This entire experience was exceptional! From enrollment years ago to having my loved one cremated it has been 5-star service. Everyone is caring and respectful, not only of those of us left behind, but also of the deceased. I also own a plan for myself and am confident that my family will be just as satisfied when I am deceased. Thanks!! Deb N. read more

My appointment was with Matt Lawrey. He was very thorough and clear in his information. I was very impressed with the service provided by the Neptune Society and National Cremation Service. My goal was to make dealing with my future death easy for my family and to have my wishes handled to my satisfaction and I feel I have accomplished this with Matt's help. read more

service is ok if you want the very bottom line, service you get ashes in a tied plastic bag . when my dog passed i had her cremated through the animal hospital she was returned to me in sealed plastic bad in purple pouch and a oak box much better service than national cremation so my opinion on national cremation is 2 star if that read more

About a year and a half ago my husband and I purchased a National Cremation Society package for our mom and the two of us as well. We did not know at that time how quickly my mom's dementia would take her out. First, having everything ready and waiting for us to just make a phone call was a blessing. Secondly, I can't say enough good things about the people with whom we have had helping us. Sarah Wilkin has been calming, knowledgeable, and understand. We could not expect anyone to give us better and more caring service than we have received for National Cremation Society. read more

I have been Totally satisfied 100% with the National Cremation Society office here in Arizona. When dealing with their employees here, they made it easy for me to sign up with the company and they have answered all my questions thereafter to my greater satisfaction. I could not possibly be more satisfied myself as the client. If there was 10 Star rating, they would get that from this client. read more

Extremely helpful setting up the service prior to our mother's death, arranging things, and escalating with the county. thanks. read more

After going to a seminar I signed up, only because they gave you 30 days to rescind. Right off the bat, there was trouble with customer service. They processed the credit card right away, contrary to what we were told. This contract started 2-28 and as of 4-11, I am still waiting for my refund to be credited to my credit card. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone . read more

Year 2022 turned out to be the year both of my parents passed on their way to meet our Lord and past loved ones. Sudden or tragic, long term illness or brief and quick both times the Cremation Society has been there to guide me every step of the way and make the process an effortless event taking care of Everything. I am most grateful for their caring and compassionate way they handle the situation knowing there is the pain of separation. If you are considering cremation as my family has, then please consider the Cremation Society to handle things in your time of need. A special heart felt thank you to Mary Malphurs the Services Manager whom I dealt with. May the Lord bless you and keep you always! This review may appear twice, because my intention was to give 5 star rating but when I submitted, it appeared to have switched to only 3 stars. Cremation Society is definitely a 5 Star Service Company. They're awesome!!! read more

My mother purchased their services so when it came time to use them, it was a simple matter of calling them up and giving her name. We met with their representative to arrange final details. He provided some helpful ideas on our unique situation. I posted an online obituary on their website. I discovered a couple of additions I wanted to make after the posting which he generously added. It was very helpful to have a dynamic obituary and one where we could write a fairly long obituary too. read more

John and Elizabeth were so incredibly helpful! Their calm, peaceful demeanors really helped ease my anxiety in the trying times. Covid really backed things up, but they called or texted to assure me I was not forgotten. We had already made arrangements with the National Cremation Society before my husband passed away and they were very professional when they came to get his body. The toughest time in my families lives with the unexpected passing of our Patriarch was made much easier because of Linda and National Cremation Society. Linda was able to walk and talk us through our options in a very courteous way. She and the team were very supportive of our desires and ensured we were able to feel comfortable and as positive as we can given the circumstances of losing our rock in my father. My family and I are very grateful for having Linda and the team on our side. Linda continues to be of support in checking in with my family 1 year later. Thank you Linda Sincerely The Freeman family read more

My wife died suddenly 3 years ago after a surgery. My son in law found National Cremation Society after first calling 2 other places that made him feel like he was dealing with a used car salesman. National Cremation Society was first rate in every way. Last January my late wife's 101 year old mother died and I did not think twice. I called National Cremation Society. No pressure, no pushy sales tactics. Just respectful and honest treatment. They take very good care of the client in the worst time of his life. Thank you, National Cremation Society read more

All of the people I dealt with (transport, clerical, & the funeral director Jeff) were wonderful, very caring people. All my questions were answered and I was kept informed during the process. The people and this company are amazing! The level of professionalism is wonderful. They were prompt and sensitive and completed everything on time at the price quoted. This is a no frills service and a low cost provider but nothing is lacking here at all. I highly recommend this company. Every detail was taken care of and I was informed all the way through. When I went to pick up my wife's remains we all hugged and cried together. You can't fake that folks. These people are the real deal. read more

First of all I am completely blown away that this company only had two stars. We received nothing but the most professional service and care when it came to picking out the urn and coordinating the cremation of my father-in-law, Wallace or "Pete" as we called him. We were from Chicago but had Pete in a great memory care facility in Scottsdale. He passed away in Arizona so everything with his cremation had to take place in Arizona. It was two days before Pete's memorial and we haven't received his remains. We spoke to a man named Jeff, who was wonderful. He said his remains were being sent to him tomorrow and that he will overnight them to us so they arrive in time for the funeral. Sure enough he did what was said. We received them the following day and he called to make sure that they arrived. Also, followed-up with a few more phone calls making sure that we received the urn and that everything went ok with the service. You can't beat that customer service. He was on top of everything and just went above and beyond to make sure that Pete made it back in time for his celebration of life. We cannot thank Jeff enough for his impeccable customer service. Thanks for making what was a hard and emotional few days less stressful. We cannot thank you enough! Sincerely, The Peterson Family from Chicago read more

