This is one of those unusual practices where the doctors are not only top notch but the way they treat their patients is outstanding. I initially had a consultation with Dr. (Mark) Holt and instantly felt the high competence and lack of arrogance. I never felt unheard. I wanted to give a shout-out to Tiffany and Shelly at Holt Orthodontics for their above and beyond customer service. My grandson had his first visit to with Dr. Mark Holt on Monday, 6/20. They put spacers in and he is scheduled to get his braces next Wednesday, 6/29. I decided I should get him in for his regular dental exam and cleaning prior to getting braces. Wouldn't you know it, he had a couple of cavities right where the spacers were. We finished at the dental office at 4:20 p.m. so I called Dr. Holt's office to see if there was any way someone could stay past 4:30 to put the spacers back in and sure enough Tiffany and Shelly both waited for us. This saved me the time and gas $$$ of having to take him to their Roseville office today to get the spacers put back in. I was an Invisalign patient of Dr. Mark Holt about 15 years ago. My soon-to-be 40-year-old daughter just finished her Invisalign treatment with Dr. Holt a month or so ago. The customer service at all of his locations is exceptional. My permanent retainer came loose. It was installed over 20 years ago out of state so I couldn't get it repaired by the installer. I called around other orthodontist and they would not help me, they would only install a removable retainer. I have one of those and my teeth really shifted so I really wanted to keep my retainer. Everyone was very nice, from the person who answered my initial call, to the X-ray person and the cemented, and the Orthodontics him self. I would recommend this place to everyone. read more

Amazing and kind staff. The moment I walked in I was greeted by two very kind women. They were very quick and efficient with check in. I was then immediately brought back for X-rays by two other very friendly ladies. I met with the doctor and the Invisalign specialist with no wait time. Shayna wrote negative things about me in emails and sent them to me. Actually the reason I did not complete my treatment with you was very poor response times and client treatment by your patient coordinator, Shayna, and dishonest dealings on your part. I had a consultation and we agreed on a treatment plan and price. I scheduled an appointment based on this information. 27 days after I communicated with your patient coordinator, Shayna, and scheduled my appointment, I received an email that NOW I needed a whole new round of treatment and the costs were going to change significantly. I was also told I should get a second opinion. That was almost a month of wasted time that could have been prevented. Overall poor client treatment, slow response times and dishonest dealings. read more

My family has been going to Holt Orthodontist for my older son braces and now my younger son is getting his braces on. We've had a great experience with the treatment that we decided to have our younger sons braces put on here as well. Regretting our decision to have Dr. Holt as our sons orthodontist. While the care is adequate, we are unable to obtain appointments during non school hours. I specifically asked a couple of times before we signed the contracts if they could accommodate after school appointments. We were repeatedly told yes. Five appointments later and still can't get in after school. I scheduled out an appointment for two months so I could take my son after school but was told may not be able to keep it :( read more

We've been putting off this decision for a long time. I am so happy we decided to go with Dr Holt. It was so easy. We called on Tuesday and my daughter was in a chair getting her braces started on Wednesday morning. Amazing service. The office staff spent a lot of time with us making sure she was comfortable and reviewed (in great detail) the cost, insurance coverage, etc... with me. They also went over the pros and cons of Invisalign vs. traditional braces and gave my daughter and me ample time to choose which would work best for her. PS... Their office is amazing and super clean and organized. They gave my daughter an electric Oral B toothbrush and a fun t-shirt she can wear to each visit to earn points for their reward program. Dr. Holt & his AMAZING Team are The Best In the Industry! My 1st experience was with my daughter. I had visited 2 other Ortho's in the area. Several factors had us choose Dr. Holt's office. Of course cost is a BIG one, however you want the Doctor AND his Team to be up to speed on the latest & greatest in their field. My daughter was put in braces & quoted 18 to 22 months. Her smile was GORGEOUS in 19 months! (Wear your rubber bands!). A true testament is, I decided to get braces, NEXT! I Always wanted to have straight teeth with a smile I did not cover! My son was after me & will be done in 2 months. The office staff HAS to be considered a huge part! We truly felt like family. They Knew us by name, always got us in if something needed to be fixed. Location, Location! Close to my kids schools, so easy to avoid missing class time. I have one kiddo left ;). He will become part of The Holt experience this year! At 61, my regular dentist said I could do with some teeth straightening and she recommended Dr. Holt's office. I always thought this was a young person's experience so I was hesitant. After all, what would I, at 61 need perfect teeth for? But I ended up going and I couldn't have had a better experience. Everyone on the staff and I mean everyone were so friendly and caring. They all looked like they actually loved working there. And then I met Dr. Holt. Yes, his office is very sports oriented, but being a Kings fan, he remembered me and we have had many conversations about our team. I'm so happy he was able to incorporate both his passions into one. At various times, I consulted with Dr. Annello and the younger Dr. Holt. Both had the same caring attitude. In two weeks I will have the perfect set of teeth and have Dr. Holt to thank for that. While getting older results in other ills and ailments, I know I will have perfect teeth! read more

Since when is having a sense of humor bad? Dr. Kilmer has a great bedside manner, his office is cheerful and makes what could be a painful experience-fun! At most Doc. offices you have to wait until your ready to walk out, but not at Dr. Kilmer's, his office runs like clockwork, and the staff treats you like an old friend. It is virtually impossible to get an appointment before or after school. This was the first question I asked before I decided on their office and was re-assured they have morning and afternoon appointments. This is not the case at all! When I said I would wait an additional month for a re-check appointment they acted like they were doing me a favor by booking a 3:30 appointment. I will not be going back here with my other two children who will probably need braces as well! read more

I started years ago with Dr. Kilmer whose office staff and environment was welcoming and friendly, and who was personable and competent. I got great care under him and when he passed on his practice to Dr. Holt, I continued with this office. I have seen Dr. Holt 3x for retainer follow up and he is very friendly and good about making sure that my retainers work for me. The office staff and orthodontic staff are all very friendly, and the front staff always greet me on the phone or in person with courtesy and jokes. They make the environment pleasant and relaxing. Mary, the front staff person there since I started, remembers me and makes sure to greet me and chat a bit. The decor is sport spectator driven, which is not to my taste, BUT other than very uncomfy stadium seats, it is a theme. I would definitely recommend this office and Dr. Holt for orthodontia care. They are very competent and reasonable. read more
