After the initial cleaning, there were still visible spots remaining and a strong urine-like odor that had not been resolved. We contacted the company, and to their credit, they agreed to a follow-up visit. The purpose of rescheduling was so I could meet the technician on site, point out the remaining problem areas, and review the results together. That never happened. There was confusion regarding the technician's arrival time, and by the time I arrived at the property, no one was there. As a result, I never had the opportunity to walk through the concerns with the technician. I followed up with the office asking what areas had been treated and requested the technician's notes so I could understand what work had been performed. Rather than addressing those questions, I was simply told the follow-up was a "courtesy" and that there was nothing more they could do. I understand that not every stain can be removed, especially on an older carpet. My disappointment is with the lack of communication and the way my concerns were handled after the service. I expected a discussion about what was and wasn't possible--not to have my questions dismissed. Based on this experience, I would not use their services again.

I have had various companies come to clean my carpets over the years. We have about 2,500 sq ft of…read moreoff white carpet and two small dogs. When other cleaners who use tons of water cleaned our carpet, many of the stains would resurface within days. The smell of any pee that may have been on the carpet (though very little) would waft through the house until the carpet dried. And even when the floors had been cleaned, steamed, etc., within weeks, the carpets looked grungy. We have nylon carpet and were becoming very frustrated. We then called Tuthill's Quick Dry. We didn't understand how the carpets could be cleaned without tons of water, but when we saw the process, and the results, we couldn't believe our eyes. Every pee stain came out. There was no smell, other than the low amount of chemicals used (other carpet cleaners used a lot of chemicals and even said not to walk on the carpet barefoot for a couple of days). Jim Tuthill took his time to inspect the floor even before he began the tedious cleaning he did. Stains that NO OTHER cleaner could remove, were erased by Jim's understanding of each type of stain. He even 'trimmed' the carpet with special sheers when he found an uneveness. And most of the carpet throughout the house was dry by the time he left. UNBELIEVABLE! Jim was so polite and went above and beyond our expectations. He will be cleaning our carpets twice a year at least now. And he was less expensive than these so-called 'deals' I would fall into year after year. Give Jim a call. You will be thrilled at the results. Later that day we noticed that there was a dirty soiled cleaning rag left on top of our clean clothes that we had folded on a shelf. I also let the owner Daniel know about this. His was response was extremely unprofessional. He said "your place was pretty bad and my cleaners transformed your place and youre making a big deal about a rag?" I will say also he sent me $50 back but after his insulting unprofessional response I would prefer a professional accomodating reply instead of any money back. It was really great they do not charge for that service even if you do not order. It took a bit for the quote and I did change my mind on the carpet selection due to cost so I needed an updated quote. The price was pretty comparable to other places in guestimation as I didn't have anyone else do an exact measurement. They also have a great selection of flooring of all types. I scheduled installation and was told it would be an all day job - 3 bedrooms, stairs, and hallway. I also paid for them to move the furniture. The all day job contractors did not show up until well after 12. I wasted a morning of vacation from work waiting on them. They were there until about 8pm which was very irritating. Afterwards I noticed some seams were a bit noticable. The sales person came out to look (did not show on the first scheduled date) and said he would send someone out to work the seams a bit. We scheduled a time and they did not show. I called and never got a response. I also noticed some damage to the furniture but by that point I'm sure nothing would have been done. I love supporting smaller more local businesses but I'm not sure I would recommend or return. Too bad as I do have more flooring to replace.

He made damages to my bathroom sink on removal and damaged my sub floor directly in front of my stove. He either poorly mixed the mortar or mixed it with other product than Schluter and ruined 550 dollars of underlayment and caused us to have to demo the mortar. He is knowledgeable of all the damages his company made and has refused to return our money. horror story don't do it!
