdale over 20 years. He and his staff are ALWAYS friendly and professional! I haven't had many issues with my teeth over the years, but I had to have a root canal a few years ago. Dr. Borrowdale is always gentle, but he had to give me a little extra numbing medicine because I had an extra nerve that was still feeling a little twinge while he was drilling! He was so apologetic!! He's such a great dentist!! In recent years I have been seeing Dr. Vance and she is AMAZING!! My husband; who hadn't been to the dentist in YEARS; sees her as well. He's no longer afraid of going to get his teeth cleaned!! Matt has been my hygienist for about 10 years; he replaced Susan, who retired. I LOVE Matt! He's always gentle and my teeth always feel so clean when I leave!! read more

Dr Borrowdale and Dr Vance (and staff) are amazing. We were patients for 20 something years. We moved from Folsom , and tried a new dentist which did not go well. We are gladly making the drive back to Folsom for this team. read more

The greatest!!! I had no cavities and they are so nice and awesome I had them pull all my teeth for the heck of it!!

All of the staff are always professional and courteous, the front desk staff remember my name even though I only have two cleanings a year, but, most impressively, in almost 20 years, the staff has never recommended to get work done I don't need. I highly recommend Dr. Borrowdale to anyone looking for a dentist. read more

The front desk staff is always so friendly and the best dental hygienists out there! Both Matt and Danah are so gentle and good at what they do! I was someone who use to dread dental appointments and that has all gone away since going here. I would 10/10 recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a great dental experience! read more

I have been going to Dr. Borrowdale for over 15 years. Due to some health issues I have some special needs and really appreciate the dental hygienists who are very careful and accommodating. I also had my first crown and the dentist and assistant were very understanding about my needs and concerns. Great staff! read more

Dr. Borrowdale has been my dentist for 26 years. There has never been a time when I've had a single thing to complain about. The staff in the office has always been professional and courteous, and Dr. Borrowdale has always gone out of his way to explain everything with respect to dental health in a way that is easily understood. Going to Dr. Borrowdale has been such a positive experience that even though I moved out of the area 10 years ago, I still kept him as my dentist and travel from out of state to make my appointments twice a year. read more

This is a wonderful office full of very friendly staff and excellent dental care!!

Possibly the best dentist our family has ever had. The office is very organized, efficient and well-run. Plus, everyone is very friendly. Best of all, they know what they are doing and provide great care without pushing for opportunities to bill for additional unnecessary services or procedures. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist! read more

Great dental office! Staff and physicians are always kind and attentive. Nice and clean atmosphere! On time. Efficient and updated equipment. read more

I've been going to this office for over 9 years. I have been overpaying this whole time. Was never told that Borrowdale was out of Network. They are very expensive. They don't do prior authorizations to get proper quotes. They will just bill you for more later, and act like they don't care. Really disappointing after coming here for over 9 years. The office manager is really rude. They don't care if they lose longtime patients. read more

Love them! And their dental hygienist are all wonderful!!! They are great with my kids (my kiddos started at age 2).

I have been going to Dr. Borrowdale for some 25 years now. For most years it was cleaning 3x a year but I have also had Crowns installed, cavities filled, tooth repairs, whitening procedure, deep scaling many many X-rays done. He uses the latest equipment and techniques and employs the most trained, gentle and caring technicians. Highest recommendations. I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

I've been going to this office for many years. Staff is always friendly & helpful with any insurance issues or need to reschedule appointments. They've always been timely & thorough. They don't push on procedures that aren't actually needed. They'll tell you about the concern, what to keep an eye on & mark it to watch so they make sure to check it your next visit. I appreciate that approach. I left my previous dentist because it seemed like every time I'd go & I had insurance available it seemed they always found something that needed to be done even when I wasn't having any issues. read more

My husband recently retired, so we had to purchase a dental plan of our own, since our dental is no longer paid for by our employers. We signed up online for the "best" Delta Dental plan that was available. We had been going to Dr. Borrowdale under our old Delta Dental plan for about 2 years and so we decided to go back to him with our new plan, which was even better, than the old one we had. All yearly cleanings, X-rays, and periodic oral evaluations according to our plan, were paid at 100%. So my husband went in and low and behold they charged $289 of which we had to pay $150.00! So I called Delta Dental and said "What gives" on our policy it says these items are paid at 100%? So they asked, which dentist did you use, looked him up and said "oh that's why, he rates himself a "Premiere PPO" dentist and charges more than the Delta Dental Plans allow, so that's why you have to pay more." This really ticked me off, as when we asked Borrowdale why are we paying more for these procedures that are supposed to be covered at 100%, they were very vague and said "oh your plan only pays for so much so you have to pay the difference. They said nothing about "Premiere Pricing!" I immediately found another dentist that day with EXCELLENT reviews, that covers exactly what our contract states and now I know what I'm getting and paying for. People... please know, that this dentist "CHARGES MORE" money for the same procedures you can get for a much lower cost with almost any QUALITY PPO DENTIST. Just look at the list provided by Delta Dental, put in your zip code and you'll find dentists in your area. Had I never called, I would have never known I was being charged "PREMIERE PRICING." I'm only writing this review, because had I not called, I would have continued like I have been for more than two years, paying MORE than I had to!!! read more

I've been going to Dr. Borrowdake since I was about 5 years old and he has always provided excellent care. Receptionists, hygienists, and the staff as a whole are all very professional, kind and most importantly great at what they do. read more

Dr. Borrowdale is OK but one of his staff was rude, after I told her I have to wait few more days to know exact how much I supposed to pay from my insurance letter. She became rude and charged me an extra interest of $2 on a balance of $80 after he took in thousands of dollars from my insurance. I told him I was not happy with the interest charge, but he refused to drop few dollars interest charge, it seems he want to give me a lesson for few days late in payment. He lost my family as his patients because he cares about few more extra dollars after charged so much money to my insurance and my pocket money( my share beside of my insurance plan ) read more

Be careful. This place is greedy and overcharged and proposed unnecessary works. After a few visits, I decided not to continue with them. I gave them 2 dental insurances. I had 2 cleanings and 2 consultations plus Arestin work which I paid full amount for what they asked for. Six months later they sent me an email with a bill charging more than the two dental insurances for cleaning, consultation, as well as Arestin work. Their email also said they will send out collector plus interests if I don't pay. Wicked!!! The Arestin treatments (my paying extra in full) was completely unnecessary, and they even proposed more work that wanted me to pay additional of $500+ more (i.e. with my 2 insurances). So I went to another dentist. It was a simple loose implant that was fixed without cost to me with my 2 insurances. read more

I recently moved into the area, and as such, I was looking for a new dentist. I've never been one to enjoy going to the dentist, but my experience here changed my mind. I had several cavities that needed filling, he answered all my questions and I did not feel anything at all during the procedure. read more
