Very accommodating and experts at what they do. Had a deep cleaning as well as a cavity filled.

Im a new patient to The Folsom Dentist & have previous always had poor experiences with dentists.. this place has completely changed how I view going to the dentist. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the biggest smiles from the front desk gals. Rendi is the sweetest, most gentle, informing, dental physician ive ever come across. Dr. Coons was also so pleasant to interact with, a no bs type of guy which I appreciate. Such an amazing experience, & am so happy to find my new dental home in Folsom. read more

I'm new to the area and wasn't looking forward to finding a new dentist. I had a great experience with Dr. Coons and his wonderful staff. Very friendly, welcoming, and professional. My first visit was very thorough and I felt at ease. I highly recommend this office. read more

We recently had our second Dentist appointment at "The Folsom Dentist" which is Dr. Coon's Dentist office. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. However, during a check up for my three year son, Dr. Coon was a bit condescending with a question to myself regarding if my son eats carbohydrates, which he replied "we all do." Moreover, upon Dr. Coon checking my husband's teeth, he was extremely short with the visit was in and out in less than a minute. There was no personable interaction or friendliness with his interaction and simply just checking off another patient. As mentioned above, the staff were pleasant to speak to. With that said, I believe Dr. Coon needs to slow down and focus on putting forth positive quality individual patient attentiveness so patients are valued and likely to return. I believe quality over quantity with patients would be extremely beneficial to returning patients at The Folsom Dentist ". read more

They returned my call and discussed the bill which was from a previous visit and was corrected. Still would have a larger charge moving forward because of Delta Dental fees so we'll have to look for another office that is in network. Also Hannah is very helpful and knowledgeable read more

Highly recommend this office! Have always had a great experience and Dr. Coons and his team are wonderful!

Deceptive practices. I contacted to verify they took our insurance. They confirmed they did with the following voice mail: "Hi Scott this is Jasmine calling from the Folsom dentist reaching out to confirm your appointment on Tuesday July 29th for yourself And Ivy and that is at 300 Also just to let you know we have verified your insurance Everything is good to go And then I had also resent the link for your health history which I feel I believe are filled out already if you have any questions or if you could just give us a call back to confirm Our number here is 9xxxxxxxxx Thank you" Neglected to tell us that the bill for 2 cleanings and exams would exceed our insurance coverage by $600. read more

I would say Dr coon is nice person , But the practicing history is not enough longer. I have experienced same teeth filling every year in last 5 years almost. I had Dr Koh before Dr Coon , that's the reason I kept going this dental office. Unfortunately Dr Koh was retired on 2021. I had decided not go there since last year. read more

I switched to the Folsom Dentist after having lack of communication from Smile Time Dental. Would not recommend them to anyone. I had a serious issue with a tooth that got infected. The tooth required an Implant and they are a one stop shop. Explained everything that was required, along with cost and the office was super nice along with the staff. read more

had the best experience at my first appointment and can't imagine seeing another dentist. the best dentist and dental office I've been too, so clean and professional, and kind. As an insurance agent I would recommend all my clients to go this office! read more

Dr. Coons and his team are amazing! He has seen my husband, my toddler, and myself. All visits have been pleasant. With my 2 year old, he really focused on making sure she had a positive experience, and at the end of her visit, she got to pick a toy from the treasure chest, which she loved! My visits were great as well. I had a cleaning with Amanda, and she was awesome. She talked me through the cleaning and explained everything she was doing. I came back today for a few fillings with Dr.Coons, easy, painless, and efficient! 10/10 definitely recommend checking him out! read more

It's flattering to enter the dental office of Dr. Coon, and to be recognized and warmly greeted by name. One gets the feeling of a family visit. And the friendly beat of a kinship bond goes on from there. From the Receptionist, to the Dental Assistants, to the Dental Hygienists, to the Doctor himself. Each member of the Coon Dental Team demonstrates and extends to patients, their areas of Dental Profession expertise and reflections of their effervescent, charming personalities. The Coon dental office operatives are classy, slick, pristine, ultra-modern and state of the art. Doctor Coons is a reflection of his expert medical/dental training, skilled diagnoses, and clear and understandable procedure explanations. His empathy for patient pain, discomfort, fear, and finances is heartfelt. When you think of personal patient chair side manner, think of Dr. Coons. He is the "Poster Doctor" of the Dental profession. And you will know what I mean, when you receive a personal, appointment follow-up phone call from him asking, "How are you doing?" read more

I have had Dr. Koh as my dentist for over 5 years and I can not recommend him enough. He does an excellent job. His staff are all very professional and friendly. I am always able to get an appointment promptly when needed. I definitely trust Dr. Koh and his team with my teeth! read more

This office is the best. The front desk lady and the rest of the staff are very polite, professional, and efficient. I had the best cleaning with my hygienist and she was very gentle with my sensitive mouth. Dr Koh himself is very thorough and even performed an oral cancer check up included in the exam. He also does not over diagnose like a lot of other dentists out there. I really appreciate that about him especially coming from another dentist that gave me an outrageous treatment plan even though I go to the dentist regularly. I would highly recommend this dental office to any of my friends and family. read more

I decided at the last minute that I wanted to get Invisalign before my wedding!! Dr. Koh made it happen on such short notice!! I am happy to say I love my new smile and can't wait for pictures of my big day next week!!! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Koh and his staff for about 8 years. He is the gentlest dentist I have ever been to. He is very easy to communicate with about my dental needs. Also the Staff is amazing, the dental assistant is always super friendly and happy to see me, they really care about the patients. I work out of town and the office manager is always friendly and helpful when working around my schedule to get my appointment's in when needed. She has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. Dr Koh and his staff are the BEST! Anyone that needs dental work or just a checkup always recommend Dr Koh to them. read more

I recently came to this office merely because it's an "in-network" provider and it's relatively close to my home. In all my years of going to dentists, I've never encountered a more impersonal dental hygienist/assistant. When I was led back on my very first visit, she didn't say "hi", welcome me, or even introduce herself. During a follow-up appointment, she wasn't much better. I find this behavior extremely odd and essentially unacceptable. The receptionist is nice and Dr. Koh is pleasant enough, but if you're looking for that overall feeling of personalized service, I would go elsewhere. Once I get my immediate problem taken care of, I plan to "shop around". read more

I love this office!! I started here with Dr Reiman who retired and I continued with Dr Koh. The staff are are all great! I had previously had seen horrible and dishonest dentists in Sac, (one said I had 10 cavities! that was not true) while I was searching for a dentist after a move from Nevada. A friend recommended this office and I have been here since 2007. No cavities!! Honest. Professional and friendly. Dr Koh did a crown on a fractured tooth for me. Excellent work. Thank you all. read more

Dr Koh is amazing! He has been my dentist for close to 10 years. He has excellent bedside manner and a good sense of humor. When I have dental work done, he is so gentle that I don't feel a thing. The dentist before that I had been going to, I felt everything from the cleaning to the injections. Another wonderful thing about Dr Koh is I never feel he is selling me on anything. Some offices that I had gone to always are always trying to sell me on something and at this office I don't feel like i'm at a car dealership. The staff is also wonderful here and is so nice and professional. They always greet with you with a smile and honestly want to get to know you. The office itself is so clean and state of the art. If you are looking for a great dentist that you can trust and feel comfortable with this is the place! read more
