Very disappointing experience. I took my car here for repairs, but after they worked on it, my car broke down in the middle of the road and became undrivable. I don't believe they properly diagnosed or repaired the problem. The prices were too high, the customer service was poor, and the restroom was extremely dirty. Go elsewhere!!!! You have been warned!!! Horrible experience working with this company. Really bad customer service and poor quality. Had to use a different company to fix the repairs and because of all the issues they made the project take over a month longer. I hired them to cut glass for me, order tracks, and locks in frames. They ended up sending me wrong sizes for the glass and cut all but two of the tracks in half. The wheels are going bad already(was told they would hold the weight). The locks weren't in the frames, they had to attach to the frames. They added rubber inserts instead of silicone. Then told me afterwards that I can silicone them if I want instead of them doing what they said they would do. They ordered replacement glass to fix the ones I couldn't get to fit (thankfully I had 3 sizes and I was able to get the smaller cuts to fit in the medium spots, and the medium cuts to fit in the larger spots). The replacement pieces were cut wrong also. I ended up using Rocklin Glass to barely finish before the stores grand opening. They were a way better experience! Lost over $10,000 on this job and they have still done nothing to fix this( reimbursement for having to use a different company, fix the frames, fix the rubber pieces(needs silicone). Again I warn you....Steer clear!!!! read more

This place is awesome...they replaced the "single hung" windows on my rental house that was built in the 1950's (irregular construction) and did a clean and professional water-tight installation--my tenants are very happy. They gave me a quote (fair price), ordered 2 windows (high quality) with a 1/4" variation between the two for an exact fit and then came out a few weeks later as originally agreed upon and got it done efficiantly. A two hour job turned into an all day wait.....I ordered shutters for my window and he didn't put the right measurement for the window break. Had to return the shutters to get them redone. On 2/11/2015 I brought my brand new car to this installer to have all my windows tinted. The gentleman seemed to be nice enough and seemed to have and accent which I would say is from either Russian or Armenian descent. We engaged in small talk and finally came to an agreed price. This person was also going to be the one to install the actual film on the vehicle. The work took about 2.5 hours to complete. I picked up the vehicle late afternoon and early evening and it was twilight by the time it was ready. Upon pick up, the installer said that there was going to be small bubbles and a hazy look to the film as it needed to dry. This was not my first installation and I could already tell there was something amiss. I decided to wait until the next day and daylight. The following day, it was clear how much of a nightmare job this was. I was shocked to say the least. There was clear contamination (specks of dust) on ALL the windows and extreme distortion from the bubbles. I also noticed that the vinyl seams were damaged by a heat gun as well as razor blades. This individual not only did a horrible job with the installation but had also damaged my brand new vehicle. I decided to bring the vehicle to another tint film installer to have a second opinion. He proceeded to tell me that it was one of the worst tint jobs he had seen in recent times. He also showed me other areas that were damaged by the installer. He actually felt so bad about it that he offered to testify in court should I decide to sue the other installer. Keep in mind, I have never met this person before. So, I went back the Greenback Glass and proceeded to show the installer where he had gone wrong. From the very start, the installer deflected any responsibility even though I was directly showing him his mistakes. He then started to acknowledge the errors but claimed that "it's never going to be perfect". I told him that for the $205 I paid him I expected it to be perfect as he made no waivers as to the quality of the work before i paid him. Deflect, deflect, deflect. That was his M.O. He tried multiple times to take me away from my car to show me work he had done on his own truck, which by the way was just as bad. I finally told him that I wanted him to take the film off of my car and get a full refund. He declined to do either. After further discussion, he finally agreed to pay me half back. I said no way. he then conceded and agreed to pay me the full price but that I would have to remove the film myself. I agreed to that. He refused to accept any responsibility for the damage to my seals. At that point, I took my refund. Upon returning home, I removed the tint film from my windows and it was a huge mess removing the adhesive. Hours worth of work. No wonder he didn't want to remove it himself. The fim itself was cheap. The kind you might find at any automotive supply store. Terrible quality. I strongly recommend that you do not go here to have your automotive windows tinted. The work was terrible and the guy does not stand by his work. It took me almost 20 minutes just to convince him to refund me my money and I lost hours of my time dealing with the aftermath, let alone the damage to my brand new $30k vehicle. He is also contradictive, evasive, and not professional. I would even use the word con artist. This is my opinion. I have stated the facts with my experience with this company as well as my opinion to hopefully warn people about what kind of service they can expect. read more

My dad brought his car into Andy at Greenback Glass to have his car windows tinted. He opted for the best quality and highest priced film. When he picked his car up there were small air bubbles covering 3 out of the 5 windows he had done. Andy claimed they would dissipate over the following week and he also stated that they offer a lifetime warranty against such issues and to bring it back if they remained after a week. After a week the bubbles hadn't disappeared at all so my dad brought the car back to Andy and he refused to rectify the problem stating that there was nothing to be done due to the window being "pitted on the inside". No refund was given and Andy did nothing to please his extremely disappointed customer. So I guess the "lifetime warranty" is fictitious and enter into such agreement with Greenback Glass at your own risk! read more

I when there the other week stressed out because I couldn't find anyone to cut glass to replace a single pane in my broken window I was told by other Glass companies that nobody cuts glass anymore. I call Green back glass thinking what do I have to lose they probably don't cut glass and the second I asked them if they can replace a pane in the window frame they said they can and not only was it brief but they got the job done quick at a reasonable price. Terrible. Came in to fix a small rock chip on my windshield today. He tells me he has to inform me that there is a small chance of cracking the windshield, but that its NEVER happened to him ever and not to worry about it... not 5 minutes later he comes out and asks me what my insurance deductible is!! He shows me my windshield now has a 2 foot crack across it. When I asked him what he was going to do about it he tells me "I told you there was a 1 in 1000 chance of this happening" and then proceeds to repeat that like a mantra saying he never told me that it has never happened to him. Needed glass installed on a frame for my off-road vehicle. Brought my own glass that was precut but it didn't fit . The person working who I believe was the owner told me he could attempt to cut the glass to fit . & that if it broke he would not be responsible. So of course I'm thinking it would somehow break . I was in desperate need of a new windshield for my WRX. My deductible was too high to go through my insurance company so I had some serious price shopping to do to make sure I got the best deal. Safelite wanted $350 before tax WITH a military discount and I had to wait two weeks. I drove by Greenback Glass and decided to call for a quote and I am so glad I did. They were able to get me my windshield for $223 and tint it for me for free! I only had to wait one day. When I got there they promptly got to work while I waited in their cute lounge area. There were no surprise charges at the end and they were finished in about 45 minutes. Great auto tinting. Had my truck's windows tinted here two years ago and they are still as perfect as the first day.

I would not even give him one star. We had him put a windshield into our RV before we left on a trip. During our trip across the US the windshield started to come apart from the seal. It's was very frightening. When we came back we called him and he came to fix it and again the same problem. We gave him another chance and let him install a windshield for our work truck and same garbage. When we took it back to him he denied that he had originally done the work. Pure garbage. Got two small mirrors for a Christmas gift I was making where the image and wording would come through from the back. From what I paid, I guess if you don't spend a lot you will get what you pay for. Took the glass then to an engraver and they told me that the backing that was on it would destroy the mirror if pulled off. This glass dealer thought I wouldn't say anything, but I am, on Yelp.
