I'm Hans and I'm Franz. And we just want to...pump...(clap)...you up! Yeah, it's the early 90's again in fashion and beauty, so I couldn't help myself. If you don't know Hans and Franz, "here me now and and believe this later" 'cause I know you've opened another tab to Google it. Don't google, go to Youtube for the full effect. Okay, Hans and Franz are gonna get to the point. After all, they are cousins with Arnold Schwarzenegger so they aren't afraid to name drop (remember, this is before he was the governor and just a body builder/kindergarten cop). Okay, now let's get to it since we didn't in the prior two paragraphs and if you're still reading then clearly you want to know. These guys are wonderful. I purchased a Volvo from another dealer and they send me here to have it checked out. Both times, the staff has been friendly and the utmost professional. Trust me, I tried to drop in a goofy joke here and there for my own entertainment and they did not take the bait! However, " here me now and and believe this later" 'cause they could be laughing in their head. Moving along, the waiting area is super nice. You got your wifi, your multiple work areas (couch, chair, table, counter), your complimentary treats, water, and Starbucks coffee dispenser with the option to have coffee, hot chocolate or a latte. Plus, you're surrounded with super nice, posh vehicles to check out. The only thing I would change is the music. It's this odd music that I believe was called elevator music. Personally, it reminds me of finding the elevator in a department store, maybe Sears or JC Penny. Either way, you pop in and that terrible music is playing and is smells like pee. Look down and there definitely has been pee in the elevator. Why? It's the only way to get to the other hidden destination...the bathroom! Listen, if I'm going to date myself we are blasting into the heart of the 1990's. Let me make it clear, it does not smell like pee at the dealership! I just really like non sequiturs and ripping myself up when I read this out loud to my hubs. Moving along and back to pumping them (clap) up. I found that they troubleshoot the way you wish everyone would. What makes the most sense? How can we address the challenge and not overcharge? You read that right, not overcharge. I mean, at this point it wasn't even me fitting the bill but the dealer I purchased the car from. That says a lot to me. The staff is efficient and they are great at giving updates to you. I was even told that I could come back and ask questions if I had any about how to operate my new Volvo. If you didn't know, it's straight up luxury. Which equals a lot of bells and whistles. I'm all about ringing bells and blowing whistles, so it doesn't intimidate me; just may need some help here and there. So basically I'm going to go in and throw down some line from Kindergarten Cop. Maybe I'll lead with, "I'm going to ask a bunch of questions, and I want to have them answered immediately." Just kidding! Oh, they wash my car and vacuum it every single time I come. Also, they pull it up for me in this covered area so I don't have to be bothered with the elements outside. I'm probably going to recommend others to buy their cars directly from here. read more

I brought my bmw 750xi in dec 1 2025 after having power steering issues! They quoted me it would cost $8400 to fix! I had the car towed to Eurosport in Springfield ! I used to go here and buy luxury cars before I got divorced and couldn't afford them anymore. After about 15 years of not visiting, I recently need some car maintenance. Gary and Brian were still here and still both do a great job. Brian took the time at the end of the day to give a "tour" of my (new) wife's G wagon when we didn't even buy it here. I recently looked to buy a New 2025 G550 from Isringhausen. I was told I must pay over MSRP because of the new G550 rarity. Ended up buying a new G550 from the Mercedes dealer in Bloomington, Illinois. Nearly identical SUV, except exterior color is blue instead of white . Mercedes of Bloomington saved me $10,000 by not selling it over MSRP ( I believe Isringhausen originally started negotiations of the G550 over $20,000 MSRP ) and Bloomington also gave me $3000 more for my trade and I did not even ask for that. I bought six cars from Isringhausen and I won't ever buy another . Horrible to deal with, treated like a second class person. was told I would have this great friendly car buying experience and even have the text from the salesman. when I was pre-approved through a finance company they didnt use because as I was told didnt fit there clientele things from that point became cold and the salesman told he was too busy to get back to me even though I was a customer-!! I did the credit application as they requested and contacted the Finance guy several times with no answer or response. E mailed the General Manager and got no reply. So I personally will not go there again and should have listened to other people to not go there but I tried it for myself and was Disappointed. read more

