Communication with Alex was great. He called half an hour before he arrived and arrived right at the time we agreed on. After a quick tour to show the areas we wanted cleaned, Alex shared his recommendation with me on what he would do. He did make sure to let me know he would be cleaning a smaller area than we agreed on and adjusted the price. He also told me that if we found any spots after his cleaning to let him know and he would come back out and take care of them. I highly recommend Alex because he was personable and professional. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review they just dumped the lint and dog hair at the end of my driveway and didn't clean it up. I am a little baffled by all of the positive reviews. Pros: friendly quick reply, came on the weekend Cons: they RUINED an extremely expensive wool rug. If they were not equipped to clean this type of material then they should not have cleaned it. They are the experts. They drug the cleaning device so aggressively across the rug over and over that the rug now looks 10 years old instead of it's actual age of 1. They were unable to remove a stain (which is understandable) but the solution they soaked it in made it MUCH worse. I am devastated that this investment piece of a rug is ruined. Side-note worth mentioning. They did not remove their shoes or use booties and walked through our house and on our rugs with dirty shoes. Didn't wear face masks. Honestly seemed very unprofessional. Would NOT recommend. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

He called to confirm the time window, then called to let me know he was running late, then called again to give me 30 minutes notice. He was great and did a wonderful job on our carpet. He is very affordable. We also asked him about cleaning a sofa, loveseat and 4 stools. He quoted and cleaned them once he was done with the carpet. The stains are all gone and we are very happy. Actually 4 1/2. The job was done better than anticipated due to the age and stains on the carpet. Yeah...have not been in the best of health the last couple years so everything has gone to Hell in the proverbial hand basket. This next bit is not to be construed as a political statement and is the sole reason for the 1/2 score. The owner did the carpets, had his shoes covered; however, was not masked. I asked if he was vaccinated and he said he wasn't so he complied with my request to mask. We are both older and not in the best of health, so we take as few risks as possible. Other than that, a pleasing experience and will use again if I/we live long enough. :) read more

Though not to expect that every time, he provided an hour ahead as requested. Russell the Carpet Technican was professional and friendly. The areas needing cleaned was a vacant store space so he was able to efficiently clean. I normally do not post middle of the road reviews but I really wanted to post this. First of all I want to say that they did a fantastic job on our carpet. The problem is the first time we tried to book with them it was a no-show/ no call.... but when I called they rescheduled us right away and gave us a discount. That being said the real issue I'm having is when they were here something got broken. They did offer us a discount but it wasn't for as much as the item that was broken. Easily forgiven. My issue is when I mentioned it got broken they kind of tried to blame it on my daughter that was here. Even after I told them we had a camera and reviewed it... they Still denied it. At the end of the day instead of all the discounts It would've been nice if they Would have just admitted that they broke it and possibly offered to replace the item. It was very special to me. UPDATE: as soon as the post went up p the owner called and we spoke about the miscommunication between the technicians and the office. Thank you for your honesty sir. There are not enough businesses out there that would resolve something like this on a Sunday....your day off. Best of luck....we will be using you again. read more

They scheduled me from 7 AM to 9 AM and did not show nor return calls but then without notice showed up around 12:30 PM. Several spots still remain on the carpet and it doesn't appear he did the front of each steps. They also don't move furniture is there was only one man. The service technician was pleasant and nice I just don't think this is a company I would use in the future. read more

DO NOT USE THEM!!! I would give 0 stars if possible. Scheduled an appointment to get carpet and couches cleaned. Appointment came and went and when we called we were told that "He must've forgot to put you on the schedule". No apologies, no reason or attempt to reconcile their failure and even less attempt to reschedule. Even funnier is when we canceled the "rescheduled" on the website we get a call within minutes to confirm!? I guess they are more concerned about cancellations than trying to build their business. I am not usually one to review businesses, but my horrible experience with this business made it exceptionally necessary. If you actually want a business to show up and clean your carpet during the time you scheduled with them, I'd take your money and time and look elsewhere. A week and a half ago I scheduled an appointment on Friday between 4-6pm because that was the only appointment they had available the whole week. I booked my work meetings around this appointment so I could be available between 4-6pm. The company called me at 2pm saying they had numerous cancellations during the day and unless I could move my appointment earlier in the day, they had to reschedule. Moving my appointment earlier wasn't an option since I planned my whole work day around the only appointment they had available the ENTIRE WEEK. Then the owner called me and apologized, saying that he had to send his technician home because he doesn't work on hourly pay and it wouldn't have been worthwhile for him to wait for my appointment - essentially, saying my appointment, as a paying customer, was unimportant to their business. read more

I had contacted four companies regarding my move-out carpet cleaning, and The Carpet Doctors were both the lowest priced and the first available for the job. The gentleman who cleaned our rugs was on time, and got everything done quickly. I moved as much as possible off the floors since the company does not move furniture, but ideally this would be done in empty rooms; I just had zero time or desire to coordinate a carpet cleaning appointment along with movers on the same day and was required by my lease to have them professionally shampooed.
