We found a coupon for 4 rooms to be cleaned for 135 so contacted Master Clean to clean 4 rooms... here is how that went: My appointment was to be between 10:00-12:00. Van rolled up to our door at 10:05. Star for promptness Brian came in. Was friendly, professional and surveyed the rooms he was going to clean. Explained what he was going to and where he was going to start. Another star for that. Helped move a few things. Cleaned the carpet, put up with our tiny dog. Was super nice to our spoiled dog... very much appreciated that. Another star. Came downstairs cleaned the family room, the room where the dogs run into full of mulch. Yes dyed dark brown. So imagine the paw stained carpet. IT CAME OUT! Star for sure Very happy! Price was reasonable and no hidden costs. Another star Carpet is still kind of wet. Think it should been a bit drier by now considering its 6pm but think thats cuz I haven't been running the heat high enough. So if i could Id deduct a half star So 4.5 stars? I worked at masterclean for 3 weeks and quit when I found out that people aren't getting what they pay for. Employees get paid per job so they half ass everything to get as many jobs as possible. I've personally seen them say they moved all furniture but didn't move anything and said they used stain guard when it was deodorizer. Masterclean is all about money and I was let go for not rushing the job and charging people for things I didn't do or they didn't pay for. read more

I called Master Clean and spoke to get an estimate scheduled for getting my air ducts and carpets/floors cleaned prior to moving my house. I was thankfully able to get an estimate scheduled and they were good at providing a follow up reminder to my appointment. I showed up to my house and was waiting patiently for someone to show up for an estimate, and an hour into the window (4 hour window) I get a call saying that they had an emergency situation, needed to cancel and push the appointment out 1 week. Although they were apologetic, and I understand in the time of Covid things happen and emergencies happen, but if they couldn't fit me in, I would have appreciated a call before my appointment. read more

Valpak works :) I wanted my couch and love seat cleaned but the pricing from some competitors were $100 more than what their ad was in valpak. I called and quickly made an appointment which was within 2 days of my calling. They called the morning of and gave me a time window. They were there on time and were in and out within the time window. The two young men that came were happy, friendly, and professional. Even asked about if my dog and cat would be ok if the door was cracked, which I thought was very thoughtful Would definitely recommend them! Let me start by saying, in the past have used Master clean and the two gentleman that came before were extremely kind. This time was nothing of the sort! I was told I would have a window of 2:30-4:30. Great, the carpet cleaner Damon arrived at 2:35ish and he came inside. I told him I had not received an update of what time exactly he would be here . He said "I just come I dont know anything else" I said "okay." He then asks me what I would liked he cleaned. I show him our front room and dining room. Our front room has some kids slides in which I tell him he can easily slide around the room(they are toddler slides) or I can move for him and there is a random table in the corner. I tell him just do what he can . He then looks around and huffs and puffs and says to me "I mean I dont know what you want me to do here like I'm not your "f****** molly maid!" I look at him and say you know what , never-mind on the service today . He said " are you sure?" I said "absolutely get out of my house right now." I will NEVER recommend Master Clean to anyone . This is unprofessional behavior and should not be tolerated. Do not come into my home and treat me this way! I have never been talked to by someone in such a way. They have since spoken with me and offered to have the manager come out and clean but I just will be cutting ties completely. read more

Part 2: Today, Javon came to clean my upstairs carpets. He was extremely professional and fast! I had worked all morning to try to move things out of his way to make the job as easy as possible, yet, there were a couple of things to be managed. Javon took care of my furniture and placed protective coverings under everything. I also asked him if he could do the area rug in the master bedroom [not planned] and he took care of it with only an added charge of $15. Awesome! Scheduling: due to illness I had to reschedule twice. Master Clean's office was understanding and we worked it out. They called this morning to see if they could move my appointment to the 10:30-12 time slot vs. the 12-2 and I stepped up my efforts to repay the favor. Before leaving, Javon explained the dry time and said I should keep the house cool to facilitate the process. Super easy transaction. All in all, my experience with Master Clean was 5 stars! The cost was very reasonable, it was less than I expected, no surprise add ons when it came time to pay the bill, and the carpets look great! But the reason I was prompted to post on Yelp was Ryan's professionalism, kindness and customer service oriented attitude. He was very patient with my yappy dog, I mean he was really nice to the old barky girl! And he was so respectful and patient with my elderly Mom. The tech (Damon) was nice enough, but really I could have cleaned it better with my steam cleaners. I was hoping having a professional would have better results. It smelled musty after he left and there was many spots (purple washable marker) that I got up after he left. Again he was nice enough, but won't I won't be using their services again. POSITIVES I received the 'heads up' call of when they would arrive, the service tech was on time, friendly and seemed competent. NEGATIVES There are just two of us living here...our dog passed away before we had this carpet installed three years ago, so it just needed it's annual cleaning. We purchased the deodorizer/Scotchguard extras so that it would smell fresh and resist stains. Our carpet smelled like dank dirty water for days! We noticed that the Master Clean truck also smelled exactly like that, and my husband commented to the tech that it smelled like very dirty water. The tech assured him that they use clean water with shampoo for every customer, but we are doubting his claim. He also left a whole lot of that dirty-smelling moisture in the carpet--we had to run the dehumidifier for a couple of days just to make it dry enough to walk on. I don't think I'll hire them again; I think I'm going to buy a heavy duty Bissel home carpet shampooer and not rely on 'professionals' anymore. read more

