Got 5 quotes and went with Juarez Tree Service based on their quote, other reviews, and they're covered by Yelp Guarantee (which thankfully, I've never had to use before). Scheduled a time with them last Friday and they had availability and we scheduled a date and time. Erik said 8-9AM on Tuesday (this morning). Before they arrived, I moved all the potted plants a good distance away from the palm tree. I also covered two plants that I couldn't move with a garbage can to protect them. The palm tree leaves fall a good distance and will mess up anything they fall onto. I also created a small path in our backyard for them to walk through. Erik and his crew arrived promptly at 9AM. Erik brought 2 people with him. Ivan was the one going up and cutting off the leaves. Salvador was the one carrying leaves off to the trailer in front of our driveway. Before they started work, they laid down a large tarp to catch most of the debris. Erik's whole crew was very courteous and professional. They worked quickly and cleanly - the backyard was either in the same or slightly cleaner condition than when they started. From start to finish, the job took about an hour and 45 minutes. They're very efficient! We also had quite a few palm tree leaves that fell from our neighbor's tree. They helped haul away those as well. I highly recommend Juarez Tree Service based on this palm tree trimming service!

Madriz Tree pruned a large oak tree in my neighbor's backyard. The branches extend over to my…read moreproperty by about 8-10 feet. They cut an extensive number of branches from the oak tree and let them free-fall on my property, which is full of plants. The branches damaged my plants extensively. My backyard was probably 4 feet high with branches, and 8 feet deep. When I talked to one of the workers, he said the plants were "OK", but that wasn't true. When I asked to speak to the supervisor from Madriz, the workers said he wasn't there. No one from Madriz told me that they were going to prune the tree and let large branches free-fall into my backyard onto the plants in my garden and garage roof. Completely unprofessional. With respect to your request for a video, I do have a video of your Madriz worker in my backyard pulling piles and piles of branches off of my plants in my garden. With respect to your comment that I was "yelling and screaming" and "harassing" your workers, you are gaslighting me. I don't yell, scream, or harass workers. It's offensive and untrue. If you wanted to dead-drop limbs from an oak tree into my backyard, onto the plants in my garden, you should have contacted me first and discussed it. You never did.

He came to my house and provided a quote to which I agreed. He indicated his crew would be there either the next day or the day after that. I stayed home both days and he never showed or called or texted. I texted him asking why he hadn't come or called or texted about the job and never received a response. His crews have been working the roads, possibly for PGE, and I saw them out working while I was waiting for him to contact me. I'm guessing he is too busy or something, who knows? --- I ended up going with another local company [insert deleted company] and was very happy with their service.
