Wine Decanter $10

This was my first time at this location. I was able to get in and locate the items I needed to purchase. I really like the seafood here at Aldi - the steelhead trout is amazing! Unfortunately, they didn't have any but I purchased some coho salmon , which was amazing! It cooked up really nicely. Great flavor! I must say that I was a little disappointed in the produce department. It seem to be lacking. Oh well , this was still a decent Aldi visit. Even though my Aldi bag now has a hole in it. I would come to this location again when in the area.

This is so good!

I shop at this Aldi frequently. I am happy they have implemented some coronavirus prevention procedures. 1. They have one and sometimes two workers wiping down carts with disinfectant wipes and passing them out to customers as they come in. No quarter needed for the cart. 2. They are only allowing a certain amount of customers in at a time. 3. They have tape markers letting you know where to stand to comply with social distancing when waiting to go in the store as well as waiting to checkout. 4. They have installed plastic barriers between the cashier and customer. The cashiers and other workers were all wearing masks. This all helped alleviate some of my anxiety about going out in these trying times. Thanks, Aldi!

I love shopping at Aldis they have a variety of off-brand products and a few brand name products. The prices are always low so I know I will get more for my money when I shop here. I always check out there specials and limited offers in case I'm interested on those products. There are times that some things may be out of stock but this store does pretty well in keeping most stuff in stock. The store is also very clean and organized. I try to always find empty boxes before I check out since they do not bag your products or end up paying for a bag.

Fresh produce today for my visit

You may also pick your own. You can taste before you buy, naturally. If you have never had freshly picked apples, you are in for a treat. These are so different from those at the grocery store and the prices are good. Prices may vary a little depending on what you select, but, currently for apples, it is $12.00 for a large basket or $22.00 for a bushel. Now, a bushel is about 42-48 pounds or 126 medium apples, so it is a lot. The basket is probably about a peck which is about 10-12 pounds or about 32 medium apples. I find that a basket is good because it lasts me about two weeks and the apples taste fresh the whole time. However, I just eat them and do not cook with them. You may need more. Just put them in your refrigerator crisper and they will keep well as long as they are not dropped and bruised. When you purchase them they will all be blemish free. This is a wonderful short drive from Birmingham for a little family outing. Kids love to go out and pick the fruit. As a side note, if you are into gardening, this place is just across from Petals from the Past which is a unique nursery. Heck, you can find a place to eat (not in Jemison) and make a day of it.

This spot is a little hole in the wall not too far from the Honda dealership off I20. The guy…read morerunning the place is a one-man cooking machine and he knows what he's doing. Burgers, pastas and a few other things, all done extraordinarily well. Like shocking amounts of flavor. If you're in the area and you have a chance to try it, don't hesitate. It's easy to find, there's plenty of parking, and you'll get to sample a truly local hidden gem where the owner is working the grill and putting his eyes on every plate. Stop in and try it. You'll be glad that you did.

My friend and I visited here after seeing a review on Yelp. We do not live on this side of town and…read moredrove about 15 minutes to get here. Here are my thoughts: Pros: Alfredo had a good taste. Plate was heavy, albeit mostly noodles. Philly was made with whole chunks of steak and not ground meat. Plenty of seating inside. Soothing music played on the speakers. Coho or sockeye salmon was used, so chef didn't skip the health benefits of wild-caught fish. Cons: Philly looked to be missing the toppings. One portion looked like it was missing meat. Paid $9 more to add 3 stems of broccoli and 1 piece of chopped grilled chicken. I asked for my salmon to be cooked well done, but it was not due to the cashier typing "well done" under the broccoli add on. Meal was kinda pricey and while I did not mind paying for what I want...the amount of additional food vs the cost didn't add up. $4 for 3 stems of broccoli isn't right. One day, if we are in the area, I may return to try something different on the menu. Don't take my word for it. Try this restaurant out and leave a review on what you think.