I had a really great experience with MasterClean today. I have never used their service and I am glad I took a chance. The tech that came out was Tom. He was so amazing and friendly. We had a great conversation and he was very informative on how to take care of my carpet between cleanings. One of my dogs had a UTI and had accidents all over the carpet. The price for 2 rooms was a little pricey, taking that I didn't want the entire room done, just the traffic areas and "accident" areas, but Toms friendliness and service made it worth it. Arrived on time, 2 man crew, were polite, and did a good job. Removed a couple of tough stains I could not get out using my portable steam cleaner. SHORT VERSION: Very polite and thorough guys who came out to clean. Not-very-polite folks on the phone when you're setting things up. So-so results. LONG VERSION: I had Master Clean do 2 area rugs, 1 room of carpet, a cream sectional sofa that was beat to h*ll, and an oversized chair/ottoman. Carpets are good. I saw next-to-no difference in the sofa and chair/ottoman. I realize they had some wear and some areas that were dirty/discolored, but I can't tell the difference in the before/after, except for a few specific spots where there were coffee/food stains on the white sofa. Same with the oversized chair. Maybe they were pieces that couldn't be helped, but I guess I was expecting something more. The folks on the phone are not the jolliest. They almost always seem annoyed or exasperated when you call. I called the morning-of my appt to see if I could push my appt b/c I'd had a meeting come up and couldn't be home, and they were not flexible at all. I will say, there was one guy named (Dave, I think) I talked to who was very upbeat and polite. The guys who came out to clean were extremely considerate and polite, and very thorough. They did their best and I really appreciated that, and offered to go back over any areas I wasn't happy with. $220 later and I have things that look exactly the same, but are probably cleaner and smell better. read more

We were moving into our new house and wanted the carpets steam cleaned before moving in. After contacting a few companies, we decided on Master Clean. I've read that some people didn't have positive experiences over the phone, but I thought their customer service was great! The employees I spoke to on the phone were really helpful and patient when answering all of my questions. We needed our living room, 3 bedrooms, stairs, and upstairs hallway steam cleaned, so that counted as 6 rooms. There was a special deal going on and the price was very fair! When you set up the appointment, they give you a 5 hour window of when they might be coming, but they would call early in the morning to give you a 2 hour time frame. They called me around 7:15am the day of the appointment and said there was a cancellation and that they could come in between 10:30am-12:30pm. The cleaners arrived at 10:30am. It took them about 45 minutes to finish the 6 rooms. They seemed very thorough and efficient and were really polite! We were really pleased with the way our carpets turned out! I hired Masterclean to clean my small sofa, which I've had for 7 years and never had cleaned (ick). I chose them somewhat on a whim as there are very few Yelp reviews of upholstery cleaners. They were polite and personable over the phone and in person. They even came a little early (but not before calling first to make it was ok) and finished quickly. Tom and Dave came to clean my sofa and they were friendly and professional. The sofa looks brand new. I only am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because this was a first time experience, but I plan to call them again when I need my upstairs carpet cleaned. I had called Master clean out to clean a sofa, no arm chair, small stool. I'm son was home and called me up when they arrived so the gentleman that came informed me that the seat cushions were a different color then the sofa and he could not change the color back.. I said I understand that I would likeit cleaned the best he could. When I arrived home it smelled horrible in there. and not only was the sofa bed was soaking wet but there was whitestuff all over my floor, and theded of the sofa and the metal inside, and still dirty. As well as the pillows and stool.. He only went over the top of thestool and chair.. I sent an email with my regret of calling me the secretary insisted they come back out with the same man and the man in charge.or owner something..I didn't want them out again but she said this is the only way they learn. well the two should up left there shoes on walking on my carpet and was here maybe 15 minutes after they couldn't clean it they told me because the material of my couch was not cleanable. they made my sofa wet again as they tried to spotclean spots on my pillows and they added this substance that stayed behind they said it woukddry when I pointed it out and I wouldn't see it...However it is still there.. NO PROTECTION! The men who cleaned my carpet were friendly and professional. I added carpet protection at a significant cost, but wanted to avoid any stains. Unfortunately, 10 days after service, my dog wet the carpet. In the time I grabbed paper towels, it had soaked in completely! I tested the "protection" with a bit of water and timed it to less than 1 minute to completely soak in!! Master Clean told me the protection was only for food, not spills!!! They were very curt on phone and would not offer any resolution. I have used Master Clean many times in past, but will not again. read more

