It was a nice greeting upon arrival. The cashier kindly answered my question about kelp noodles. I got the Tigerbowl, unfortunately it was not what I expected but it taste ok. It was a very small entree for $11. I expected more noodles, but it was more microgreens, the almond sauce was a bit sweet. Now the Green Zing juice was really good, the ginger is the first taste but I tasted the kale and cucumber. If i go back again I will get more juices. It is a small eating area with a lot of green color and some plants.

They make An Almond Joy, the best smoothie ever. Includes dates as a sweetener. If I am anywhere close by and swing by and get one on the go.

4 years later and the food is even better! The service is excellent, the ambiance is very chill, warm and welcoming. I had the Latini Panini this time and it was delicious!

Green seed used to be one of my favs when I was vegan. I was in the area and hadn't been in awhile so I wanted to go and get some of the delicious cauliflower nuggets. I paired it with a mango smoothie this time. My total for these two items was almost $16. The nuggets were $8 for just a few of them.. lol. They were delicious as usual but for the price, I would expect to get a bit more. The smoothie was good too. But everything was kind of pricey for just a side and a smoothie. Also wish the service was a little friendlier.. when I was called up to the register to get my order, the gentleman at the counter was looking down at his phone when I said thank you. I'm not sure if I will be back any time soon.

Let me tell you, I had every intention of trying a new restaurant today, but couldn't bring myself to it because a specific Latini craving was calling my name. We all have our favorites, and for me, growing up all over the states, Green Seed Vegan does now and has always felt like my soft place to land here in Houston. From the company that frequents this spot to the way the sun shines to illuminate the shiny seats and delicious, nutritious food, this intimate spot just feels like home...and I'm not even vegan. The cauliflower nuggets with sauce and Latini panini are decedent and packed with flavor, while the Zen panini offers a fresh slightly spicy punch to the tastebud. Although there are my picks, I'm sure you can't go wrong with any menu item. I personally love seeing the representation of the versatile food offerings within our diaspora, and this spot always does it in a way that showcases the bold flavors that make our meals so enjoyable. While you may encounter a wait for your meal (my last 2 visits I've waited atleast 15 minutes for my meal to arrive, even when I was the only one in the restaurant), and it's certainly not cheap (2 paninis and cauliflower nuggets ran me just under $40) the food is worth it!

I was across the street at the food truck festival and because I'm fasting, I was excited to see Green Seed Vegan right across the street. I walked over, because we had already parked, and went in to order a juice. The parking lot is pretty small even though they have a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating for patrons. So you'd have to find street parking on a busy day. There were 2 patrons outside and 3 inside when I got there. The cashier came out and welcomed me, which was different than what some of the other reviews were saying so I was happy about that. I had tons of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He suggested I get the pina verde ($10 per bottle) as it had no added sugars and was perfect for someone fasting. He was right!!! The juice was delicious but not sure if I'd ever pay $10 again for an average size bottle of juice, healthy or not. I do plan on coming back to try the food.

This place is really good, but oh my! It's expensive! I got a large kale salad, that cost $10, and it was literally 8 bites. The to go container was no where near full. I'll be checking the box the next time I get something to go.

If your looking for a great spot for vegan food dishes, juices and smoothies green seed vegan is the place to visit. The customer service was a bit dry and uninviting and their dining area was completely empty. While I awaited my smoothie I music ambiently played in the background which made the wait pleasant. Also, the location is easy to access!

Food is good, the portion on the fries is like I'm a 8 year old with a happy meal. Mixed on returning but maybe so :)

Nori Rolls

Yummy! I tried the Nori Rolls and the Dill Fries. I enjoyed both and the fries were very yummy but tbh I didn't really taste the dill? It definitely tasted like something but not dill in my opinion. Still good! Not super filling though.

Today at 9 months pregnant I came all the way here as soon as they opened and I was their first customer of the day. I spent almost $60 and I noticed my raw vegan tacos had barely any cashew cream on top. I walked inside and was told by a short bald man with a red neck tattoo ( I think a kiss?) that there wasn't any missing as if he made it. I assured him it was very light on two of them and one had nothing. To offer a solution ( since he wasn't) I ASKED if I could have a SMALL cup of cashew cream and I would put it on my taco. I was told it would be $3. I was told to go to the car get the food and show him my tacos. I really didn't feel like going all the way to the car, So I almost said never mind, as I had already decided I wouldn't be back. I wanted to prove my point, so I went to get the food and brought it and they added the cashew cream to the tacos. My thing is why couldn't you just give me the small tiny cup of cashew cream, it's still a pandemic and you want me to bring OPEN food into your kitchen. Second, he was snotty about it. I supported this restaurant ALL the time at least 2-3 times a month because it is vegan and black owned. When ever I come I spend at least $50+ , especially when I buy their juices. This restaurant is 50 minutes away from my home 1hr 15 with traffic. The reviews about the small portions are correct but its a small business so I try to be understanding, however I've come here and a couple times had things missed from my order but I never say anything because I don't usually notice until I get all the way home or halfway home. I won't be back tho, it's not worth it. Below are photos of my receipt, the tacos before I asked for sauce and after they put some on there. Smh you lost a customer over $3 and an attitude.

Before I arrived, I didn't realize they were located inside of L.A. Fitness so finding it was a little confusing. There's a parking garage where L.A. Fitness will validate your ticket so you don't have to pay. The parking garage also serves several other businesses so it may take you a little trial and error to find the entrance to L.A. Fitness. Part of the reason I stopped by is that I saw they have a Yelp Deal. After buying the voucher and trying to use it, I was told that the previous owner created the deal so they were unaware of it. Luckily, they were still willing to honor it. I'm not sure if they've taken the deal down, but if they haven't, here's your heads-up. Since the Yelp deal is for a good deal of money, I ended up ordering quite a bit. They have a combo deal where you can get a sandwich and a smoothie. I got four different smoothies and four sandwiches. For each smoothie, I added an add-in for an additional charge. That got me to the value I needed for the Yelp deal. Lunch for all week! They have a couple of tables if you'd like to eat there but it's more of a grab-and-go spot. The sandwiches are paninis and they were good and used healthy ingredients. They have a grilled cheese option, chicken pesto sandwich, etc. A lot of their sandwiches have spinach. You can easily make a comparable sandwich at home but you do have the convenience factor here, especially if you work out at the gym. The smoothies were also good but nothing to write home about. All-in-all, a convenient and solid addition to L.A. Fitness. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here if you're not a member of the gym, but if you are, I'd take advantage.

This review isn't so much about the taste of the bowl, as much as it is the presentation of the bowl, and the service in general. I went to SK in Kirby through their drive thru, the middle of last week and ordered the PB Swizzle only to receive a bowl that was poorly made and with a heaping mess of peanut butter on top - the bowl was handed to me without a bag, however, I did get a spoon. Service that day was lackluster. A couple of days later I went back again and ordered the same thing, letting them know about my last experience and how the bowl was served to me. This time a different young man was at the window, and he apologized for the poor service I received and ensured me he would resolve the matter by creating a great bowl with proper drizzle. He did just that, the bowl was perfectly made, no peanut butter mountain, he gave me the drizzle I wanted and the bowl was done right. He served it to me in a bag and wished me a blessed day which put SK back in good graces with me again. I wish I had asked for his name because he exemplified customer service to the max. Thank you! It was delicious!
