This was our first time here and everything was great. Pros: * Fast & knowledgeable customer service * Delicous food. The Vegan dipping sauce with the baked sweet potatoes was amazing. * Plenty of parking in the back * Very clean and the styling was relaxing. Cons: * N/A Extra: * Don't forget to order fries with your burger! My husband got his burger and was sad when it didn't have fries. Lucky, I ordered some, so we shared.

We had an appointment in the area and stopped by here for a quick bite. My husband had the chicken sandwich & I had the lemongrass chicken salad. Food was rather bland. Don't think we'll be back again.

Dining at Greenleaf is not just a meal, it is an experience. When I walked in I was mesmerized by the unique, sophisticated ambience. There is greenery all over, displayed in artistic ways. I was impressed with the sectioned layout - gorgeous side patio perfect for a large party, open kitchen with counter seating, bar with high tops and TVs, and a more intimate space for a catch up or date. Parking is easy and is fee-free. I can't wait to experience Greenleaf K&C again.

Met up with some friends for lunch at Greenleaf! It was a good mix of options for food and lots of healthy choices! The salads were good and enjoyed the option of having vegan chorizo! The nachos (pictured) was our favorite! Really good mix of spices, cheese and jalapeños! People were nice though your order at cashier and food is brought out to your table. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating, casual brunch or lunch vibes.

We came back to dine in here because the manager sent us a very nice private message. We ordered spaghetti squash, salad, and baked sweet potato fries. For dessert we got chocolate chip cookies. The lady who took our order in a front desk was beautiful and sweet. She made some recommendations and I love that she is very knowledgeable about the menu. Spaghetti squash was my favorite! Super healthy, satisfying : ) This time I did not order any drinks because last time 1 coffee took over 30 min. Overall, service and food were wonderful! The whole restaurant team did a great job. I am so glad we came back and tried it. I appreciate the manager here because he took his time to read a review and messaged me. Chocolate chip cookie was great too! This restaurant made us very happy this time around yay ! Thank you so much and fantastic job !!!!!

lemongrass chicken salad, pesto chicken panini

This place is a perfect spot if you're feeling a light, healthy lunch that is also very delicious! I ordered the lemongrass chicken salad which had a generous portion of chicken and additional toppings. The lychee lemongrass vinaigrette paired nicely with the salad and the toasted coconut topping added a yummy hint of coconut to every other bite. My friend also really enjoyed his pesto chicken panini which looked really good too. The baked garlic fries he ordered on the side were surprisingly crispy and garlic-y. I was surprised that they were able to get such a yummy texture out of a baked fry. I would definitely come back again to try their other dishes and maybe some of their cocktails too!

Healthy hummus! Tastes like pesto w hummus. :O so good! Also pictured on the back left is the Summer Breeze

This is my favooooorite place to eat when we're in the OC. We waited an hour at The Lighthouse for brunch the day before, but I'd rather have just come here again for brunch because: 1) the food NEVER misses. It's always a win. 2) there's no wait 3) today at brunch there was an acoustic guitar player and it made the ambience soooo dreamy and nice to eat outside. I've eaten a LOT of egg benedicts in my life and today I had greenleaf's. It was hands down the best eggs benedict i've EVER had. It comes with just one egg benedict but i was full after eating this and an appetizer. I got it because the cashier said it was super duper good and you know what??? IT IS SUPER DUPER GOOD. My bf got the brunch burrito and I wanted to steal it from him because it was soooo freaking tasty (so tasty that I got one to-go to eat at home myself). It tastes homemade but still like something i would not be able to make at home. Other good things to get here maybe for lunch or dinner: - The chicken stir fry. You may be thinking "it's just a stir fry?" But HOLY GUACAMOLE this was so good. My god. - Lemongrass chicken salad. SO GOOD. I don't even like coconut but the coconut in this MADE the dish. It was so tasty. I got this at the same time as the chicken stir fry and omg. Get both. - Garlic fries. Very garrrlickyyyy - The cocktails: the summer breeze and the peach please. Perfect afternoon cocktails. Also EAAAAASY parking. Love it.

Not only good...this has got to be THE BEST Bene in this WORLD

What a great place to have a summer get together! 20 friends came here for Sunday brunch and we were able to experience the fresh, newly remodeled front outside patio dining area. The new plank flooring nicely covered the previous dirt area and the atmosphere and ambiance was even more wonderful than before. The umbrellas were strategically placed and complimented the tree lined patio perfectly to achieve a sunny yet comfortably shady dining experience. The food choices are always fresh and new, yet I'm ecstatic they haven't changed the brunch menu much. As you can only come here on the weekends to get brunch, I'm happy to always see the delicious eggs benedict stealing the show on the menu. I recommend it to all my friends and there's yet one person who doesn't care for it. Being that it's NOT your ordinary benedict.... you may be surprised to see that it has sliced fresh turkey, instead of Canadian bacon atop an extremely fresh and delicious pretzel bun, instead of the normal English muffin. The poached egg is ALWAYS perfect. The flavors meld together well and it has the best hollandaise sauce I've ever had ....that is, of course, made fresh in house. Trevor, the general manager, showed us exceptional hospitality, as usual. He's a very hands on manager and you'll always see him working as hard as everyone else. All the staff is very pleasant, friendly and attentive and everything always runs very smoothly. There is no question everyone knows their place and responsibilities. Knowing Trevor, his management skills and personality are such an asset to any company because he has many years of experience in the restaurant industry, including various types of chains and higher end level establishments. This is not the first, second, third or forth time I've been here and always can't wait to try something new. Today was the seasonal watermelon salad and I added salmon for my protein, which was cooked to perfection! Great job everyone!

