Dr Henneberry is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever had. He is well educated and very knowledgeable. He is oh so gentle too! I am not a fan of needles in the mouth but he is a pro! Never feel a thing and nice and slow to be painless. He takes my insurance too which is a plus. Also super important, he NEVER gives the hard sell. He will give you the treatment plan and estimate and let you decide what you want to do. No pressure. He is also conservative and doesn't inflate procedures beyond what you actually need. System I love your office and the care that I have received over the years. It's always been good. If not excellent. yesterday the dental hygienist was not very good. She was constantly drowning me with water. I think she had a suction thing hooked on one side but then would squirt tons of water on the other side and not try to remove it,. she needs some more training, and then she'll be just fine. read more

We love, love, love Dr. Henneberry. We've been going to him for at least 5-6 years when we switched over from another Folsom dentist (who shall remain nameless). Whenever we go, Dr. Henneberry and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. My daughter actually likes going to get her teeth cleaned and looks forward to it (yeah, kinda strange but true). They are patient and explain everything that they are doing so my kids are not surprised or fearful. We usually get Christine for our hygienist and she gives good advice on oral hygiene and what works or doesn't work. She's been with the office for a few years (as well as the other ladies) and that speaks to the quality of the organization. We had what I thought was a dental emergency one time when my son's tooth looked like it had cracked in a couple places. I called Deanna and she scheduled me in right away. It turned out that the tooth was on its way out to make room for the adult tooth so everything turned out fine. A big plus is that they are always on time and we never wait to see our hygienist. Many doctors and dentist offices don't respect your time and make you wait, which makes the whole concept of an appointment a moot point. All in all, we have no complaints and would highly recommend this office. If you are halfway responsible with keeping your appointments and respecting their time, you won't be disappointed with Dr. Henneberry and his crew. read more

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I've been a patient of Dr Henneberry for almost 20/years. I am absolutely speechless with him for blatantly ignoring a request to speak to him regarding his "billing/front office" person. I wish I could remember her name, but she has become irrelevant at this point. Previously, my spouse and I would get an EOB from Delta Dental within a few weeks from the date of service. My spouse informed Dr Henneberry's staff (not this current incompetent one), we would pay once we receive a bill from his office. Until a few years ago, we would continue to get EOBs for our bi-annual cleaning, etc. However, we never received any billing invoices from his office. After questioning my spouse, he informed me that when he would complete his appointment, he would be informed of a balance due and he would pay it (which would be many months from the date of service). December, 2019, my spouse went for his cleaning and was shocked to be informed a balance of (over) $500 was due for a crown service I had done in July, 2019! I never received an EOB from Delta Dental regarding this. I contacted Dr Henneberry's office and spoke to this individual who informed me of the service and questioned why it has taken so long to request payment without sending a balance owed, etc. She blamed Delta Dental on a slow response. I contacted my provider to question why they are taking so long in paying my claim and why I never received an EOB. They reviewed my account and informed me Dr Henneberry's office was to blame due to the fact the claim wasn't submitted until November, 2019! I called Dr Henneberry's office and left a request for him to personally return my call to discuss the matter. This person felt the need to debate the issue with me. I did advise her to check with her clearing house for any discrepancies when submitting my claims timely. After a long debate with this incompetent individual, the truth finally was revealed where she stated that she "cannot spend 45/minutes on a call with the clearing house because they only allow 5 patients at a time" and she "had many patients to deal with". I demanded she inform Dr Henneberry I wanted to speak to him personally. She stated Dr Henneberry was extremely busy and would get back to me when he had some time. I told her I did not expect an immediate call and would wait a few days. After a few days, I called again requesting to speak to Dr Henneberry. This idiot informed me that she has given him my messages and he was just too busy with the office and the holidays the following week. I am absolutely speechless and dumbfounded as to Dr Henneberry ignoring a request to speak to him regarding this! Absolutely no excuse whatsoever for this treatment! In all honesty, his staff has always been professional and experienced in what they do (front and back office), but currently, if this is an example of how his office is being represented, I cannot recommend him at all. I am just speechless in his decision to prioritize his holiday schedule versus actually making a return call to a long-time patient is appalling! This is cause for concern especially should an emergency arise (one would now wonder what would take precedence over a dental emergency?). This individual he has entrusted with patient accounts and insurance claims becomes questionable to say the least and I think one should take this into consideration when choosing a dentist. read more

