Bernie gave us a good estimate and made great accommodations to fit the job into our schedule. The crew showed up on time. They were professional. They worked hard. To protect our belongings, they covered everything below the tree with tarps. I was so impressed when I watched them work and saw how high into the tree they climbed to do this job. It was clear that Bernie and the crew made every effort to do the job well and safely for the crew as well as our property. The job was done in a single day which considering the access was amazing. The clean-up was thorough and they put everything on the patio back to its original place. Based on our experience, I would recommend Chico Tree Service to friends, neighbors and family.

I had them come out yesterday to cut down 15 trees, trim other trees, clean up old, fallen limbs…read moreand haul away large piles of leaves and horse manure. They had come out the afternoon before to give us an estimate, after having just spoken to me on the phone that morning. They gave me a reasonable bid and offered to do the work the very next day. At the agreed upon time of 8:30, they promptly began the work. They did everything they promised and then some. I was raking more leaves on my property and they told me that they would do it for me. They not only completed the contracted work, but used a blower to clean all of the leaves around our chicken coop, trees and driveway, then raked them up and hauled everything away. My husband and I were working on moving top soil to our front yard by wheelbarrow and they offered to use their Bobcat to distribute the dirt for us at no extra cost. That kind gesture saved me a lot of time as well as my back! I highly recommend this wonderful family business to everyone who needs tree service and yard clean-up work. Diana F.

Very unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude!…read more I made two appointments within a week with this woman, Olga. She didn't bother to show up for the first one, didn't text or call to apologize. In spite of that, I contacted her again and rescheduled. Same thing again, no show, no text or call. That's about as unprofessional as it gets. After reading some of the one-star reviews here, I guess it's a good thing after all.

They used my ladder and left it laying in the yard, it's very heavy. Jonathan said he would cut the wood in 16 inch lengths, but only cut up some of it. Cleanup was shoddy and they left my gate open, would I hire him again, no. Would not recommend his service, nor recommend using this site when in need of help. I recently came across a public Facebook exchange involving this business and found the response…read morefrom the page highly unprofessional. When a customer or commenter pushed back lightly on a political claim, the business replied with personal insults about the person's appearance and weight. That kind of language has no place in customer-facing communication. Suggestion: Keep public comments focused on the topic, stay civil even when challenged, and avoid personal attacks. Professionalism in online interactions is part of the customer experience. A simple, measured reply would have been far more effective and would have protected the business's reputation. --- This stays factual, points out the specific problem, and offers a clear improvement without insults or exaggeration.