I took my new to me Mercedes for service for its first time. I figured since we were getting to know each other couldn't hurt to have them do Service B on my vehicle. Waiting area is nice. Pretty standard. Chairs. Drinks. Magazines. Finding the entrance to the Mercedes service was a tad tricky- its on a one way street kinda looks like your pulling into their showroom but you aren't. I dealt with Zack today and he was very pleasant. I didn't feel like he tried to upsell me anything. He just wanted to check me in and I took a shuttle to work and back which was nice. They were right on time. I had purchased MB air filters ahead of time to have my son put them in and he never got around to it. They put them in without a problem. Service B runs about $750 but since I had recently done wipers and filters myself they nixed that which I think dropped my overall price. He gave me an update when I got back along with some recommendations for the next few months. I'm glad I went there. read more

I think I have purchased 11 cars, both new and pre-owned, from Isringhausen since 1986. Saabs, Mazdas, Mercedes, Volvos, BMWs, and now a Porsche. I consider my salesman, Brian Mitchell, more of a friend than a business associate, and know Geoff Isringhausen, and some of the service team for both Mercedes and BMW. I am always treated respectfully and courteously by everyone at the dealership. Over the years, I have come to realize that as a small city dealer, Isringhausen does not offer the largest inventory or lowest prices on their new cars, but generally offers a modest discount off MSRP and dealer wholesale for trades. However, I am reluctant to have my cars serviced by other dealerships in town, so I don't mind paying a little more. I think that sometimes the cars themselves have been problematic. For example, the last Mercedes I bought seemed to be headed down the road toward electronic gremlins and recurrent air conditioning issues. If I had realized that the entire Mercedes line is ranked "unreliable" by a leading consumer ratings magazine, I wouldn't have purchased the vehicle. I think I received a better deal on my new Porsche Macan, and believe it will be fun to drive and reliable transportation. I like doing business locally and don't want to have to travel to St. Louis or elsewhere for sales or service. read more

Took my son's 2011 BMW 3 series in for issues with its VANOS (VVT) system. Mike (Service Manager) was extremely helpful and honest. The service team looked it over and quickly found the issue. Sent a video of the mechanic talking me through the issue, and what they recommend. Then I got a quote for the repair. While it was an expensive repair, they weren't any more expensive then anyone else. And their service was phenomenal. Thank you for a wonderful service experience. I've lived in Springfield many years and tried several times to buy here.. never works out. I always feel like they don't take me seriously when I stop in.. almost like I need dress up so someone would be willing to try and sell me a car. I've owned multiple new high end luxury cars and had to buy all of them in St. Louis. Most recently I stopped in 2 weeks ago to look at a new GLE. The salesman said yea we have a couple of them, when are you looking to buy? I said in the next couple weeks and said why don't you come back when your ready and see what we have! I went to Plaza Mercedes in St. Louis that weekend and they were happy to show me a new GLE, which I promptly purchased. Quick tip: don't try to judge if someone can afford to be shopping at your store based on their age or how they are dressed. I was in scrubs because I'm a physician :) btw my experience at Plaza was amazing. read more

Hi folks be very careful. I went to have spark plugs and brake fluid flushed my C300. After that I took my car for second opinion, I live in the same complex with a mechanic he confirmed the spark plugs were not changed. They charged me $453.00. Be wary of Zach he is very dishonest. read more

