I can't write a recommendation that can fully convey my enthusiasm for this business. My house crawl space had been flooded during the last winter's rain storm. The dampness remained until the beginning of the summer when this company provided its services. The wetness had created mold that coulde weaken the house floor boards and require replacement at a very large cost. Not only did they use fans to dry out the area, they painted the wood so that mold would not grow there. Somehow this field is dominated by liars and cheats who try and frighten customers into hiring based on instilling warrantless fear and hoping that the target is too busy to get other competitive bids. One company went through my house and got beeps on their monitor and told me that the floor boards were already damaged and I needed to hire them. Another brought in someone who knew nothing about the field and just took pictures to send to his boss who told me I had a kind of fungus buried in the ground in the crawl space and needed excavation to pull its roots. Both bids were astronomical. Fortunately, I turned to Yaniv at Green Planet who explained that these "analyses" were all bullshit. I will say my family and I have had a tough year so far. We would like to share some of our experience with Green Planet. Unfortunately, we woke earlier this year to a flooded home and this has been a traumatic time for my family. The unthinkable happened and wasn't sure what to do, beside grab a broom and start sweeping water out the front door. My insurance company mentioned it was my responsibility to find a restoration company to clean up and relocate my family to a safe place since our home was not livable with the amount of water everywhere. After reaching out to a few companies on Yelp, I had to leave callback requests or a message with an answering service. I came across Green Planet and spoke with Eli. Eli answered and got straight the point, asked if everyone was okay and a few questions to find out how bad the problem was. He mentioned it wasn't a problem and quoted me a 30min for his team to arrive. I had to confirm the 30min ETA, but he confirmed 30min as I was a little relieved help was on the way. Green Planet arrived about 35-40min later, but that was okay since I had team show up and they cleaned up the water fairly quick for us. Eli provided a couple hotel recommendations near by which was very nice of him. I share this with other Yelpers as I appreciate Green Planet for keeping us calm, walking us through the process, and giving peace of mind that they will be taking care of our home for us. We had a leak under our dishwasher that had been going for some time without our knowledge. We only noticed when the flooring in front of the dishwasher became damaged. Eli responded very quickly and came out with his team to check the damage. He recommended we go through insurance for the damage, and helped guide us through that process (it was our first time filing a claim). Eli was super responsive with any questions we had while filing the claim, and offered to communicate with the insurance company directly, and be present at our house any time a claims adjustment activity took place. His team got started right away with moving the dishwasher and checking for additional damage. They set up floor dryers and let them run over the holidays, still being responsive to our questions over Christmas. They showed up first thing in the morning and removed all the drying equipment after making sure that it had done its job. Unfortunately insurance denied our claim because the leak was not a sudden emergency, so we decided to not move forward with additional repairs (Eli confirmed that there was no mold or structural damage after the drying). Eli tried to fight the insurance company on our behalf, but without much luck. He was accepting of our decsion to not do the extra repairs, and re-quoted the job to invoice for just the drying operations. Eli was very responsive and fair throughout the whole process. He offered us advice, and adjusted plans to accommodate changing situations. His responsiveness was especially great given that this all happened over Christmas. read more

I am beyond grateful for Green Plant restoration angles! My parents had a terrible flood in their 2 story home in Irvine. They called me in the evening freaking out, literally drowning in water. I live about an hour and a half away from them so all I could do was freak out with them. I couldn't even offer them a place to stay. Our bathtub overflowed around 8:30pm at night, soaked the upstairs bedroom carpet and leaked through the ceiling into the garage. They were able to come start the clean up within an hour of calling.
