I did not receive the early morning call with E.T.A. as promised, so I called them late morning. They put me on hold for about 5 minutes and eventually were able to give me a time frame. The tech was pleasant, he arrived on time, he was a hard worker- but I'm not sure about the quality of the service they provided. It didn't seem to really truly clean the rugs, they still smell like dog. This is new-ish good quality carpet, only four years old. Maybe next time get the extra deodorizer package? Or I might rent a steam cleaner from Kroger. read more

My husband and I have used Master Clean several times and have always been satisfied. This time, we had some water in our basement that got part of our carpet in 2 rooms wet so after it dried out, I wanted the carpet cleaned. Steve, the manager that came out actually pulled the carpet back for me to inspect the water damage. He showed me that the padding and tac strips needed to be ripped out and completely replaced in certain areas. He cleaned and treated the carpet in both rooms along the basement wall where the water came in but recommended that I get the dry rotting issue taken care of right away before we encounter mold issues. I had them come out and clean a larger sectional and clean the grout on our large kitchen area. The tech was very polite and worked his ass off (especially on the grout.) The results weren't just acceptable or good, they were perfect. If youve ever scrubbed grout, you know its not easy. The price was fair for the amount of effort the job required. read more

We are extremely satisfied with the carpet cleaning services Master Clean provided for us. They called us early in the day with an estimated time of arrival, they showed up right on time and we're done with the job in less than an hour. Javaughn was very thorough with his work and left the carpets looking good as new when he was finished. The technician who came out was very nice and hard-working. However, he did not have the right equipment to complete the job. This required a second visit. Another night for us to sit around and wait for the carpet cleaners to show up at our house. When they called to set up the second visit, I suggested that they could make this better by reducing the price of the cleaning. This was clearly not going to happen! Not only this, but it was clear that my story was not even going to be listened to. The woman on the phone spent most of the conversation talking over me, not listening to me. It was clear that me having to spend a second evening waiting in my house was not something they were interested in compensated me for. I guess my time has no value to them. She got the last word on the phone, but I'll get the last word with my business. I'll take my business somewhere else. Better work on your customer service! read more

Was a long time customer.... I mean very long. Used them on several properties throughout the year. I have NEVER been spoken to so rudely in all of my life as I was when I called in to inquire as to why my appointment time was changed. I was quickly dismissed, told I was wrong, and that their staff of 10+ years never makes mistakes. I in turn couldn't believe what was just said to me and cancelled my appointment. I've had other companies clean my carpets in the past, but Masterclean consistently gets them cleaner than anyone else we've used. The techs are professional and very courteous. After they cleaned them today, the tech asked, "Is there any place you'd like me to go over again?" I pointed to three spots where the dog sits to make sure the stench was removed (he had them looking spotless already) and he was very happy to go back over them again. I've never had anything but good experiences with Masterclean and I've used them for 10+ years. read more

I originally got a Living Social deal for a different cleaning company but after finding out it would be a month before they could help me I decided to check out a company. I had read very positive reviews for Master Clean and noticed they were BBB accredited among other things so tried them out. The staff were very friendly and efficient and could even get me in the following day! I had several carpet areas cleaned, some pieces of furniture and the interior of my car and was amazed at the results! The stains from the carpet were gone, the furniture looked good and the interior or my car looked new. Thank you Master Clean! read more

We had our air ducts cleaned by D&J Master clean on 08/14/2017. We had a coupon for their service from our local flyer and saw several good reviews for them online nd asked them to come out for an estimate. We felt comfortable with the individual who came out and he gave us a reasonable estimate, so we scheduled some time for them to come out and clean our air ducts. They cleaned our air ducts and everything seemed fine at first. When my wife went to the basement a few hours after they left she found water leaking from our furnace and a stream of it running the length of our basement to the floor drain. Our Trane furnace is only a couple of years old and has never done that before so we thought it must have something to do with the duct cleaning. She called their office and they indicated that they don't go into the furnace or air conditioner and that it must be condensation. We weren't sure about that answer so we left a message the technician who came out and gave us the estimate because he seemed like he knew what he as talking. At the same time we called our heating and cooling company to come out and to perform the annual maintenance check on our system and to look at the leakage to see if they could determine what it was. They came out the next day and found all kinds of debris on and around the coils. They cleaned out debris from the coil area and unclogged the drain pipe which was clogged with debris. The Master Clean technician happened to call us back after our HVAC company left and explained that they don't go into the furnace except to clean debris from the coil area after everything is blown through the ductwork to the vacuum. He was surprised when we told him debris is exactly what was found in and around our coils and drain pipe and that he would talk to the owner about it. We have yet to We understand that mistakes are made and this is something that happens to all companies but we also know that good companies make an effort to talk to their customers if there is an issue or complaint. We would not recommend using Master Clean to clean air ducts. Hopefully they clean carpets with more diligence read more

I hired Master Clean to clean 4 rooms. When I scheduled the appointment, I explained that the carpets were heavily stained. When the technicians arrived, I asked them if they could remove the stains and they replied they were the best. The technicians were very polite however, the stains gradually reappeared. Master Clean came out to work on the stains that reappeared a few days later. However, less than 2 weeks later, all the stains reappeared. When I asked for my money back, they said the stains were "pre-existing". How stupid is that. Of course they were pre-existing, that's why I hired them in the first place. I could see not refunding my money the stains were post-existing. They wanted to come a third time and I explained to them that my father is an invalid so having them come again is very disruptive to his care. Needless to say getting the stains out was only temporary as the exact stains came right back. All I did was inconvenience my dad and wasted my money. I will never use them again and do not recommend this company unless you need a temporary coverup of stains. read more
