Bernie gave us a good estimate and made great accommodations to fit the job into our schedule. The crew showed up on time. They were professional. They worked hard. To protect our belongings, they covered everything below the tree with tarps. I was so impressed when I watched them work and saw how high into the tree they climbed to do this job. It was clear that Bernie and the crew made every effort to do the job well and safely for the crew as well as our property. The job was done in a single day which considering the access was amazing. The clean-up was thorough and they put everything on the patio back to its original place. Based on our experience, I would recommend Chico Tree Service to friends, neighbors and family.

I recently came across a public Facebook exchange involving this business and found the response…read morefrom the page highly unprofessional. When a customer or commenter pushed back lightly on a political claim, the business replied with personal insults about the person's appearance and weight. That kind of language has no place in customer-facing communication. It reflects poorly on the nursery, damages trust, and makes potential customers question whether they want to support a business that handles disagreement this way. Suggestion: Keep public comments focused on the topic, stay civil even when challenged, and avoid personal attacks. Professionalism in online interactions is part of the customer experience. A simple, measured reply would have been far more effective and would have protected the business's reputation. --- This stays factual, points out the specific problem, and offers a clear improvement without insults or exaggeration. Cleanup was very thorough, pricing was really reasonable. They even made sure my dog stayed in the yard while the gates were open. I had them out to trim my 40' palm tree. They took out two dead oak trees, took more than ten feet off of two of my ash trees. The yard looks so much better now. And I feel ready for the winter. They took the time to make sure the huge ash trees are balanced and completely off the roof line. They worked really safely around my house while taking away a lot of complicated arms on the tree. I'm really happy with their work. They were more reasonable on price than anyone else I called. I called 7 others. Thanks a lot!

They also removed a dozen trees, some smaller, some larger. They did excellent work, at a great price. Fast forward two years, we had an enormous limb fall on top of our house. It was clear that the remaining tree was not safe. Robert and his crew professionally removed the tree.