Just my own personal experience with my father's passing. National Cremation did everything they said they would do at the cost that my father initially started with. Jeff was so amazing and helpful in attaining the death certificate and making sure of anything else he could do for us during a time when I didn't know which end was up! Thank you! In addition I just received noticed they donated a stuff bear in my Dad's name to a local charity for children in need. read more

My father in law passed five days before his 97th birthday in June. He was a sweet man and a second father to me. My wife and I were blessed to spend three hours with him in the locked down senior facility he lived in. Most families don't get that opportunity. National Cremation handled the process smoothly and with sensitity. This is the second time National Cremation worked with our family. The were also involved when my mother in law passed ten years ago. My wife and I signed a contract with National Cremamtion knowing our children will have the same caring help when we pass. read more

So happy with all the help I got from Jeff and Linda with the arrangements for my dad a year ago and now with the passing of my dear mom....They were very kind and caring and went out of their way to help me with everything that needed to be done. Neither one of my parents had life insurance nor did they plan ahead in the event of their death, all I knew was that they wanted to be Cremated, I was lucky that I happened to come into National cremation Society to check them out. From the moment I came in I was taken care of and felt at ease , I just want to thank Jeff and Linda for all their help and for their kindness in my time of need. read more

When my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease 2011, I know I had to face that end was inevitable. We had both decided on cremation several years before. After he had his second severe stroke in 2013, he was transferred to an Alzheimer's care home, as I was no longer strong enough to care for him at home. I contacted the National Cremation Society that year, spoke to Lianne, and was assured there would be no additional costs other than what I agreed to pay. I signed both of us up. I did not want the burden of expenses to fall on our children at their time of grief. My husband passed away last month. The National Cremation Society handled the necessary procedures excellently. My only cost was to the county for death certificates. I highly recommend the company and urge facing the death of a loved one ahead of time, while one's mind is unfettered by grief. My boys both thanked me for preparing ahead. read more

Today I received a solicitation in the mail from you. On the envelope in large blue lettering were the words "Life is full of surprises..." When I opened the envelope I was shocked to see that it was from the National Cremation Society advising me on how I could get more information on there low-cost cremation services. "Surprises" usually means a happy occurrence like a birthday cake or a visit from your grandchildren. It should never mean that someone dropped dead. I think you need to take a serious look at your marketing techniques. I do actually believe that low-cost cremation is a very good choice, however this was not the way to get my attention. I was offended . read more

My husband and I decided to prepay for our Cremations. The presentation on Cremation was very informative and we feel we have done the right thing for ourselves and for our loved ones. We are looking at the nice wooden box as though it is a time capsule. We put pictures and other keepsakes in there from time to time. I know it's not something people like to think about but it's gonna happen so just do it. It covers transportation back to the states if you die while your traveling. That is a big international ordeal that you don't want your family to have to go through. We have cards in our wallets and our children just call the 800 number and they jump in and give them guidance. We didn't want a funeral just the Cremation services. read more

My husband and I sent in a post card offering information regarding the National Cremation Society. We received calls from a sales person. We were hoping for written information we could review prior to follow up. After several calls that had gone to voicemail, I answered and informed the sales person that we were hoping for written information and didn't generally take calls from solicitors. He began to yell at me on the phone, stating he'd been hired to make these calls and he had a family to support. I informed him that he'd lost a sale. read more

My wife and I live in Arizona. Yesterday, I received a promo in the mail addressed to my father. who has never lived in Arizona. Additionally, my father PASSED AWAY IN 2013!!!!! For them to address a letter soliciting business to my 5 years deceased father in his name as well as to an address with which he has never been associated (he lived 30+ years in Florida when he passed), words cannot fully describe their insensitivity!!!!! Not to mention how they can associate a 5 years deceased individual with an address that he has never lived. He passed away 4 years prior to my wife and me purchasing the residence to which they addressed the envelop! When contacted and explained their screw up, their customer service basically laughed about it!!! I requested to speak with someone in charge and was passed to a funeral director. This individual, Linda, basically stated "mistakes happen!" The only mistake is if anyone uses their service!!!!! Such insensitivity from a company that deals with individuals at their time of grieving for a lost loved one. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! read more

We have used this company twice before with amazing service, comfort and care. We used them this week and were severely disappointed. We paid and did all paperwork in advance to avoid having to deal with this in on the day my Father passed but the day after he passed they called and said that we had to drive 20 miles to the office to do paperwork AGAIN- we were charged 700$ extra for making advance arrangements then forced to repeat the steps. At the facility we were talking about the situation when the manager stepped out and told us that these thighs shouldn't have happened but she was busy and would call later. No call ever came. They need to get back to what made the, good years ago! read more
