So then I decided to go for the CVS generic brand and it was on sale for so then I got a bottle and then try to line up for the self checkout but there was no line to distinguish the self checkout versus the cashier counter. I was busy waiting in line because there was just 1 line and then I got fed up that there were empty self checkouts and no one went to any from the line. I just walk through the line and to the counter. Scanned my barcode and got my discount perk for the Tylenol because I was burning with a fever that day. Did not realize that this store was 24 hours until later on so that's good about this store. You can just pop in to get snacks, drinks, or household goods. But just almost every aisle is locked up so that's what is bad about it. Also this time my receipt did not print out many coupons like it usually does. It just printed 1 coupon only so my receipt was mad short. Unbelievable!

I called because the pills looked funny, they assured me it was fine. I pressed that I have a peanut allergy and they called me back later to say, sorry, they did give me the peanut version because they misunderstood the prescription from my doctor. I had to go back and exchange it--so glad I didn't take it! Since then I've had several experiences where they say my prescription will be ready the next day and it isn't actually ready when I come to pick it up several days later. BE WARNED!!!!…read more I am a Type 1 Diabetic and have been a loyal customer for years despite the frequent rude behavior by the pharmacists and today I was threatened with police action by the pharmacist (older Russian/Ukranian woman with dyed black hair) at Neergaard Pharmacy on 7th Ave. in Park Slope, BK for simply trying to get my insulin refilled. Type 1 Diabetes is no joke yet the pharmacy DENIED, LIED AND THREATENED ME WITH POLICE ACTION for trying to get my approved and insured life saving medication. I ordered my insulin 2 WEEKS AGO and received ZERO notification that there was any issue with the order. When I went in last week to pick it up, it was not ready and no one from the pharmacy sent an email, text or called to let me know. I had 30 minute conversation this pharmacist and she said the order "didn't go through b/c I had no active refills" when in fact - I had 2 remaining. She insisted I needed a new order from my doctor, which I got while in the pharmacy. Another employee (who is absolutely exceptional at her job) witnessed this conversation and thankfully corroborated my story today when the pharmacist claimed that I was lying and that I never came in last week to speak with her. They have cameras. There are witnesses. Last week she said that "a newer employee messed it up" and "he wasn't very good" however this is NOT AN EXCUSE to not receive my medication. This week she has no recollection of speaking with me! It is a violation of patients rights to not be informed of changes to their medication without notification , let alone threatening to call the police on patients when they are demanding answers. Considering how many hoops we Type 1 Diabetics have to go through managing our chronic and incurable illness, the last thing we need is an incompetent and dysfunctional pharmacy who are literally calling the police on patients because of mismanagement and clear patient right violations. The first time I had to get my scrips from the new location, the trouble began. This location somehow managed to fill the wrong prescription. I called after the pharmacy had closed and spoke to the store manager, who assured me the situation would be fixed. I showed up the next day and they not only hadn't fixed it, but were unaware of any prescriptions having been forwarded to them. After I demanded the store manager present himself to explain the situation, suddenly they found my prescription. On my way home, I called my doctor and told them I was switching pharmacies.

Earlier this afternoon I stopped by this Walgreens location. The line was long and the man standing…read morein front of me was holding three water bottles. He appeared to be mentally ill from his mannerism and look. Suddenly, the security guard confronted the man. The man apparently took the guard's water bottle and didn't notice it was half filled. The security guard got into a heated back and forth argument with the man. I was surprised the security guard would challenge someone who looked mentally unstable. I asked both men to tone it down. I did not want to be in the middle of a confrontation. Instead, the security guard kept quarreling with the man. The man took a case of water and dumped it at the feet of the security guard before leaving the store. I understand that working security can be difficult, but the guard's behavior was unprofessional and immature. When I told him I would report his behavior to management, he said he did not care. He also cursed at me. This guard needs further training on how to handle his emotions and situations like this. I can only imagine how he would react in a more serious situation.
