we got two wraps that came with spinach tortilla caesar salad wrap- classic, and had a good amount (but not too much) of caesar dressing. there was some crunch too which was satisfying sweet and spicy thai wrap- a seasonal item! it has rice noodles in it, some veggies and chicken. it was really good and refreshing!! the sauce it comes with made it even better too! both were delicious! their menu is also pretty big, which was great. there are so many options, ranging from wraps, burgers, sandwiches, and bowls! the service was also very good, they were so nice! it's funny how we would've never found this place if we aren't furniture shopping- this lil plaza has other food spots too and it's so hidden! read more

Loved it, but unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the salad I chose. The ground chicken or turkey (forgot which) was tasteless and the salad dressing that came with it was equally tasteless. I didn't use it. I ordered the cauliflower appetizer that tasted like turmeric, but wasn't listed as an ingredient and for $11, the portion size was 5-6 VERY small florets and the other half of the plate was 5-6 spears of jicama. Always liked the food at the 17th Street location and I know they regularly change the menu. We enjoyed the nice day out, but unfortunately won't be back for the food here. read more

Was driving through the area and wanted some yummy and healthy food. I searched Yelp for a healthy option and right off the freeway as Greenleaf! I got so lucky. I pre-ordered on their website so the food was ready when I arrived. It only took 15 minutes for my two taco orders and my nacho orders to be ready. It is in a very cute shopping center. It looks like it's high-end furniture that's being sold there. Easy parking! Tons of seating inside and if you wanna enjoy outside, there's tons of seating as well. I actually didn't sit at the restaurant, but I sat in the garden area where there's a ton of open seats for anyone to sit at. I enjoyed the waterfall, people watching, and most importantly, the sun! I made sure to order the chicken Tinga for both my taco and nachos because that's what the yelp review says we're really good. The nachos were really yummy and crispy. This is only for Costa Mesa location. I wrote a review about 8 months ago sharing my disappointment in the quality here--especially with the Chop Chop salad. I decided to give it another try today, hoping it had improved, but unfortunately it hasn't. The salad still does not include garbanzo beans or the pepperoni blend, and it barely has any red onions. It's really disappointing that the Costa Mesa kitchen version of Greenleaf doesn't live up to the standard. I also don't think it's fair to advertise the salad with all of the listed ingredients when they aren't actually included. You can add chicken or shrimp, it doesn't usually come with a protein option, it's 5 dollars extra for chicken, not sure how much for shrimp. I also got me a lemonade to go with my bowl. It arrived beautifully packaged, I was very impressed and ate most of it right away saving the rest for later. It was amazing, I loved the spicy dressing it came with too! You can tell that the vegetables and products used to make this were fresh and good quality max the cook took his time in making it oh so perfect. It cured my hunger and tastes really good! Idk how they made the meat so perfect... how the bread was not soggy even after eating it after 30 minutes of it being made... but the patty was so tender. And delicious. We absolutely love Greenleaf and my daughter. Kate, worked at the location in Costa Mesa for many years but unfortunately that spot has closed. They still have another one in Costa Mesa, but in kind of a furniture/mall which I probably would not go to unless I was over there shopping. There is a new one in the Santa Ana John Wayne airport and it's fabulous. Brand new, Great staff and the same great food. So we will definitely be hitting Greenleaf when we travel. read more

Located in the OC mix, the eatery offers access from both the parking lot and the shopping area. They have both indoor and outside seating, as well. While you do place your order inside, they will bring your food to the outside tables. We ordered and shared a hamburger and the avocado toast. The hamburger was aok. The avocado toast was also AOK. Both were average and the bread didn't seem to be very fresh. The prices here are on the strong side. With the prices they are charging, I guess the little one and I expected a bit more in the area of flavor and quality. With the prices they charge, we both thought we would have better customer service or some appreciation that we were customers spending that amount of money. read more
