While thinking up fun crafts to do as a new parent for my little one, I decided to make the trek to the new greenlynx for some supplies. I figured local business of course is better than big box stores, and I'd rather shop here first and then hit Friedman's or HD after in a pinch. Thankfully, greenlynx had everything I needed! The folks inside were so helpful when with my sleep deprived brain I explained my project idea. They helped me fine tune some of the details, and we found all the parts. The great part about this place, even if you have a project you think you're there for, you'll probably find some cool other things for new projects or crafts. All at a really great price too! The hours are somewhat limited which makes things a little challenging with a baby, but now that they have consolidated their two locations, parking is easy, and everything is conveniently located together. Went to buy stairs that they had on Facebook Marketplace and that I had said I wanted. Was shown the stairs by 2 employees. Asked a lot of questions, was told they would help me load. Asked if I could pay today but pick up Saturday and was told they did not do holds. Went up the the front to pay and after a whispered conversation between the 2 employees, was told that the stairs weren't for sale. "Supposedly" someone had put a hold on them, was a no show , then all of a sudden they were coming to get them. Very disappointed that they wasted my time and why wasn't I told it was sold when I first got there? Would not shop here again or recommend. read more

Fantastic customer service! I bought a faucet display model a few months ago and just discovered it was missing an important part and while it seemed like a common locknut, it was specific to that brand and not available at plumbing supply stores or online. Turns out the model was discontinued and no parts are available. I called Greenlynx and they were awesome. They took down important information and followed up with returns calls. Nicole passed on information to Greg and he used calipers and found the locknut I needed. He even mailed it to me so I wouldn have to make the 1 1/2 hour drive to Santa Rosa. Very cool store and super thoughtful staff that go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. read more

So grateful for Brandon, Greg and the entire Greenlynx Team! Everyone was incredibly hard working, kind and thorough. We hired them to demo/salvage a 1200sqft home -- the previous owners lived there for 40 years and had a lot of "homeowner specials" throughout the property. It was a multi-day project, but they did a stellar job and worked round the clock to get things done in time before the painters needed access. They removed old flooring, they demolished the massive counter and the entire bathroom, they hauled out the oversized appliances, lumber, rubbish, they ripped out moldy wood covering a window, and so much more! They went above and beyond and they even added plywood to the holes in the home's exterior where the old A/C units had been removed. There are so many things they did throughout this project, I could write a novel. Additionally, we have also purchased wonderful pieces to be added to the renovated home, including a beautiful vanity and sink. I don't like to be That Guy, as I know I have no other Yelp reviews. That's mostly because most businesspeople act in the professional manner that we've rightly come to expect, so I don't have that much to say about my experiences with them. But the customer service I received from Nicole at GreenLynx is the worst I've ever experienced. She was unaccountably angry, rude, and disrespectful to me. Nothing in this store is labeled with price tags, for some reason. On a recent visit, in buying some tiles, my wife was quoted a price of 15 cents each. I was unaware of this quote when I paid up (wife had to go to the car), and the cashier quoted me a price of $1 each. OK with me. But when we got home and my wife saw the receipt, she told me of the error, which in itself was understandable. I do not live closeto this store, so I called to get a refund. I was told that they were not "set up" to give refunds. This was not satisfactory to me, so I called again, another day, and spoke to someone who seemed helpful, but ultimately did nothing. I called a third time, asked politely to have the overcharge refunded. Nicole angrily told me that I shouldn't be bothering them with concerns like this, that the money was not enough to worry about, and that they'd already "wasted" enough of their time with this matter. She said she'd give me a cash refund if I came back to the store. I told her that the store is not conveniently located to me, and that I'd prefer a partial credit card refund. Nicole continued to curse me out, telling me that she "didn't want me as a customer." She was angry, short-tempered, rude, inconsiderate, and aggressive, though I never once raised my voice. She hung up on me. The money itself is not the issue; it's the principle of the thing. If you overcharge a customer, you issue a refund, no matter how small that refund may be. Constructive suggestions: Use price tags. Make sure your employees know the prices of your wares. Correct your errors. Don't tell customers that they're "wasting your time." Don't hang up on customers. I urge others to avoid GreenLynx. read more

Brandon is a true professional who is dedicated to providing excellent service in many ways. He was responsive and flexible with our scheduling constraints. His crews were safe and meticulous and productive. He provided the paperwork and documentation required by the County and the 3rd party auditor. And he truly "walks the walk" when it comes to deconstruction and recycling. His process kept valuable materials out of the waste stream, and he found and worked with local folks who wanted some of the deconstructed materials, cutting down transportation costs and carbon footprint. GreenLynx is the way to go! Brandon and his crew were absolutely amazing. Quick to respond to my inquiry for their services, answering any and every question about how the demo process works, donation to non-for profit agencies, tax receipts, proper recicling and disposal. Our house was in mayor need of a remodel yet there were many things that still had life in them. GreenLynx made sure to find new homes for our entire kitchen. From the counters, to the stove and hood, sink, faucet, cabinets, windows, toilets, bathtub, etc etc. They were very mindful of the space and not to damage walls during the very intense process of taking all this apart. They also pull 2300 SQ feet of old hardwood floor for proper disposal. They executed the contract on schedule and within the preset budget. GreenLynx does a very important job in recycling, properly disposing and relocating goods. All very important issues to us. And we get a tax receipt! Amazing! read more

As a GC, I recently subcontracted a deconstruction project to GREENLYNX in Sonoma County. From start to finish-Brandon, Nicole, and Barbara communicated promptly, provided me with a bid on relatively short notice, signed and returned my paperwork on time, and found a way to plug my project into their busy schedule. Mostly dealing with Brandon-I really appreciated him returning my calls and emails during the development of the job and following through in every aspect of the project. The guys just completed the project and showed up on time, worked swiftly, and cleaned up respectfully after themselves. I would venture to say it is rare to find a demolition contractor who would put the finishing touches on a demo site like they cared to do. I specifically hired GreenLynx because of their experience deconstructing and harvesting lumber for reuse and was very pleased with my experience as a client of their company. Had the GreenLynx out to our place to deconstruct a structure in the back yard. They did the job in one day, were professional and thorough. They came through as estimated and really did a fantastic job. We went from shed to backyard patio in no time. Would highly recommend Brandon and his team, they are reusing building materials and gave us an opportunity to do the right thing and get a tax deduction for materials donated.
