Unfortunately, I can't recommend Greener Steamer based on my experience. We hired them to clean carpet at one of our properties. After the initial cleaning, there were still visible spots remaining and a strong urine-like odor that had not been resolved. We contacted the company, and to their credit, they agreed to a follow-up visit. The purpose of rescheduling was so I could meet the technician on site, point out the remaining problem areas, and review the results together. That never happened. There was confusion regarding the technician's arrival time, and by the time I arrived at the property, no one was there. As a result, I never had the opportunity to walk through the concerns with the technician. I followed up with the office asking what areas had been treated and requested the technician's notes so I could understand what work had been performed. Rather than addressing those questions, I was simply told the follow-up was a "courtesy" and that there was nothing more they could do. I understand that not every stain can be removed, especially on an older carpet. My disappointment is with the lack of communication and the way my concerns were handled after the service. I expected a discussion about what was and wasn't possible--not to have my questions dismissed. Based on this experience, I would not use their services again. read more

Five star experience from start to finish! I reached out to Greener Steamer directly through Yelp and in a flash I heard back from Robert, the owner. He asked me a couple questions and was able to give me a price pretty quickly, which was extremely affordable in my opinion. A large area rug and my large three seater couch for $99. We made the appointment for a few days later, on a Monday afternoon and when the day came, Damon arrived right on time and was a pleasure to work with. I had all the furniture moved away from the area so he was able to get started right away and he was finished in under an hour. The results were great, particularly the couch. It looked so freakin' good. I had family in town a few days later that hadn't seen it in months and even they commented that it looked like a totally different color. I cannot be happier. Had Greener Steamer come out today to tackle my downstairs and my couches. We all know I have pets and kids in and out of this house. I'm amazed. WOW, what a difference Greener Steamer made in my home with their fantastic carpet cleaning. We moved to this home 9 years ago and this carpet in a light tan color was already installed here. We have had it cleaned a few times over the years but not for a while now. Our cat just passed away who sometimes got sick on the carpet as well and my bedroom was the worst in the whole house with spots galore to the point of being downright embarrassing. Greener Steamer was recommended by a friend, and I called them up for an appointment. They arrived right on time and went to work on our carpet explaining about the traffic patterns that would still be somewhat visible after cleaning and dry time. I contacted Greener Steamer to get my carpets cleaned for the move out process of my lease. I messaged them through yelp and they gave me a quote within an hour or two. I was impressed with their website being easily navigable and having up to date information on it (unlike several other carpet cleaning companies I looked at whose yelp pages didn't even have a valid URL listed). When they came back with a quote right around what 2 other places also quoted me, I knew they were offering a fair price. I decided to go with them over the other quotes because of their fast reply, good website, and their availability on the date I needed it. They told me that they would call me the day of the appointment, half an hour before the appointment to confirm. They called just like they said they would. When the appointment rolled around, Rob came out to do the service. He was prompt, even about 5 minutes early, and very courteous. He cleaned my bedroom and my living room (the only places I asked about) within 20 minutes, and was wrapping up within 15 minutes of the appointment start time. He mentioned that he also cleaned a tiny piece of carpet that he saw in my hall closet (was only about 2' x 2'). I thanked him and paid him in cash. He sent me an email with the receipt on the spot, so I had the receipt before he ever even left. Rob did a great job and was very personable. The technicians were very friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable. I am happy with the job they did and I also like that this is a family company. (The technicians were the nephews of the owner). My review is four stars instead of five because one of their two vans had a flat tire, causing them to be late. I completely understand that things happen and agreed to bump my appointment back two hours. They then text me to say it would be a half hour later. When that time came around, I hadn't heard anything so I called. They then told me 30-45 more minutes. Eventually, they made it out but it was 4.5 hours after my original appointment time. As I said, I realize things happen and I have no problem working around issues. I just feel as thought the communication could have been much better. They did, however, make it right and discount my services. Despite the inconvenience, I would definitely hire them again in the future and recommend them to others.
