Supporting families through the loss of a loved one requires the right fit and a special personality, as it means adapting to a wide range of emotions. After the hospital provided me with a long list of expensive options, I reached out and immediately received the best care, thoughtful advice, and support from a dedicated patient coordinator. As a grieving family member, you rarely have a moment to process your emotions--you're expected to step up and handle the many responsibilities that come with loss. This team made all the difficult decisions easier, eased the burden of expense, and gave me the choice to be shielded from minor details or kept informed about every step regarding my brother, even down to the day and time. That level of consideration was truly comforting. I am incredibly grateful for the special people who take care of our loved ones and who supported me through such a difficult time. read more

My brother passed away on April 10th at the VA hospital. Ashley was such a blessing. She arranged with the VA for my brother to be buried at the AZ National cemetery with a full honor guard. Her kind demeanor and compassion made working through this hard time much easier. She was available by phone and email with immediate response and also sent necessary links to the county records office. I highly recommend Accucare. Their prices and professionalism is exceptional. I just want order families to know this is the worse service ever. I couldn't believe seeing a loved one the way I did today. the makeup they charged so much to do was the absolute worse I've ever seen. You would think after all the money they charged they could have at least put her in a T-shirt. They literally didn't make no effort and left her in the hospital gown. No music to soothe the intense moment that was so difficult seeing a loved one just laying there. Please find another place for your loved one. read more

Quick shout out for Carmen Cozart and her staff at Accucare Cremation and Funerals. Must be a really tough job to do day in and day out. Like many people, I'm sure, the unexpected and violent death of my sister left me and family in emotional and mental turmoil. I had no resilience or reserve to deal with additional stresses of any kind. Carmen and her staff were very responsive, understanding, and compassionate from start to finish. If Carmen said she would get back to me about something, she always followed through. Obviously staying late to fulfil her promises sometimes. At times, the process experienced necessary delay's but these were always explained to me. Being able to anticipate delays decreased any frustrations and anxieties I really don't know how I could have gone through this process without the superb work of Carmen and staff. Thanks so much. I hope you all know you really did make a difference for me and family. You are all very much appreciated read more

It's no secret that losing the people you love is unbearable but when you add the frustrating tasks of making "arrangements" your time of mourning can quickly shift into a whole host of other terrible things. Scott took on all those terrible things for my family and made our time of grief a truly beautiful experience. I know that sounds strange but the time we got to spend with our uncle was so intimate and I'll never forget how easy he made things for us. Words don't really do it justice. Thank you Scott, you and your team have been a Godsend. read more

When our mother passed, I contacted several funeral homes including one of the oldest in scottsdale who had served our family's needs in the past. I was dissatisfied at the "May I take your order" approach from them and from other homes. If they offered condolences, which several did not, they appeared obligatory. Then I spoke with Scott at Accu Care. His genuine concern and sympathy was apparent. He assured us our expectations would be exceeded with their services. They were indeed. Thank you for everything. read more

August 26, 2018, we unexpectedly lost my spouse, lover, and mother of twin 34 year old girls. Although we live in Tempe, this funeral home was highly recommended to us. We met with Scott Wilson, who assured us she would be in good hands. The difficult process was made so easy by Scott, compassionate all the way. No up sell which I've encountered before at other homes. We did a simple cremation and did purchase 3 small personal urns for the 3 of us plus the standard plastic urn as we are planning to release her ashes at one of her favorite places. No delays, picked up documents and ashes yesterday. Scott, wonderful job you and your firm provided. Highly recommend you to anyone needing this service. The Judson/ Gradowski families. read more

I'd like to commend Accu-Care, and in particular, Scott Wilson, for their kind and considerate care as my family made our way through a very emotional time after my brother passed away recently. Scott explained all of our choices very carefully, all the charges and options available to us, and answered all our questions thoroughly. He made us feel at ease and there was absolutely no pressure to choose anything we didn't want. We had come from out of state and he accommodated our schedule and made time to meet with us on a weekend. That is service above and beyond in my book. Scott stayed in touch with us every step of the way and it has given us peace of mind to know that everything was being handled in a timely manner. Accu-Care and Scott made something we were dreading into a a stress-free process. read more

It is never easy to lose a loved one. My dad passed very quickly. Diagnosed on May 5th and passed on May 17th. With all the turmoil that my family was dealing with, Scott Wilson at Accu-Care made the process easy. He was the more compassion than I felt from some of the medical staff treating my dad. Accu-Care made my mom feel comfortable and even called to follow up on how she was doing after their services were completed. I would recommend this company to anyone. Their pricing and care for your loved ones will make you feel like you are dealing with family. Thank you. read more