I had an okay first experience here. Not sure what my full thoughts are yet since I had a quick lunch experience with a friend. I was interested in a casual service restaurant offering healthy food options, and Greenleaf delivers on offering that option. Parking is a breeze with the entire shopping complex sharing a large parking lot. Greenleaf has some indoor seating and a good amount of outdoor seating on the patio and the shared public tables. After ordering at the front counter, our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I got the Kitchen Sink Cobb salad ($15.50). The portion was huge and filling. I wasn't the biggest fan of the balsamic vinaigrette, which was really strong and had a strange aftertaste. Otherwise, it was a really generous salad. My friend got the Turkey Melt on Pretzel Roll ($13.50), which looked less than appealing. It was a tiny sandwich and was pretty pricey for not including a side. She did say she liked the taste, but I would not order a sandwich here. Next time I'll stick to salads and bowls.

Soggy garlicky fries Once in a while you get a bite of garlic No crunch Arrived 15 minutes before our sandwich

Had the Turkey sandwich on pretzel bun roll with my hubbie.... Was a small sandwich filled with Turkey & Gouda Was very meaty. Bun was wet from the insides and so was messy to eat and filling wet the bun. Sloppy. Looking around I think we should have ordered a salad.... But we were not in the mood for a salad. Fries are not crispy and was lacking the garlic taste... came out 15 minutes before our sandwich. Broccolini salad came out with sandwich... my hubbie did not care for the salad. I enjoyed the sunflowers seeds and cranberries. The dressing is very light! Overall ambience was nice and breezy as we were outside under an umbrella. The service was nice, nothing above and beyond. We came here on my request as it reminds me of home. Have not been here in a long time because we were not that impressed with the food when it first opened. I grew up in an Aggie health-foodie area of central CA so I have high standards. This place has a local vibe that's nice... Enjoyed an Arnold Palmer... the lemonade and tea were tasty and hit the spot on this hot day when we came for lunch. There's a place for everyone. Casual place that I would not take too seriously.

Knife & fork burger

Solid healthy options that taste good and have reasonable prices! I got the knife & fork burger. It doesn't come with a burger bun but who needs those extra carbs anyway. Nice outdoor seating area too. Good lunch choice with vegetarian and vegan options!

pesto chicken panini: avocado pesto, tomatoes, arugula, cheddar + basil pesto vinaigrette = $10.95
Trung N.

3.5 stars -ish While I am the biggest fan of Greenleaf, my feelings have been wavering as of late. I ordered the chicken pesto panini ($10.99) + an order of baked garlic fries ($4.95). The sandwich comes with avocado pesto, tomatoes, arugula, cheddar + basil pesto vinaigrette. Ciabatta gets super hard in panini form so I opted for the pretzel bread instead - don't do this. Pretzel bread is sensitive so it gets burnt real fast. I instead had burnt bread. No bueno. With inflation, they got rid of the small salad option via DoorDash. I had to order a real sized salad and it was rather expensive - baja kale caesar ($14.50). It comes with kale, a lot of romaine, almond-crusted chicken, quinoa, parmesan crisps, sliced avocado, quest fresco, hard boiled egg, pico de gallo, black beans, pickled watermelon radio, roasted corn with chipotle caesar dressing - twas delicious HOWEVER, you have get extra dressing because dry kale going down your throat is gonna make you choke 100%. HOWEVER, I didn't receive an extra order of dressing, so eating this salad was rather rough. I like Greenleaf a lot...but it's a commitment to healthy eating at premium prices.

Carnitas

Always a 5/5. Food, service and ambiance are always great. They have new food and drinks on the menu. Restaurant and bar is beautiful. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and paleo options. You can't go wrong.

Do you have a nutrition facts sheet that I can find on your website with calories and macros included?

Not that i know of. Pretty easy to track and customize though. I have asked about portion sizes before when i have wanted to track.

The Pork Belly with Black Garlic and the Seared Duck Breast were both perfectly executed. Crunchy, golden skin. Juicy meat. Rich, flavorful sauces paired with comforting, silky purées. Balanced. The kind of plates that make us slow down to savor each mouthful... and then shamelessly scrape up every last bite. We were so smitten after those first two dishes that we threw all caution and control to the wind. I asked staff to surprise us with one of the dishes recommended earlier. Out came the Grilled Octopus Al Pastor. Nice char, tender bite, and a tangy sauce. For dessert: the Baklava Cheesecake. Lightly spritzed with aromatic rose water, ultra sweet, and unapologetically indulgent. Beautifully crafted and shareable, though you may not want to. Beyond the food, the ambience really shines. Intimate, classy, and whimsical, with a charming playlist. Ideal for date nights or special celebrations. Service was outstanding. Warm, attentive, and passionate. Staff enthusiastically walked us through the menu and offered recommendations. Our server was on point. Water glasses were never empty, plates cleared promptly, and everything flowed seamlessly. An incredible experience from start to finish. I couldn't stop yapping about the duck and pork belly since our first dinner here. So we came back the following weekend! We ordered our favorites again - the Pork Belly with Black Garlic and the Seared Duck Breast. To our surprise, the meats felt rather chewy and tough. I'm hoping this was a hiccup, but would love to see consistency in texture. Will be coming back for more :)

This is really out of the way for us, but since we were doing some shopping in Costa Mesa, Grok recommended this restaurant based on a few of our filters... Wow, the food was phenomenal...but what pushed this from a 4 star to a 5 star experience were the warm towelettes and lemon for me to wash my hands with. I guess they saw me using my hands to eat their delectable empanadas, they brought a plate with warm towelettes and lemon over. Pleasantly surprised and impressed. Highly recommended, and will definitely be back. We come down to the OC a few times a month to see friends and escape our regular routine.
