This is very nice clean and well maintained place for your loved ones. There nice lots and lawns and everything is very clean and well kept.

Horrible maintenance graves were unrecognizable in just a few weeks. Unacceptable.. No grave deserves to be left like that by management. It seems like someone was buried a few feet away. No regard for the condition of the graves.

Pretty much my entire maternal side of the family is buried here. It goes all the way to my Great Great Grandmother. The most recent of family to be buried here is my aunt. We had an out door funeral with her casket closed and all of the flowers surrounding her. They provided an awning & chairs for our family and friends. A woman who came to give her respects said the cemetary was being built when the WWII soldiers were coming home. As a child she thought it was a park and her and her friends would run around and play. In the winter the grass is slightly browner. I've been when the lawns are a very bright lush green. At the end of the funeral they kind of dropped the ball and the main guy disappeared when we wanted to lower the casket in the ground. My grandma gave him an earful. It wouldn't be a family event without my grandma giving someone an earful. I think my great grandma bought multiple plots for herself, husband and their 4 kids plus a spot for their future spouses. She did this years and years ago. As the years have gone on some of the spots have been used already. My aunts husband was cremated and his ashes were taken by his family. So we have a few extra spots. If you're thinking of a burial in your future it may be well worth the forethought to buy ahead. It makes it so much easier on your family to not have to deal with it at the time of a sad death in your family. It's a lovely place for family, for what it's here for.

Unacceptable!!

All of the headstones that I visited and walked by were clean, and the grounds were free of debris. There had been a dead tree stump near my mother's grave for years and it had been removed. Additionally, I was happy to see the grounds people working on maintaining the sprinkler system. I was at peace knowing that someone cared enough to maintain my loved ones final resting place. Please continue the good work. Brandon E.

There is NOTHING to indicate to ANYONE, ANYWHERE that he is buried where he is. My father is in an UNMARKED GRAVE, yet now in May of 2026, I find out that they "don't know what happened" to the paperwork order for my father's headstone. This is the email response of a "memorial specialist" by the way. This is how she replies in regards to highly sensitive topics that include death of family members. I still haven't heard anything back from Greenwood Memory Lawn. I suppose I don't have a choice, but must call and do it all myself. Do. Not. Choose. This. Place. This place is a soulless, irresponsible, absolutely neglectful place and they do not care one bit about your loss or your grief or the sanctity of burying loved ones.

From the very beginning, their team treated our family with professionalism, compassion, and genuine kindness. I would like to acknowledge the staff who supported us, Tabitha, an African American woman, a Hispanic woman, and an African American man. Each of them showed patience, respect, and professionalism while assisting our family. Their kindness did not go unnoticed. I understand that working in this field can be emotionally demanding. Funeral homes interact with grieving families every day, often during some of the most painful moments of their lives. Despite that, this team remained calm, supportive, and compassionate throughout the entire process. They truly showed us grace and care during a time when we needed it the most. Antonio was very close to me I helped raise him from the time he was 10 years old, so seeing him there broke me to my core. The staff checked on us, offered comfort, and made sure we felt supported. I truly felt the love and care they extended to our family. I cannot thank them enough for the way they helped us navigate such a heartbreaking situation. If you are ever in need of funeral services, I would recommend this funeral home. Please remember that the people who work there are helping families through deep grief every day, so showing them a little grace and patience means a lot. Thank you again to Tabitha and the entire team for your kindness and professionalism during one of the hardest moments our family has faced. Sorry for getting on yall nerves with questions. -Milton Stone

I had to purchase a gravestone / headstone for my sister's funeral plot and researched, researched,…read moreresearched because these types of places don't get reviewed to often and there is no way to know the quality of the business your dealing with. I actually looked on yelp, at the time, but there was nothing - which really surprised me. Also, I didn't even know that gravestones were actually called monuments, which made finding a place to purchase one even more difficult. I could have purchased a gravestone directly from the cemetery but it would have been a generic assembly line design gravestone and I wanted something more personalized and pretty. The cemetery will give you specifications and guidelines for your headstone and as long as you follow their guidelines, you can get the headstone from anywhere and can design it how you like - the cemetery that I purchased a plot from required certain dimensions and the gravestone had to have a cross on it among other things. I found this place through an online yellow page website and I drove down there. It's a very mom and pop place. It's a small space and they make headstones - so, yeah - it's not fancy but they are good at what they do - just make sure you have the lady help you!! The lady I dealt with was beyond helpful and nice. She spent a good amount of time working with us and making the gravestone monument just right. She really went above and beyond what she needed to do. She helped us come up with a great layout with etched in designs of small butterflies, hearts, a precious moments praying angel, a really pretty cross, and a mix of script and standard lettering with-in the etched in outline. She was also able to order a small four inch weather proof photo plague of a photo of my sister and her little dog, which she incorporated into the design of the gravestone. It sounds like a lot of things to put onto a gravestone but the different things were small and well placed and fit the size of the grave marker just right. She really helped us to create something beautiful and we love how it turned out and I think my sister would have liked it too. She let me choose the specific stone that the gravestone would be carved out of. They have lots of different colors and stone variations in a big fenced in stone quarry area. So.... when I chose the stone slab I wanted, it was the exact stone that was used to make the gravestone - not some variation of the stone I choose. There was also a guy working there as well, but she was much nicer to work with and went out of her way to help us. I highly suggest that you ask to work with her. The cost to have the gravestone done independently (not through the cemetery) was a little less than what the cemetery was charging for a very basic one. This yelp review is long over due but a good business is a good business and I'm really happy that I was able to find this place.

My grandmother passed away on April 26th and prior to her passing, I did extensive research on funeral homes and mortuaries within the valley. I read hundreds of reviews and made many calls and Hansen just felt right. We selected Hansen to be who we would use when the need arose. A few weeks later, my grandmother peacefully slipped away. Her hospice team made contact with Hansen Desert Hills and the process was seamless and professional. Two days after her passing, we went to the Desert Hills location to make arrangements with Cami. Nothing felt pressured or sales-driven, as we had experienced years prior at another funeral home when my grandfather passed away. We had many variables at play, including a burial trust and plans for an out of state interment, and Cami navigated everything perfectly and expertly. We also interacted with Charlii the receptionist during this process and she was wonderful as well. We picked my grandmother's remains up the following week and had a lovely walk through Hansen's memorial garden. It was all very peaceful and again, just felt right. I'm sorry if you have a need for a mortuary, but Hansen took great care of us.
