It takes a serious effort do burn pizza that bad with an electric oven! Seriously, it's hard would you want to do it on purpose. And, they basically have a dedicated employee that all he does is making pizza. I like the store. They offer a lot of service. Seriously a lot! They also have a LOT of people working there. And some are constantly busy taking care of customers and provide services, some other are -it seems to mee- just hanging around. Weird layout! Everything is quite expensive. Overall a great store to have in town. I ultimately stopped going as often. Very expensive, and things aren't necessarily the most fresh. Just the other time I ended up with an expired item in my bags. Now I need to spend half an hour to get the to return it?! read more

This is the best version of Publix I've ever visited. Awesome hot and cold bar with weekly specials depending on the the day of the week. The staff always has a smile on their face and ready to provide any help during your shopping experience. As a bonus there is a bar that hosts wine tastings and happy hours within the store as well. I found this to be a clean, cute market to browse while my car charged. They have several Tesla superchargers in their parking lot, and this was my entertainment while charging. It's kind of like a mash-up of Publix + The Fresh Market + Whole Foods. They have a nice upstairs seating area to work/study, and this is also where their restrooms are located. I snagged a few Pom Wonderful drinks (random deals I noticed) and snacks for the road. The store was clean and bright, very inviting. Most of the staff were polite. Their deli section (wraps, sandwiches, bars, etc.) looked scrumptious! I'd venture to say the next time I stop by I'll try something from there! read more

I love this grocery store! I am always greeted and assisted accordingly. The store is always clean and neat. I love the self service bar and the weekly deals such as sushi Wednesdays! They also have wine night on Thursdays. I remember going to greenwise around 9:40 AM and asking for a rotisserie chicken and an employee was nice enough to see if one was ready in the back. I will always stop by this place to see what's at the hot bar and try the fresh pre made meals. read more

Prices are up there but they have BOGOs What is the best thing about this place is you can get coffee and lunch like sushi or items from the hot bar or a sandwich and work upstairs if you need a place to escape. It sounds crazy but there is a good lounge area here that isn't very crowded. Reluctantly letting y'all know about this hidden gem. But they have tons of seatings. Couches, plugs, a TV. Fantastic grand opening. Plenty of associates to help with questions and give the low down on your preferences. This will store will be a welcome competitor with Whole Foods and Trader Joes. I really like having a GreenWise Market in Birmingham. I feel like all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Plus, the store is constantly sampling something. Be on the lookout for their events-- they routinely do wine sampling on Thursdays, free ice cream (maybe like 2/year), and have food specials such as $5 taco Tuesday. Also, their coffee/drinks station is pretty good and very decently priced. Shout out to Rebecca for her awesome customer service and patience every time we've gone. The prices are a bit higher because it's like Publix's version of Whole Foods, but their customer service is amazing and they often have BOGOs or coupons to help with the price. Also, fun to get a drink and walk around the other shops in the shopping center. read more

The store is nice but it's clearly not aimed at people who actually cook. It's long on prepared foods, frozen foods and wine but missing basics. I ran in looking to get ingredients to make chorizo tacos but they don't carry the sausage or cotija cheese. Literally every other grocery over the mountain has these staples. Otherwise the meat and seafood section was well stocked and the staff was pleasant. Honestly, the Pig, a few blocks away is a much better place for everyday shopping. read more

This store is not keeping the community safe by enforcing the mask ordinance, but is instead ignoring customers coming in the door without a mask on. We used to shop here every day and now won't return. If they cared about their own staff & the community they served they would enforce the ordinance! They even allow their staff to wear spit guards instead of CDC recommended cloth masks. Enough is enough. read more

I had no clue Publix had an organic version of their store called GreenWise Market. Publix is already one of the best grocery store shopping experiences in the country and it's even better at GreenWise. Everything is fully stocked and shiny lol. Loved the produce selection and the deli was an upgrade from their traditional locations. Also loved the health/beauty section with lots of vitamins, herbs and natural soaps etc. And the wine section is huge! read more

If you like shopping, or just interesting mixtures of places, Greenwise market is your kind of place. While a smaller grocery store there is lots of variety of organic and non gmo foods of course made in house foods you've got to try the Oreo popcorn Or the pork loin Cuban in the EATS experience. While the management are less of the type: customer satisfaction is everything, unlike the Floridian Greenwise markets this place is still a gem of Birmingham. Maybe you aren't looking to shop and just feel like playing bingo with friends and family or having a glass of wine, a full wine and beer bar is there for you in finds. read more

House made mozzarella and pizzas to buy per slice, olive bar, HUGE wine selection including cooler walk In. Bar inside here to try beer and wine in store as well. Beautiful store. Everything seemed in its place. Clean, elegant, good health conscious items, etc. With that being said, Greenwise is severely lacking in customer service. Compared to Publix, I am always greeted by someone. Here, I was not greeted by a single employee. Two employees were at the front of the store and looked us up and down and turned around without saying hello. It was odd, especially considering how customer focused Publix is and the fact the employees weren't doing anything. 7:00ish on a Wednesday and there were far more employees than customers. The place was very empty. With nothing to do, employees were just hanging out like we were. Maybe I'll give it another try one day, but I will stick with Publix. read more

This store is extremely confusing to find anything in and super expensive. They don't carry many of the things we needed and we were particularly disappointed in the selection of local products, or lack there if. Their deli seemed ok, however we were sad to see that there were no standard favorites like Publix chicken fingers or southern sides (they told us they were trying to be healthy, but not with all that pizza). However, we found our way to the Piggly Wiggly and found everything we needed. The wine and beer department is great (although pricy) and the staff is fantastic. I have high hopes it will become better and better! read more