I went to Dr. Henneberry for help with a problem area behind my lower back molars. About 6 years ago his office treated this area and I have been free from problems since then. It's a difficult area to reach, my back teeth are crowded back there and I have a bit of an infection going that I am desperate to have cleared. After the cleaning, Dr. Henneberry's office said that there are a couple other areas that need a deep cleaning, and since they are only minor, my insurance office won't cover those costs. My insurance said that the 4mm would be an area to watch, but most definitely would not need a major deep clean. I did not budget for these recommendations totaling over $200, and I asked the dentist if he could please take care of the covered areas now to give me relief. I could take care of the rest if needed on my next checkup in 6 months. He refused... basically told me that I need to pay for his recommendations that are not considered serious at all to me or my insurance... or he would not take care of my serious problem at all. This screams to me as a dentist who feels 'under-paid' by the insurance company and has developed a practice of deceit in order to bill enough to pay his lease each month. (Nice new office, btw.) I really needed help, but instead the treatment QUOTE was more important than the client's CARE. I have always found that by taking good care of your customers, the profits will always come. I'm sure that anyone who has basic needs or is willing and able to pay for all of his recommendations will have a very pleasant experience in his office. Just don't try to negotiate about your own care and you should be fine. Maybe since he has moved to a nicer office, he has also had to increase his income... I'm not sure, but I am terribly saddened that they were willing to leave me like this instead of doing the right thing. read more

I am writing this to let you know how unprofessional and unethical is Dr. Henneberry as a dentist and how he refused to do any examination or provide any treatment to me. He doesn't have any concern of his patient. I went to Dr. Henneberry office on July 16th, 2015 for my follow up examination of my two front lower teeth root canals and also for my preventive care check up. To begin with he did not even have courtesy to return greetings when I said 'Hello' to him. In April of 2014, Dr. Henneberry recommended two root canal treatments for my two lower teeth. He did the procedure on two teeth on a Thursday morning (November 13, 2014) and even after my apprehensions on possible pain and my repeated requests, he did not prescribe any antibiotics. An unbearable tooth pain with high body temperature started the same night and continued throughout the weekend. Dr. Henneberry did not bother to respond to my phone calls or my voice messages over weekend. On Monday morning, when I visited him, he said that I had developed infection in my tooth and then prescribed antibiotics. I had to suffer a lot for 4 days just because of his carelessness. He got paid around $1000 for this kind of service from my insurance and I paid around $300 as out of pocket expense. Even after clearing all the dues before leaving is office, he kept on sending me a pending bill for $35. I reluctantly visited him again to get my follow up examination of my tooth, just because he had done my root canal procedure earlier. Upon arriving, I inquired about that $35 pending bill to his secretary. His secretary said that the pending bill was for my oral examination. When I pointed out the fact that I had already cleared all the bills, his secretary was very adamant and did not acknowledge the fact or listened to my concerns on the issue. Meantime, Dr. Henneberry came at the front desk and instead of asking about my tooth, he started to argue with me and shouted to leave his office at that moment. He even said that he will not do my examination and provide any other service. I felt so humiliated, helpless and scared with his ugly words. Unfortunately I was alone and there were no other patients there to witness this situation at that time and also I did not record this because I never imagined this coming for me at a dentist office. I went to his office with a sole intention of getting examination on my tooth and not to get humiliated or argue with him. I never dreamed that a doctor (Dr. Henneberry's) would behave in such an unacceptable manner with any patients. I myself a civil professional engineer, I completely understand and respect the professional ethics. But the behavior of Dr. Henneberry's was totally unprofessional, rude and unethical. He does not care for patient's health. I pray to God to keep me away from such as inhuman person in future. read more

I have seen Dr. Henneberry for a number of years now and really love his practice and the staff. I have been to a number of dentists in the past, and Dr. Henneberry's office definitely stands out from the crowd in the best way. His staff is really kind and attentive, and knows what they are doing. The office is always on time, which is a major plus. I've had most of my metal fillings redone with tooth-colored fillings by Dr. Henneberry, and they look and feel great. Cristina is my hygienist and I appreciate that we've developed a relationship where she knows my teeth better than I do! My family and I have been seeing Dr. Henneberry for a couple of years now. We couldn't be happier. I've always been kind of a chicken about the dentist but really don't mind going now. Dr. Henneberry is very gentle and very patient. He did a couple of fillings for me last week and I didn't feel the shot! Really! I wouldn't have believed it if my lip didn't start getting numb. I've seen Dr. Henneberry for just over a year now and I can say without hesitation that he (and his staff!) are some of the most professional, courteous and friendly people you'll ever meet. I've been to his office several times for cleanings and fillings and have always had a great experience (yes, that's possible at a dentist!). I do the best I can to take care of my teeth, but I'm not perfect (I could stand to floss more regularly). Despite this, Dr. Henneberry and his staff are never pushy or rude. They genuinely care about my teeth and give me personalized advice each time I've seen them. They have a nice office, complete with flat panel TVs that swivel so that you can watch something to distract you during your visit. On one occasion, I asked them if I could watch a show and they put the TV literally right in front of me while I was reclined. I watched an entire 30 minute show and barely noticed the filling they put in. Amazing. Ultimately, I think the vast majority of patients that have visited this dentist would agree that he is an excellent dentist and genuinely cares about his patients (his Yelp reviews indicate as much). I, for one, am happy to have found such an amazing office with staff that are friendly, courteous, professional, and make the bi-annual visit to their office one I actually look forward to! read more
