Excellent customer service! They were able to get my son's choir costumes done in one day and all ready to turn back in. I was very impressed!! read more

Well we chose this place just because we live across the street. I haven't been to the cleaners in years and came here to have my son's tuxedo nicely pressed. We bought it online and wanted to get ready for prom. Keep in mind this tux has never been worn brand new. I just wanted the wrinkles out lol. When we picked it up, the white shirt had a black stain and one sleeves usually I wouldn't have mind but he's going to prom and it's a white sleeve and we brought it to the cleaners duh, I was not going to walk away. So.... we brought it back and the lady in the front just said it was dirt conveyor belt they use??????? I was like what???? Anyway, she took back the shirt and fixed it the following day. Of course, this makes sense after coming to Yelp and looking at the reviews. I personally wouldn't be back. Edit review the stain is still there but it's too late to bring it back. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! read more

I've been using green star for at least 5 years. I've never been disappointed. Service is quick and courteous and the turnaround is 2 days. Its location is convenient too, just around the corner for all cypress residents. read more

I used to come here regularly for alterations and dry cleaning, even though there were times when my clothes were damaged or the alterations were not completed the way I had requested and paid for. Unfortunately, I decided to stop coming here after a very unpleasant experience. During a fitting for a pair of pants and a dress, the owner became argumentative, raised her voice at me, and spoke to me in a disrespectful and condescending manner when I explained the alterations I wanted. I was so uncomfortable that I walked out without having the work done. It's unfortunate because I genuinely wanted to continue supporting this small business, but the poor customer service and disrespectful treatment ultimately drove me away. read more

The staff/owners are so helpful and my clothes always come out looking beautiful. They helped me out with a request for a same day dry cleaning. Professional and very helpful. read more

This place is a gem. Fair pricing and they got all dirt and stains out of my white/ivory dresses when another place said they couldn't. Just ask them not to put safety pins through your white clothing and they won't b/c the pins leave a little rust color behind. read more

I've been coming here for years and have had zero problems with my dry cleaning. I've had uniforms, jackets, game jerseys, and so much more cleaned here. The prices are pair and the service is quick. read more

Horrible customer service Do not properly clean your clothes especially your whites Would not recommend going here read more

The customer service is terrible. The lady who helped me was not friendly or professional. They don't seem to care if they get your business or not. I won't be using this place again. read more

They "lost" my new white silk Hawaiian shirt. It's been a week and no explanation or call from the owner. However, they did give me another shirt in error. Whoops, that's not mine. I gave it back. I know mistakes and mixups can happen. I just want them to acknowledge and rectify it. read more

*This review is for alterations only* I thought I would save some money by coming here and since my floor length dress just needed a little trim I didn't think it would be too difficult. I was wrong. The back of the front of the dress was longer than the back and it was so long that I sometimes stepped on it. My mom also took her floor length dress to get hemmed at the same time and she had a different problem. The sides were longer than the middle part! it was symmetrical but still looked silly so she ended up fixing it herself the best she could. GET YOUR CLOTHES ALTERED SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Alterations are terrible! Don't go there. They ruined a pair of pants. I asked for them to be shortened 1 1/2 inches. They only shortened 1/2 inch. When I took them back they said it was because they shrink easily. I said why didn't you ask - they are old pants and I'm the one shrinking. They charged me an additional charge to correct their mistake and then they over did the shortening and now they are too short. This is my 2nd experience with them. The first time I asked them to sew the inside of 2 pockets on a pair of pants that had holes in the pocket. They did one beautifully and the other one was 2/3 done and the hole was still at the bottom of the pocket. I finished up the sewing job at home. read more

Kelly is the best! She was so willing to help me and went above and beyond. I'm glad to have found this place and will not be going anywhere else for any of my alteration or dry cleaning needs. 100% recommend. read more

makes their own prices and way too exspesive. Went in for a launder and heavy starch, they quoted $3.25 for launder and $1.00 extra for Starch. Starch alone $4.25. Take you cloths somewhere else. read more

Brought in two brand new pairs of cotton Dockers style pants for shortening the hems. I already washed them at home to make sure they shrunk a little. They marked the hems where I wanted the length and asked when I needed them. Since I was not in a hurry and was dropping off on a Monday I told them Wednesday would be fine. After reading the Yelp reviews about problems with alterations I made sure to try them on in the dressing booth before leaving. The hems were done right, so no complaints from me. At $6 per pant I felt I got my monies worth since they look almost like the factory stitching. read more

Recently started using this cleaner. Super happy with the service, pricing, turn around time, and results. I recommend.

