They communicated clearly, integrated me into the team on both the packing and moving jobs to ensure we were in synch on all the details, and never missed a beat. There were a few significant challenges on the move-in side to my 2nd story rental unit. Two 90" sofas were innovatively hoisted from the truck, up and over my balcony, through french doors, and into the living room...done and done. My dining room table includes two acrylic pedestals and a very heavy (and breakable) glass top. Crated and uncrated carefully, the crew took extra time and care to place the rug and assembled table precisely centered under the existing chandalier. As it would be difficult for me to make adjustments later, they far exceeded my expectation on this important (to me) task. I appreciated that my beds were set up, including bedding, all clothes in wardrobes were hung in the closets, and then those large boxes taken away. I was happy (and relieved) that my final cost came in slightly under estimate. I sensed that Leo and the team were carefully working on my behalf to reach this goal. I highly recommend Cardinale Moving & Storage. You guys are great from top to bottom!

This was a challenging move with a…read moredifficult house to move out of and into, and the crew handled it professionally from start to finish. The team worked efficiently and packed the truck expertly--everything was secure, and nothing was broken or damaged, which really speaks to their care and experience. Toward the end of the move things did slow down a bit, but we were also coming up on nearly seven straight hours of work, so that was completely understandable. By the end, most of the large furniture items were placed inside the house as requested, and the majority of the boxes were left neatly in the garage, which will make unpacking fairly manageable. Overall, great service, strong work ethic, and a crew that clearly knows what they're doing. I would absolutely recommend Peninsula Pack and Move, especially for more complex moves.

I would NOT recommend this company! I was quoted $175 hourly for a 28' truck and 3 guys and a…read moreminimum of two hours. An additional $50 was disclosed after they showed up. The workers were not efficient with packing the truck, layering things, one layer deep and then taking an unpacked load. This happened not once but twice, stretching out the hourly rate they were making. They did not hook up my washer and dryer as I was told they would and they damaged two pieces of furniture without disclosing they had. We ended up having to rent a U-Haul truck for two more days to finish what they weren't able to finish and this was after we had already packed a PODS container to the max in our driveway. So the stuff they were responsible for moving was mainly furniture. This is not the first time I have moved a moving company in Monterey County and so I had an idea of approximate cost and time. This company milked the clock, costing me more than twice what the move cost the previous time. At one point while moving some furniture at my old place, one of the movers voiced that he had stolen a piece of candy from me. I didn't think it was any big deal and laughed it off, but it made me wonder why he would do that and if he had done it before. When I attempted to contact the owner, David, I left a message, letting him know that I had issues and wanted to talk to him and rather than calling me back, he text me to tell me that he was really busy and that he was able to text. I would assume that being a local company wanting to make a great name, he would've contacted me back to figure out what happened and how he could make things better. The lack of upfront communication carelessness, and the fact that they took advantage of the situation is unacceptable. I expected better. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The service provided on June 27, was not $2500 worth. Do NOT book this company.

A few days before our move-out, Murphy's sent someone over to our home to take an inventory of how much stuff we had. They arrived at the time they stated they would be there, and not a minute later. It was a good first impression. On the day of the move out, Murphy's sent 3 movers: Saul, Mikey, and I don't remember the 3rd guys name (I feel so bad because all 3 guys were fantastic). They arrived exactly on time, and spent the WHOLE DAY packing our belongings. The movers were friendly, professional, treated our belongings with care. Every single item was tagged and written down on the inventory sheet. They disassembled items and had a whole box dedicated to parts, each set of pieces individually wrapped and labeled for us to easily reassemble them upon our arrival at our new home. While packing our belongings, they made sure to ask and make note of sentimental/valuable items. Saul went ahead and wrote down each serial number for each expensive electronic item they packaged (TV, microwave, desktop computer, etc). Upon arriving at our new duty station, not a SINGLE ITEM was broken or damaged apart from a light bulb and our cat tree that got bent. Every single item on the inventory sheet was accounted for. This was our first ever PCS so Murphy's was an excellent first taste of DoD contracted movers. We were really pleased with Mikey, Saul and the 3rd mover they sent out to us. The guys were professional, on time, and treated our belongings with care. They did an excellent job wrapping and packaging everything, and they were also very friendly.

They have a contract with the military-I recommend service members to ask for a change of carriers if they receive Murphy's Movers. If you are not a service member, do yourself a favor and find another company. I spoke with DAVID who allowed his team to leave my residence without fulfilling his obligation of unpacking my boxes and assembling my furniture. They showed up without the tools or intent to do so. UNACCEPTABLE. Given the opportunity to fix his errors, he preferred to deny the error, yell at me, and hang up. Very disappointed.

I said, "Are you sure you haven't received it, or can you check to see? We always mail them directly to vendors." He said "I wouldn't be asking if I did." If that was the case, he could have mentioned that he hasn't received payment and can't schedule a pickup until he does. Easy fix. Instead, he wasted both our time. Do yourself a favor - look up another company to call. P.S. I found out that he was in communication with our office a couple days prior to this interaction - where he admitted to moving their office address! UPS charges more because they charge around $1.50/pound and a banker's box is around 35 pounds, which could then run someone around $54 a box. Monterey Transfer only charges around $10 a banker's box. What a difference. Also for a very small extra fee, they'll let you watch the papers being shred on their very large industrial shredding machine on site. That alone is worth going with them. On top of all of this, their office staff was very professional on the phone and very friendly and kind in person. The building and site was clean and organized. Highly recommended and I would use them exclusively in the future.

It was your company who packed and picked up the 8,000 lbs from my residence. Your movers had intimate knowledge of the specific item that they rapped and put into a box call #7. It was your employee who acknowledged the exact item missing. My belongings were packed into standard military shipping crates. Your staff did not put the seals on them and I reported it to the TMO. No other company would have knowledge of what was in that one box out of 8,000 lbs. Your company took my 8,000 lbs out of the military crates at an unknown time. You transferred them to a company who loosely delivered them to me. It's a very unusual coincidence that out of 8,000 lbs of boxes, concealed boxes, only that one unique item is missing! I just want it back, no questions asked and no further headaches
