Just want to give a shoutout to Greg Ghelfi, service manager at your Springfield dealership. When I ended up there from Chicago while visiting with a friend, my transmission went bad on me. Greg took over and gently gave me the bad news that it had to be replaced, and he definitely recommended I not try to drive it home at that time. He arranged for me to get a local hotel, had a nice young man drive me there, and all in all made my terrible situation so much more manageable. He went the extra mile every step along the way until I was able to go back down from Chicago and pick up my car a few days later. I won't be back. Went in and got an oil change like I always do and it was $80!!! I have bought every vehicle at this location (one a year for 20 years) and everytime they ask have u purchased your vehicle here. Yes. I get every oil change, tire rotation, tires and service appt done here and trade in at 30,000 miles every year. Now they want u to sign a paper before the oil change (probably because people are throwing a fit). I will not be back to purchase a car, oil change, anything! I've taken 3 kids to this location and parents so 6 of us all have green Nissan and trade often. I instructed everyone once your warranty is up go to the $20 oil change place. Highway robbery! And the black guy Jason that works there is awful. His mouth never shuts up. Trying to sit and get an oil change and his mouth runs non stop. What a joke! This place is a rip off! I used to brag about it but I guess u have to charge $80 bucks for an oil change when u have about 10 people sitting around on their butts your paying! read more

Came in normally one day after my car got totaled out, so I decided to go to green Nissan made them aware I was a college student and they said okay, I told them the credit part would be hard, so I said I got 5k down then finance manager came and said your with CEFCU and I said thank you and shook his hand. So from Starting off from we will get you approved to me getting approved, then asked for money down... got the money down, signed for a car that Green Nissan sold the next day, I worked with Jason which is an absolute joke and Peyton which is a bigger joke... the disrespect that they will bring apon you it just makes u want to leave. My Nissan Rogue was with having massive issues and was out of warrant, but the General MGR Horacio would not let me leave unhappy. I purchased my vehicle here almost 2 years ago and I bring my car in here faithfully for oil changes and regular maintenance. They are always so fast. I spend less than an hour here for an oil change and car wash. Green Nissan has a really nice waiting area and also offer free shuttle service if you need to go to work or somewhere else. They will drop you off and pick you up. They have outstanding service. Everyone who works here is knowledgeable and isn't trying to sell you something. They will inform you on things they may recommend for your car but will not push you to get it. As a female , I appreciate that very much being that car repairs are a foreign language to me. In their waiting area you'll find refreshments, fresh popcorn and other snacks. They also have a small room for children to play in with a tv and several toys. read more

My 2013 Nissan Sentra has had the transmission go out twice. Once under warranty. I had 4k miles on my warranty and told them I thought it was driving funny and I wasn't comfortable with RPM behavior. I was told it is a sensitive transmission and that I was essentially paranoid. This was just how the car drives. 8 months later, my car won't drive at all. Transmission is out of service. They also had to replace the entire gear shifter once, covered under warranty but still a couple thousand. A sensor that wouldnt let me put the car into drive. Completely unable to drive. I dont trust the cars they are selling off their lot. I dont understand how a car could have this many problems. It is barely worth 7k and has had over 12k worth of problems. Luckily most under warranty but now I'm SOL. They didnt want to deal with warranty company again and sent me home, instead of listening to what I said about MY car driving crappy. They have nothing to say for it. They think there is no problem, it just happens. So I want to make this review so any future buyers know that you may end up with a headache and constantly having to get work done. They never have loaners for their customers, unless by appt. Not for emergency customers whose transmissions go out or car is completely unable to drive. Those customers pay for their own rental. Even under warranty I was not able to get a loaner, had to pay for a rental for 10 days while they fixed transmission. read more

Called their Springfield dealership from Chicago about a car and we settled on a price. I even went to the bank to finalize my offer that was already pre-approved that just needed an agreed upon price for the auto. Then, I don't hear back from them at all and have to call them. Guess what, they sold the car even though we already had a deal. Typical car salesmen sharks. Wasted about 4 hours of my time. You can think of the 4 letter words I have to say about this place. They probably don't even care they got a bad review since they make so much money screwing and lying to people. Oh well, on to the next, there has to be an honest car dealer somewhere. read more

Amazing Service Department. The car which was no longer under warranty developed a rattle under the hood. It was loud enough that it was annoying to drive. I took the car to my personal mechanic. He could not find the cause of the noise. Reluctantly I took it to the dealership (Green Nissan). Two hours later it was fixed. Only a minor repair but I was only charged the minimum amount. Best dealership I've ever been to for vehicle maintenance. Office staff is easy to work with and made sure to send appointment verifications. A service tech is assigned to each repair. I had to drop my vehicle off near closing time. I had Josh, who was very professional. He took time to call me and ask for details of what I was experiencing with my car. I left my vehicle there for almost a week while out of town. Josh followed up with me as he diagnosed the issues. He was more than fair and upfront. He called before any possible repairs were done or parts were ordered. This dealership takes care of their customers. If I was a person wanting to buy a vehicle keep on driving pass this dealership. The finance manager was giving crazy numbers on paper, basically trying to screw me over. He was trying to use tactics that I'm aware of. So example is, I was wanting to trade a car in that I have only put 856 miles on it. I basically gave 29000 for it but they would only give 23000 for it. A 6000 loss in the amount of 856 miles, give me a break. Mr. Green needs to do walk thru and evaluation on his finance managers. I can honestly say that I have never been offended this bad in all the the previous cars that I have bought from other dealers. Keep up the jerk work. read more
