My contractor recommended DryScapes. He brought some samples and told me to visit the store. I went to 4 different rock /mulch / landscape material providers in SR & Sebastopol. This one had the most variety. You can drive or walk through the back lot. Best of all they have dozens of samples in the front office. You can ask to take samples home to see it the colors work for you. The staff is easy to work with. Be aware of their hours to make sure they are open. They open and close early. Mitch and his guys are A+! Dryscape caught my eye coming down Santa Rosa avenue-we were creating a Sonoma fieldstone wall in our backyard and the rocks in the pallets were clean (in itself amazing!) and nicely shaped. We had a slight mixup in the delivery and Mitch made it right, and right away. The prices are lower than the "big" place, and the product better. He explained that all the landscape material places have their own sources, and it took a bit of time, but he found the right quarry, and only uses them. His customer service is top notch; and his deliveries arrive as scheduled. When the product arrives at Dryscape, that's when he schedules you for delivery. Every landscape material place does scheduling like this. It makes no sense to do it any other way, and usually it's within a day or two. I highly recommend Dryscape, and they will always be my first choice. read more

Dryscape was recommended by our neighbor for landscaping rocks and we are really happy with the selection and customer service. The prices are competitive for the Mexican Black river rocks we were shopping for. The hot tip is if you need a cubic yard that's the best value. Any portion of the full yard requires an extra cost for the labor involved with shoveling and breaking the cubic yard set portion. We really liked they were able to deliver. It was $110 to where we live. I imagine the delivery rate depends on how far away the destination is. The person who arrived to deliver the rocks was friendly and provided great customer service. We will definitely be back to Dryscape for our landscaping needs :) read more

Showed up with 6 large buckets, no problem, employee Christian took me out to the back, filled the buckets with the rock I chose, put the buckets back in my trunk. Bam done!! Inexpensive and so friendly. Also when paying the bill I was telling him and fellow employee the hard time figuring out what to do with my yard. They showed me business cards that contractors had left also looked up phone numbers for me as some cards were gone. read more

I showed up to this place on a whim looking for some unusual rock that not a lot of places locally carry.... I had only found it at another location and they weren't able to deliver within that week.... Mitch was not only kind and helpful he also took the time to call other locations that he knew carried the rock to see if any of them could deliver that day.... we failed and weren't able to get delivery that day but first thing Monday morning Mitch had two yards delivered to my door....today I'm heading back for 2 more yards.... read more

They were extremely pleasant, and gave us lots of time while answering our questions and addressing our concerns. We'd been to several other yards prior to this one and were struck by the rudeness and lack of help we encountered at these other places. The guys at Dryscape were very courteous throughout the whole process. I also took note of how respectful and appreciative Mitch was when talking to one of his workers. Helpful, knowledgeable, maybe a little pricey & quirky. Somehow we ended up with 3 yards too much. Bad calculation I guess. That's on us but they couldn't even be paid to help us out. I am sold on Dryscape. Mitch, Christian, Robby and the team are excellent to work with. Cotati Shamrock guys are nice too, but the other yards in the area seem disinterested or worse when dealing with anyone other than a contractor. Mitch's pricing is very competitive - much better than SBI. This is now my go-to place for stone, pavers, gravel, mulch,etc. and I have tried all the local sources. read more

After going to several unnamed yards and treated poorly by people that were obviously not interested in my business I located DryScape Material!! I walked in and was greeted by a friendly smile, someone who appeared interested in what I was doing and the rock I was looking for. After explaining to me the difference in rocks and why the Mexican Pebble was so expensive, I was offered other product and was made to feel like they cared about my needs. The level of customer service is honorable from the in person, to the delivery person to our phone conversation!! I will only recommend DryScape Materials to all my friends, family and strangers I meet due to the level of customer service and timeliness of deliveries. These guys make it easy and pleasant to purchase landscaping materials. They take the time to speak with you, help you figure out the best material for your project, then they calculate the quantity. Delivery is fast, and boy, are they good at dropping your load exactly where you need it. The whole experience is so painless.
