I realized this morning that I had forgotten to pack something. We had bought some awesome Advent calendars from ALDI to bring with us on the trip and left them at home. Dang it! Stopped here to see if they had any and nope, they've sold out. Still, this store is absolutely consistent with the ALDI brand and the same as every other store I've been to. Bring your quarter for the carts, bring your reusable shopping bags (or grab a box) and plan to repack your groceries yourself. Produce, commercial bread, dry and canned goods, dairy and deli, frozen and meats and seafood. This store has the same layout as the ALDIs I've visited this year in Neosho MO, Clermont FL, Plattsburgh NY and Lexington NC. Consistent and good. I absolutely love this location. They always have everything that I need. I go in there for certain items and they never disappoint. The staff is great and the lines go by really fast. The prices are amazing. I always remember to bring my reusable bags with me. I keep them in the trunk of my car. I also keep some quarters in my dashboard. This way, I don't ever forget either one of those. If you plan to frequently shop at Aldi, this may be a good thing to do. I always feel like I can shop in peace and I'm not overwhelmed my crowds of people. They have such a great selection, ranging from produce to breads to vegetables. I also go here to find everything that I need for charcuterie boards, because it is so much cheaper at Aldi. I know that some people hate the concept of having to bag your own items. However, for the deals that Aldi has, I don't mind at all. I think a lot of people also don't stop at the home isle (some people call it the Aldi Aisle of Shame) that they have with the seasonal finds. The stuff on this isle changes from time to time. However, I have found some really neat items on this isle. So I do encourage people to also browse this isle. Sometimes it can be a pain when they are renovating because you can't get to certain areas of the store. But other than that, they always have a good selection of items. read more

Letting friends with 3 items come behind your register to break line when other customers are lined up to the back of the store is a good way to lose those customers. One register on a Friday afternoon is shortsighted. read more

Aldi has become a part of my grocery shopping rotation. I love their produce and seafood. The prices are always fair and the selections are plentiful. Sometimes the checkout lines can be long but not unbearable. The staff is pleasant and helpful. This particular location is conveniently located off of Crestwood blvd , so its easy to get in and out. I really like coming here and saving as well! read more

You can always count on Aldi's to have great deals on fruits and veggies. However, you need to get there on truck day to ensure you get the freshest items. The most popular items tend to sell out quick. Their SimplyNature items are very good and affordable. I especially love the lightly salted popcorn. For $1.67 a bag, I can eat a healthy snack without breaking the bank. I also like their turkey kielbasa. Aldi's also sells seasonal home items such as grills, coolers, patio chairs, etc., at affordable prices. If you've never been to an Aldi's, you are missing a true treat. Check them out. Your wallet will thank you later. read more

I am so glad that I wrote my last review as a three star... let me explain my logic. I don't think any Aldi will ever be five stars in my book. As said in my previous review, any grocery store you go to that still requires you to go to another store to get all you need, is just inconvenient. But the reason I say I'm glad it was three and not four stars is because this Aldi went up at least one more star after the renovation. First, how can you pass up some of those prices?!? I mean, $10 for a dozen scallops! $13 for an ENTIRE half of a salmon!! The prices really can be beat. And some of their products I actually like more than some stores. But now the shopping experience is 100x better!! The have brand new carts that actually have two kid seats. That is a game changer when you have twins you want to take to the store. And the inside is also really nice. The layout is far more wide open and easier to navigate. The shelving and wall decor is a vast improvement over what is was too. They really did this renovation right! But still a four star overall. read more

They physically block all paths to the exit. If they don't have the things you went in for and you decide you want leave without buying anything, you either have to wait through a checkout line anyway or squeeze past everyone in line (during a pandemic by the way). Surely this violates fire department regulations too, making the only possible exit for an entire store a single file line. I cannot fathom how someone could thinks this makes sense. In addition, they seem to move the location of items every few weeks or so, often placing them next to completely unrelated items and in unrelated sections. Finding anything in this store is a nightmare. read more

Love this Aldi! The people that work there are all so nice and for being such a small grocery store, they have a great selection. I'm in here at least twice a week. They have a good selection of beer and wine too. Brands I haven't found anywhere else that are now our favorites. You definitely can't beat the prices. :) read more

