Our Mom passed away recently and the hospice agency picked up this place for us. The service was within expectations and the matters were handled appropriately and respectfully. Two things...after all the proper choices were add and services paid, we were allowed to see our Mom one last time. The body presentation was very poor and we were not prepared to see what we saw, no need to go into details. I think the sales person should have prepared us regarding the optics we were about to face. It was going to be the last picture of her in our minds. This poor presentation left me with a bitter taste to say the least, families need to be prepared. The other thing I wish to mention is that the box where the cremation was placed, not the urn, but the carton box had someone else last name written and crossed out. We didn't notice until we got home. We certainly hope that those are my Mom's remaining and not someone else. Thank you.

The chapel was beautiful, I blurred out some parts of the photo for obvious reasons.

There is a reason why the word Best is in the name Best Funeral Services & Chapel. They truly are the best. My father died unexpectedly and I didn't have any experience in funeral homes. After meeting with a large funeral home chain, I knew that wasn't the direction I wanted to go. I found Best Funeral Services online and that same day I was able to meet with Julia Ramirez. Their packages were simple and very straightforward. No hidden fees like the other funeral home. Julia was very empathetic, professional and sweet during the entire planning process. I highly recommend her, she is like a friend a friend to me now. Their prices were also about 40% cheaper than the big funeral chains. I recommend to skip over the big chains and go straight to Best Funeral Services, and I found out that Best is also family owned. Their employees are wonderful and professional, the chapel is beautiful and there isn't any pressure. This is what you need when you are dealing with an unexpected death in the family. --Andrea

Reasonable prices, no pressure to spend more money and the people in charge were helpful, compassionate and friendly.

My mother had passed too young at the age of 56 and it left my father and myself obviously shell shocked.

My dad was so comforted by the way they cared for her that he told us he wanted to be cremated there as well when his time came. When we recently lost him, we handled everything over the phone, and even from a distance the staff's kindness came through clearly. They were patient, understanding, and incredibly respectful throughout the entire process. Every conversation felt personal, never rushed, and they made sure we understood each step. Even without walking through their doors, we felt supported and cared for. What meant the most was how consistent their compassion was -- years apart, for both of my parents. They treated our family with genuine warmth and professionalism, and it brought real comfort during two of the hardest moments of our lives. I'm deeply grateful for the care they provided, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a funeral home that truly understands how to support families with dignity and kindness.

We too, looked at reviews before choosing. The disheartening thing is the way our viewing was handled. The viewing area is by no means adequate or private. The front desk and employees sat in the same room while we had distressed family members in tears and disbelief that my son was gone. The ladies continued to type on keyboards and move around, it was distracting and it felt, disrespectful. The room had closets open and stretchers viewable, boxes and things stacked around the room. The cover that was placed on my son was tattered and a blue material that was very well used and not appropriate. There was nothing comforting there at all. There were used water bottles on the tables and trash left behind. No music, nothing to mask the smells that went straight to my heart when I was close to my son. Upon returning to get my sons ashes they were brought into this same room again, while another family was viewing and in the center of the room. The lady walked over to a counter behind the decedent and gathered the box of ashes for my daughter and my sons father. The other family was in dismay at this, as was my daughter. She kept apologizing to the family for the intrusion. The room is quite old and there was just absolutely nothing about this experience that I can recommend. It was all very sad. Professionalism at a time like this would have been appreciated. We all left feeling very uneasy and sad that my son was placed in their care. Kristy was very sweet and very helpful and that is my only kind comment. The two woman that typed and texted through our viewing and sadness have no idea how disrespected we felt. I will, we will never forget this. Not recommended.

I have worked in Sales and trust me, the previous funeral homes we visited prior to Red Mountain Funeral Home either had a sales pitch or just did not feel right for us. McClain was very empathetic in this time of need. He listened to us and gave us the options based on what we discussed. Never did he upsell anything. He heard exactly what we wanted and matched up the service they could offer us. In our particular situation we had to have an intimate family viewing prior to the cremation process. It was amazing how they made my sister look as she was napping while we made our last goodbye! I truly appreciate RMFH for giving us the best farewell to baby sis I could have had! RIP Barbie Gonzalez, I LOVE YOU!!! You will never be forgotten and you'll always be part of the family's story!!! When we are born, we are born into a race called life. In life we never have a set starting point and our finish line is always different from person to person. At a very early age we always pit ourselves with others we respect or we want to be like or a legend who is no longer in the race. We never are told the rules of the race. While being green in this race we sometimes are taken advantage of and learn right away or make the same mistake a few times before we learn. While others may have more shelter and are not allowed to learn the rules of life until much later down the road. Throughout this race we see others who are struggling. Some of us are out here to help from the get while others are more tentative to help or arrogant and refuse to help. These are all part of our race and learn the playbook as we go. Throughout this marathon we learn from the miles we put in and make the tweaks to become smarter/efficient! Some are quicker than others at becoming smarter/efficient and some learn at a later stage of the race. This race is hard and we somehow push through to continue racking up our miles. Maybe some quit the race and are not seen again. As we encounter the entire spectrum of feeling we advance on this race, some of us are lucky to either find the "family" we want to surround ourselves with or even luckier yet have the family that we want to be around! Once we have our family and fellow racers in our pack, we race until we can no longer race! Some of us will know as we approach the finish line while others are snatched away from the race without notice. In your personal race, I beg you to acknowledge what and who you care for and let them know! This sometimes beautiful cruel race absorbs us without our knowledge and we do not give praise soon enough!

There's only so much that you can really say about a cemetery/funeral home, right?…read more Well..... The grounds are well kept, there is plenty of parking, and most of the staff is very compassionate and friendly. I will mention that one receptionist in particular was very rude to my mother when we arrived. My Mom began to make her way toward the service we were attending and the woman at the front desk was very snippy with my Mom and told her not to go near the room where the service was being held. She said "It's not ready yet, the family is still setting up!!" My mom asked if she could just sit on the chairs outside the chapel and wait for them to finish setting up, the lady said "NO" with lots of attitude and frustration. I was completely beside myself on that type of behavior! So we sat in the front lobby on the chairs provided. There are 4 chairs in the main lobby, which suited our needs. Just when I thought I had already seen it all, the same woman gets up from her desk and storms over to the chapel area where the service would be held.... Muttering under her breath, walking briskly, and pulls the doors closed... Then continues back to her desk to sit down. I'm not sure if this is her normal behavior, but it could be argued that her personality type doesn't exactly jive with the typical crowd that attend a funeral home.... They also offer water bottles to guests & have a snack machine in the lobby. There are several rooms available for funeral services, which are spacious and comfortable. I will say that I was surprised to see that the pews are not bolted into the floor... I used the back of the pew to help myself up after a service & it disturbed the bench in front of me... That was embarrassing. All in all, the place is exactly what you'd expect. Aside from the rude woman that greets you as you enter the building. We have many relatives that are buried here & others that have been cremated. Aside from Fridays experience, I have never had a complaint about my encounters here.
