My original orthodontist was no longer in business, so I checked Yelp to find a good orthodontist nearby -- and Lucas Orthodontics had great reviews. Making an appointment was easy, and the staff were welcoming and professional. The technician who helped me was friendly and efficient, and the whole process went very smoothly. After taking photos of my teeth, they scheduled my follow-up appointment to pick up the new retainer for the following week. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Getting braces as an adult is no joke! I promised my youngest I'd go through it with her since she was nervous--and somehow I ended up wearing them the longest. Dr Lucas is very compassionate, as a person and as a doctor. He has great experience, is truly patient, and non-judgemental, I tried Invisalign, however I could not keep up with the maintenance, and he and his staff spent a lot of time on me during my Invisalign treatment. Even so, they were positive and encouraging to me the whole time. I ended up asking to stop Invisalign, Dr. said no problem and was super flexible as to when I wanted to begin treatment again, he returned my calls to discuss options, without me having to go in the office. He really cares, even for someone who took up so much of his and the staff's time. Wow. We decided to switch over to regular braces, and it was such an easy process, no problem at all He has outstanding bedside manner, I am beyond impressed about his caring demeanor. Many professionals do not have even half of his patience and understanding. No wonder he is so successful in his practice. Of course, I will recommend his office to all, and bring my children when they are old enough. His staff is outstanding. Every single one of them have good expertise, personality, patience, and respect. I was using Byte for 2 years before it was time for me to give up and switch to an orthodontist with actual doctors. When I got to Lucas Orthodontics, I was exasperated and tired of going through useless aligners, I just wanted my teeth fixed. Dr. Lucas and his team has been very nice, gracious and encouraging throughout the entire process. They take x-rays after each set is completed. They added attachments and used this "saw" type of paper to get in between my teeth. Their aligners actually work and I see positive changes in my teeth! These are all things Byte could not do. I may sound salty here and this is out of frustration from working with Byte. Rest assured, the Lucas Orthodontics team has provided excellent service throughout the six months I've been in their care. I'm excited to continue my treatment with them and come out of this treatment with perfect teeth. Thanks! read more

My kid thinks they're great which should mean a lot for an orthodontist! They have lots of fun things to do in the lobby and slushies available afterwards. They even had a very fun fall festival with pizza, gelato, a bounce house, prizes and more. Difficult to find appointment times. Most available appointments are during school hours (middle of the day). Considering the majority are school children this appears off. This is our first experience with braces, their was no discussion with how often the brackets come off despite my daughters hard work to not eat certain foods (several returns for brackets within the first year).