The Aldi on Crestwood Blvd definitely has organic product just not a lot of it (yet). It's typically on the end cap of the produce section. My issue with Aldi produce is that you need to use it fairly quickly, except for the pineapple which sometimes needs some additional time to ripen but is often on sale for $.99 which is a steal. I also liked their organic bananas and grape tomatoes. While I agree that a lot of the Aldi products likely are not GMO free, their Fit n Active brands and definitely their newer Simply Nature organic label foods would be less likely to use GMO products. I have found the Organic Simply Nature products to be very reasonably priced as well. Their artisan lettuce is a great deal. Sure their cucumbers are heavily waxed but they are good and crispy. The potatoes (idaho and sweet) can be hit or miss. Their normal delivery day seems to be Tuesday night before their Wednesday flyers take effect so their produce selection is best then. Most of their frozen seafood appears to be farmed from various Asian locales and while labelled, that is not my thing. Also, the meat is all cryovac'd with solution added so I skip those too. The eggs and butter are priced very well. Aldi is not our source for all shopping as we hit Aldi and supplemented with Publix yesterday, but it has its place and I for one am glad it's an option. read more

I frequent this location quite often because it's so close to my house. I love Aldi and especially enjoy this location because it's always well stocked, clean and has friendly staff. I would encourage everyone to try Aldi brand products, especially their organic fare. I personally love Aldi for their cheap yet satisfying Winking Owl Wine, a variety of low priced specialty cheeses and their cheap organic products. read more

Here is an Aldi review from someone who eats real food: food that is minimally processed with few to none preservatives and that mostly consists of plants and whole foods....and on top of that loves cooking ethnic cuisine! For starters, Aldi is SMALL. At least this one is. I've read numerous reviews of people being able to buy at Aldi what they buy in a major grocery store, and I don't see how that is possible at this location. I was upset to see that almost every boxed or canned food at Aldi is highly processed and contains GMOs (you can tell if there is any ingredient derivitive of soy, corn, cottonseed, or canola it has an 80-90% chance of being GM) So almost every container of nuts, cereals, bread, etc had loads of unpronounceable ingredients and GMOs. They have one brand of food that is not as processed as the others called "Fit and Active" but if you care at all about putting chemicals into your body you should still read the label pretty carefully. I picked up some supposedly nitrate free deli meat for my husband and some of their canned tomatoes, (which still had other ingredients besides "tomatoes" but I kind of needed some that day and they were cheap. The produce section was sad to say the least. Cauliflower turning brown, strawberries starting to bruise, asparagus not stored properly and wilting. There were some produce that were much more fresh (but only a few) and the WERE a GREAT buy. Like onions for 50 cents/lb, graps $2/lb, $2 for a cantaloupe melon etc. Watch the prices because though some things appear cheaper compared to Walmart or Sam's, they are really not because of size (for example I saw a small container of blackberries for $2 but at Sam's they are twice the size for $4, and much fresher! Pineapples were only $2 a pop but half the size of the Walmart ones that cost $3 each). On their website they talk about how they are incorporating more organic produce but I did not see any. :( I do highly value their model of reusing boxes, bagging your own food, and "renting" the cart for a quarter (you get it back). It's very economical and green, and I hope other food stores will adopt this model so they can lower their prices as well. There aren't shopping carts floating around everywhere blocking parking spaces which was awesome. I wish Aldi would invest in refrigerators for their produce and widen their selection of produce, and include products that are minimally processed and GMO free. I will be back occasionally to get dried beans, root vegetables, and their fresher produce, but that's about it. read more

First off, I would point out that Aldi is not a place that you are going to be able to get everything on your list. The store is relatively small, but they have a great selection of staple items, along with specialty items that come and go. The store carries almost exclusively products that are made by the Aldi company. I honestly have yet to find any product they make that I did not like (from chips to peanut butter to packaged cheeses.) The produce selection is also fairly small, but offers some incredible deals. The produce I have bought is always fresh. I don't buy a lot of meats, just because they don't seem to be as good of a deal as the rest of the store is. I always look forward to the specialty items that they carry (i.e. specialty meats, cheeses, and sauces.) These items usually run about half of what they would anywhere else. Even if one only went here for staple items, they would find that you will not be able to find them cheaper anywhere else in town. Some people are offput that you have to bag your own groceries, and purchase bags (or use boxes form the store like I do,) but that is one way they keep their costs down...and it is better for the environment too. I buy as much here as I possibly can! read more