I am not a fan of credit card service charges, but it is a necessity at times. However, I am not a fan of unannounced credit card service charges. Green Star Cleaners excels at employing the unannounced credit card service charge method. A month ago, I got a sweater ($4) cleaned at Green Star Cleaners. When a gentleman swiped my card he did not charge me a credit card service fee. A few days ago, I went to pick up two shirts. The cost was $4.00. However, the lady behind the counter stated that she was going to charge me .50 cents as a service charge. I reminded her that nowhere in the store is there an announcement about charging a service charge for credit cards. She still insisted in charging the fees. Frustrated, I left. Today (04/2/15), I l came and paid for my dry cleaned shirts in cash. As I had mentioned, had I known that there was going to be a credit card service charge, I would have not patronized the store in the first place. In any event, in light of my customer experience, I will not be visiting Green Star Cleaners in the future. read more

I usually come to this dry cleaners to do my clothes. There are no problems with my clothes when they return back to me. The staff are very polite and always when I leave they give me a smile. I don't know why there are a lot of negative comments about this dry cleaners. They do a good job on my clothes and I have no damage in them. I will be coming back here to do my clothes again. read more

My first and last time here. On the front of the shop it says most items cleaned for $1.99 Every item I brought in was over this amount and I brought in slacks, shirt, dress, sweeter my total was $13.50. This place is a ripoff and false advertising as well. read more

So far so good. I have been going there for 2 years. Very polite people and fast service

Excellent quality and outstanding customer service! They always do a wonderful job with fair prices. Never have an issue with my pickup day.

I have no idea where I placed my iron and ironing board ... in the trash bin? Or left it wth the moving truck? I dunno, really? Just my luck this place can press my work clothes for a price...and the price is right. Not cheap but not pricey either. Good turn around time, friendly staff, and inexpensive for pressed clothes...in the past I have used them to take of my 'dry clean' items and they had taken great care with my items. No issues with this place Definitely will be back !! read more

When we first moved to Cypress a year ago we found this dry cleaner. They seemed to a good job. Yesterday I picked up our clothes got them home and they did a terrible job. There was a very expensive shirt of my husband's that looked like it came out of a laundry basket totally wrinkled. I had a couple of skirts also that had a lot of pleats and they didn't even press the pleats. Do not take your clothes here. We tried to get our money back and she wouldn't give it to us. We even asked for half of our money and she said no. She has to pay rent. We will not be going back there. They have gone down hill in the last year. Save your money. read more

Great cleaners. Polite staff. Have all my clothes done here. I don't understand the neg comments. I've only had good visits here.

They completely ruined my wife's dress...almoat looks like they put bleach on it...they then proceeded to say they couldn't do anything about it and were rude and disrespectful...DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE...if you want to keep your clothes in good condition or want to have good customer experience..i understand things go wrong...if they would have attempted to fix the situation or would have been a different story.. read more

I love this place. They get everything done quickly and for almost nothing. My most recent visit I had them also mend one of my shirts. They did an amazing job. read more

I had two bad experiences with this business. One about two months ago, when I brought my pants for alteration which was not done, but I was told otherwise and asked to pay. When I proved that I am right and that nothing was done to my pants, I was told that the alteration can not be done for the price I was originally offered. The second encounter was today. I called and asked for the price to dry clean dress pants. I was quoted $2.25 over the phone. When I arrived the price changed to $2.50 per par. When I asked for explanation, the owner just walked away. By the way the big advertisement on the window says dry cleaning $1.99 most garments. read more

They are so extremely rude and it just got too much to put up with. I will be taking my business else where because she made it clear today she does not need it. She needs to learn what customer service means and also some basic manners. read more

Decent cleaning unless your elderly. They took advantage of my grandfather and overcharged. Then they lost our clothes and once found didnt offer any sort of remedy. Just a sorry! Tried one last time and they returned our 6 pillows that they charged $10 each still notably wet in a plastic bag and they smelled! That was the last straw. No more chances! read more
