I would give no stars or negative stars if i could. Read my review, where I am being polite. This company is one of the rudest, most insulting crew i have ever met. Especially its Cotati, Calif. credit person Rita is one of the most obnoxious credit people I have ever talked to in my life. not only are their prices a total rip off as stated in my review but their policies are outrageous as well. They over charge for everything, have high delivery rates and dont refund pallet deposits in full. then they insult you and tell you that they are right and you dont know what you are doing. When complaints are filed their credit manager just says shop somewhere else. go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a fair deal on materials and deal with real people that do a good job and are polite. I ordered up 6 yards of concrete with color added. The lady on the other end of the phone was very knowledgeable and friendly. Ordering was super easy. She called to confirm the day before my pour. The truck showed up exactly at 7:30 am like I was told. The driver did a great job maneuvering the truck around for my 2 pour sites. The concrete looks great. I was working on a project in the area and needed some mulch. I was directe to Shamrock Materials by a friend and I am satisfied I did. They were easy to schedule and communicate with. The wood mulch was delivered up a narrow hillside driveway and dumped in a clean pile. Excellent material for garden mulching. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I needed a small quantity of drain rock, about 10 cubic feet. Shamrock had small quantities of it prepackaged in 80# sturdy bags that made it much easier for this 77 year old man to handle & place rather than shovel it from my trailer. They loaded a dozen bags for me into my pickup which made it much easier than a trailer load. Great service & not a bad price. read more

I called and said I'd like to pick up a concrete trailer of ready mix the following morning. They said no reservations and make sure to show up early to get in line! I showed up a half hour early and asked where i get in line for the concrete trailers and the guy said we don't rent them till 8. I was told to get here early I said... he rudely said I guess your first in line. Then after waiting 15min they told me their machine was down and had been since the previous day... they didn't bother to give me a heads up the day before on the phone. They said the mechanic was there so I could wait. Then 10min later they asked for my ID and insurance so we could get paperwork out of the way. My insurance company had not sent me new card since covid so mine was expired. They refused to rent to me unless I called my insurance company. It's 745 in the morning, my insurance company is not open now and possibly not today at all with covid. I've rented these trailers lots of times and never had to provide insurance, I asked why they didn't give me a heads up when I called the day before? They cost me a day and they were rude from the moment I walked threw the door. I'll never use them again. What's my part? I threw a little temper tantrum on the way out. I could have done better. Therefore I'll leave a 3star instead of the 1star that they deserve read more

Seeing patriotism within our truck drivers is awesome since they are the back bone of America. Please let your drivers know the union is always to the left or in the direction of travel. One driver displayed his flag with the union on the right inside in his truck spread across the back of his cab. The rear view does not show the full flag but the front window does.
