Amazing place. My boyfriend and I ate here for dinner while visiting Sandia Crest on a roadtrip. Staff was so courteous and seemed to genuinely enjoy working with each other. Very refreshing atmosphere. Food was amazing. We shared are meals with each other and both were amazing. I ordered the Sangre De Cristo with delicious berry sauce on the side, and he ordered the Korean Chicken sandwich with kimchi slaw. Both were flavorful. The crunch on the chicken was AMAZING and perfection. Batter was not greasy or soggy. I don't think even so called "chicken only" places have perfected the fried batter like this place has! Regular fries as well and sweet potato fries were also perfectly crisp on the outside while being soft in the middle, both with great flavor. Highly recommend this place. Also: one of the waitresses is an artist and her wildlife paintings are for sale and on display on the walls. I happened to sit right next to a beautiful piece and I bought it before leaving. Will make a beautiful souvenir!

What a great recommendation! Went to Tinkertown museum (I have a review on that too) asked for a place to have a nice lunch. The girl told me a few places but, said this was the place to go. Very glad I did.!!! Yummy food, nice customer service and of course...beautiful view. Will definitely go again!

Mango vinaigrette salad dressing is awesome. My burger was pretty standard, nothing super special. The top of the bun was excellent. Service was great, we had three ladies rotating in to check on us on the patio and our actual waitress was super nice and brought my friend an ice cream for her birthday. All in all- decent spot to go to when on the mountain!

I just had a pretty unbelievable experience with the Greenside Cafe. We've been eating here for well over a decade and never been treated this way. My husband and I are both sick. We ordered a burger and peanut noodles so we wouldn't have to cook. We live a good distance away as many people in the EM do. When we got home we realized my husbands burger bun was totally burnt. It's a $14 burger. They wanted us to come back to the restaurant so they could remake it or take $5 off the price of the burger. That's like an hour and half of our time spent going back and forth to fix something that they should have checked before sending out of the kitchen. Considering we had already paid for a meal that wasn't made correctly it seems like pretty bad customer service to force us to drive back to the restaurant. I requested a total refund for the burger which feels pretty reasonable. The person I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude and should not be your front of house representative. She told me five dollars was the best they could do since we didn't want to come back to the restaurant. I told her there was no way we could come back and that I wanted a refund for the burger. She said simply said "Okay" in a condescending tone and hung up the phone. I attempted to call back to speak to a manager but I imagine she was the manager. I won't expect a refund but I'll be delighted if I get one. One thing is certain, we won't be returning to Greenside anymore. I hope the $14 was worth a lifetime of patronage. Thank you for the truly terrible experience.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and while the food is okay and the servers friendly, the hostess is consistently rude.

The staff handed it over the bar to him without mentioning that it was strictly for off-premise consumption. Honestly, I suspected something might be off when I saw the large, unopened can, but because the bartender handed it directly to him without a word of warning, we assumed it was fine. We ended up opening it and drinking it for a while before the staff finally noticed. When they did realize what happened, they completely panicked, told us it was a "felony," and confiscated the can. We completely understand that New Mexico has strict liquor laws and that the brewery has to protect its license. Now that we know the rule, we definitely won't make this mistake again. However, the situation could have been entirely avoided if the staff simply communicated better at the point of sale. If you hand a customer a large package container over the bar that cannot legally be opened on-site, it is your responsibility as the server to state that clearly. The staff should have caught this when serving us, or at least handled the mistake with better customer service instead of escalating the situation. It was an honest mistake caused by a lack of clear guidance from the bartender. As two professionals that work on base nearby, this is a letdown, especially as we have frequented this brewery in the past.

The restrooms were retro, very 90s, run down but clean, and if I was running from the Sinaloa Cartel...I could picture myself hiding in a place like this. Almost like a mix between the films Memento and Breaking Bad. But yes, Lisa's Grill. I had to stop in at this Southwestern Flare Diner! It's situated inside the truck stop, with a very 70s & 80s atomic age diners vibe like that one scene in the Kingsmen movie. Loved the ceiling, bold colored red, glossy, with silver...makes Johnny Rockets look artificial. So I had to try their top picks on the menu. The Red Rooster -- country fried steak with red hot sauce, and their hatch chilli burgers. The food was ok, Id probably rate a 3.5/5. Menu is heavily influenced by Spanish cuisine. If your looking for a quick breakfast along route 66 in Central New Mexico, this is a good spot to take a break. Overall service, environment food I'd give it a 4/5. Seems pretty popular amongst the locals, and place is pretty packed for a lunch run. Yea, definitely come check it out!