They were very nice on the phone and they showed up at the beginning of their window. They also were able to Scotch Guard all of the rooms in our home for $50 which was a great deal! The ladies in the office..The tech who came out was nice and did a really fast job of the carpet. I told him i would come show him where some stains may be and he addressed that after he was all done. The problem is when i called and spoke to the lady who said...dont tell me anything i have been doing this for 30 years..I had the coupon for 4 rooms for 109 $ I told her hall way, bedroom, living room and rec room...She with all her 30 years of knowledge said is the rec room more then 250 sq ft ???? Hell i don't know i said, it is just a little bigger then our 17 x 13 living room..She said WELL that sounds bigger then 250sq ft and will be an additional charge. So I said no thank you, I will just do 3 rooms. So we moved ALL our living room and some bedroom furniture into the rec room to make it easier for the guys. Now I have been a Master Clean customer for 18 years and try to help out the guys and the last time it was a married young couple and me and my wife gave them a $20 tip for lunch. This time the guy says I have you down for 4 rooms..I tell him the story and he looks at the Rec room and says sir this is just 1 area . It would NOT be an additional charge..TOO LATE...Room is filled with furniture from trying to help...NOW I PAY $114 for 3 rooms...The ladies on the phone are Rude, harsh and obviously BURNDT OUT on their job...BE NICE before you lose more customers...I will not get played again... read more

I have to say that my first choice in carpet and furniture cleaning for at least 15 years, has been Master Clean. I've never had a problem with them myself, and so I've recommended them to family, friends and coworkers. I won't be doing that anymore after my last two appointments. I hate this because they have such good prices and have always done such a good job for me, at times on short notice. It pains me to now have to find a new company with good prices, flexible hours and trustworthy employees, but my most recent experience was horrible. I feel like I paid $200 for someone to come in and blow so hot water on my couches and leave. I didn't expect brand new couches, in fact I figured we still would need to get rid of one, but I was scratching stuff off my couches with my fingers after they dried. The service tech left quick and left his wet towels on the floor. It was an awful job and We are looking now for another company to rely on for future work, and to probably actually clean these couches again. Terrible customer service!!!! The technician cleaned my sofa for 2-3 hours. He was nice and polite, but, I found lots of water on my new hardwood floor during the cleaning and, the worst thing is, when the cleaning was done, the hose connector was off on the floor by his mistake (he didn't notice it was off for a while), so lots of water came out from the hose and damaged the floor. Accordingly, I spoke with a customer service rep., David, about this issue on the phone. As soon as he heard my problem, his first response was that it is impossible to damage my hardwood floor. He said that his company has been working for 30 years and doesn't have any problem like this at all. He blamed me that I damaged the floor with water before the service. (This is new floor and I never used water to clean the floor.) I asked him to come and review the damage because anyone will see this is water damage during the cleaning, as compared with other areas on my floor. He strongly denied to come. He said that he knows better than me and doesn't have to look at. Thus, I called the contractor who installed our hardwood floor. He came to my house in that evening and measured the humidity of that wet floor and determined the wood damage due to the water cleaning. He asked me $400 for repair. The customer representative was very rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. He neither listened my problem or wanted to help me at all. He kept repeating his statements above. At the end of our conversation, he threatened me that, if I don't pay the service fee, he would hire an attorney, and told me that he disagreed with me and our conversation was over and hung up the phone. This morning, my husband called the company and found that he put the comment about my complaint that I damaged the floor with water. He even lied!!!!!!! Terrible customer representative! I made a small claim for this cost. I know I will get it because of a plenty of evidences to prove the wood damage during the cleaning. read more

Mater Clean came highly recommended by a fried of mine so figured I would give them a shot. I contacted Master Clean through their website for pricing, they called me back within a few hours. They were polite, I have no complaints like other reviewers stated. I scheduled for cleaning on Friday. They came out on time, everything went well. The guy cleaning was professional and took care of everything. I have 2 dogs so there were some pet stains I could not get out in my living room carpet. He seemed to have no problem with the stains, the carpet looks great. I had 2 bedrooms done as well, one bedroom had some pen and other stains from a teenager, same thing, the stains came out no problem, carpet looks great. I also had a couch and love-seat cleaned. My dogs took over the love-seat so there was A LOT of fur on it. The couch had less fur. I know from vacuuming the fur is tough to get out of them. I believe the dog smell is pretty much gone but the fur is mostly gone. Not sure if my expectations were a little too high there or if it could have been done a little better. So, overall I am very happy with the service and the staff. If the review were only on the carpet cleaning it would be 5 stars. I went with 4 because I am mostly happy with the furniture cleaning.
