The guys methodically removed the tree skirt (hey, I am a lay person who doesn't know the terms), then did the precision cuts in safe increments. Their method ensured that the logs fell into a prescribed area to save our nearby old crepe myrtle and Rose of Sharon trees from collateral damage. He also miraculously avoided cracking the pavement when the heavy crane was in position. We can't say the same for another local company we used who charged us extra for a platform to supposedly avoid cracks and they wrecked our walkway. Not so with McMillan's crew ... they ROCKED this job! And when on Day 2 the wind would have put the crew at risk, the owner called it off and notified us when they would return to ensure his crew was safe and our other trees weren't at risk because they would lack the needed control of the falling cut wood. We were impressed at his safety measures. Also, they courteously cleaned up after themselves with blowing all of our back and front yard where they had the chipper and trailer stationed at times. At the agreed upon time of 8:30, they promptly began the work. They did everything they promised and then some. I was raking more leaves on my property and they told me that they would do it for me. They not only completed the contracted work, but used a blower to clean all of the leaves around our chicken coop, trees and driveway, then raked them up and hauled everything away. My husband and I were working on moving top soil to our front yard by wheelbarrow and they offered to use their Bobcat to distribute the dirt for us at no extra cost. This company is literally the worst of the worst. They said it would take them a day to get the job…read moredone yet they showed up three days in a row and in the process completely annihilated every other living thing in the back yard. What was once a beautiful, lush, green, and shaded yard was turned into a dirt pit with zero greenery left at all. I yelled up to the person cutting down the tree and asked "What the hell are you was doing to the tree and to my yard!?!?" His response was shocking, "Get the f*ck back in the house!" I kid you not those are the exact words that came out of this losers mouth. Unfortunately, for him, I am not a female that puts up with being spoken to like that or one that goes away quietly. He had the nerve to yell those words to me so of course we got in a yelling match. I continue to yell at him while watching him continue to demolish the tree and realized there was no going back from all the damage that this POS and the rest of his minions had already done to my yard. Needless to say, when they were done, the backyard looked horrendous. Don't hire these guys unless you want to turn your backyard into a literal sh!t pit, have every living thing in your backyard killed, smashed and trashed, have your window screens, ruined and holes knocked through your fence . Once these guys are done with it, you'll never want to go back there again. It will take years to get the backyard in the condition that it was before these dumb a$$es came and ruined it.
