My father is in an UNMARKED GRAVE, yet now in May of 2026, I find out that they "don't know what happened" to the paperwork order for my father's headstone. This is the email response of a "memorial specialist" by the way. This is how she replies in regards to highly sensitive topics that include death of family members. I still haven't heard anything back from Greenwood Memory Lawn. I suppose I don't have a choice, but must call and do it all myself. Do. Not. Choose. This. Place. This place is a soulless, irresponsible, absolutely neglectful place and they do not care one bit about your loss or your grief or the sanctity of burying loved ones.

She told me I could have an appointment 6 days after my Mom passed, and I kept telling her I didn't need an appointment as I already had a contract. She was so rude and made me cry (not out of sadness, but out of rudeness). Finally spoke with the funeral director and she was just as rude. Ended up moving my Mom's body to another funeral home who were wonderful and had all arrangements done within three days (unlike the 4 days I would have to wait for just an appointment). My grandmother passed away on April 26th and prior to her passing, I did extensive research on funeral homes and mortuaries within the valley. I read hundreds of reviews and made many calls and Hansen just felt right. We selected Hansen to be who we would use when the need arose. A few weeks later, my grandmother peacefully slipped away. Her hospice team made contact with Hansen Desert Hills and the process was seamless and professional. Two days after her passing, we went to the Desert Hills location to make arrangements with Cami. Nothing felt pressured or sales-driven, as we had experienced years prior at another funeral home when my grandfather passed away. We had many variables at play, including a burial trust and plans for an out of state interment, and Cami navigated everything perfectly and expertly. We also interacted with Charlii the receptionist during this process and she was wonderful as well. We picked my grandmother's remains up the following week and had a lovely walk through Hansen's memorial garden. It was all very peaceful and again, just felt right. Posting this for my stepmom…read more..... My husband's wish was to have me accompany him on his last walk which I was glad to do. I have to preface this with information we were given four years ago by the mortuary that provided services for our son. At that time my husband was strongly discouraged from being there when our son was cremated. He was told it was dirty and smelled bad. My husband was not told when our son's body was moved to be cremated so he could not even follow the vehicle. This lay forever heavy on my husband heart. I was greeted by Sean who told me to enter through the door, that there were tissues and water, and to take all the time I needed. Entering I noticed how clean and clutter free the room was. There was no smell of any kind. After saying my last goodbye and having Sean come in, he was surprised to hear that I wanted to stay and see my husband enter the cremation chamber. But I had made a promise. After this being completed I spoke with Sean. He is a sincere young man who takes his profession serious and the service he provides is not something just anyone can do. He was mindful and respectful of my husband's body which was such a great comfort to me. Sean struck me as a compassionate person which made this last walk so much easier. Thank you Sean! Heather emailed all paperwork and answered several of my calls, always courteous and sweet. There was no rush or annoyance with my unending questions.