I bought a car from on outside dealer for 11k less than they would negotiate for their car. It turns out their service is not worth the money as well, They took 6 days to look at my car. We have been looking for a Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 for some time now. I am the type to keep a car for 5 to 7 years, so it is important to me to get exactly what I am looking for. My mom moved down state to Central Illinois several years ago, so we decided to check the inventory nearby. Long story, short version, we ended up working with Mark. He was fantastic! I made a mistake about the interior color that was available versus what I wanted in the vehicle, and did not end up buying anything. He could have easily been annoyed, but instead, he was very helpful, and gave us many pointers on the best way to proceed with getting the car we wanted. He even ended up letting us test drive the car we thought we were going to buy, which sold us on the GLC. Despite basically wasting his time, he made us feel like valued customers. White glove sales and service! It's no wonder Isringhausen is so well known far beyond our local area. My husband purchased a certified, used S-class Mercedes sedan, and after driving it for a bit, he noticed the driver's seat was maladjusted and causing him pain. They picked up the car twice and brought a loaner (we don't live in Springfield) to adjust it. After that was unsuccessful, they took the car for over a week and replaced the $5000 seat, under warranty. read more

Once we had the opportunity to test drive both crossovers; depending on various factors, had to change our opinion and bought 2014 GLK. I tried to buy a BMW there to support what I thought was a good dealership. In researching Z4's in the Midwest, I found a similarly equipped Z4 outside of Chicago. When I mentioned this car to them, they said that the other BMW dealership wouldn't have as nice of a car and that the other dealership was sneaky. I said meet at a mutually agreeable price and they wouldn't budgeting price. I told them that I'm buying the other car. I tried to put a deposit down to show I was serious but they wouldn't do that.. The salesman calls me this morning as I'm on the train to Chicago to buy the other Z4... Oh if it doesn't workout.. Stop by and buy our car... Overpriced and unprofessional... No thanks! Waiting on a response from the Service Department. I purchased a 2015 328i CPO with additional warranty. Work was performed and charged to the Warranty in September 2021. I'm having the same issue. BMW posted a bulletin in 2015 about the cab temp sensor freezing up and closing the dampener. This shop service this issue and "re-programmed" the sensor. Before, the issue arose out of humid heat and the AC being on causing condensation and a freeze up. Now, the issue has come back when the temperature is freezing outside, I assume causing the same sensor to freeze up and having the same issue with the dampener closing and no air coming out. I also had this shop diagnose a road noise when going over 35mph or turning right. They said it was the right bearing that was bad. They ordered the bearing, which took months to get, replaced and "fixed". After picking up my car the noise was still there and the service advisor said the noise was now due to my "chopped up tires." Which is odd since they are new tires since May of this year. I'm posting this now to see how they handle this issue as the service advisor is unable/unwilling to address the issues. Anyone from your shop want to do anything about this?!? read more

The purchase of my 2013 Porsche two weeks ago was a very pleasant experience. I drove down from the Quad Cities as they had a car I was very interested in. After a short test drive I was ready to do the deal. Mike Custer provide a very doable number the first go around and with a little discussion we worked the number into a fair deal for both he and I. And, in finance, Sean Oliver put together a package for me with little fuss and had me in and out in quick fashion. Much appreciated. I would buy another car from these guys in a heartbeat. He called back and very apologetically said they won't negotiate unless someone is in the building. Purchased my 2nd BMW X5 from Isringhausen's. Our sales person was great - not pushy, didn't hurry us. Before we left the owner introduced himself and thanked us for our business. Have had regular maintenance performed and, as I live down state, they pick up my car when they say they are going to (leaving me with a new BMW loaner) and deliver it before I get off work same day. They have left me voice mail reminders and emails when it was time for service so that I wouldn't forget. They have been great. I plan to buy my next vehicle from them. read more

In Feb 2013 I purchased a 2010 Porsche Boxster S with 16,900 miles in it from Isringhausen imports in Springfield, IL. I found the car on cars.com. I paid a few thousand more because the car was "Porsche Certified", well over $50,000. I've owned 5 BMWs, a few Lexii, an Audi, and any number of other cars, most of them new. The Boxster was supposed to be warrented until 2016. Awesome! The purchase went smooth and the car was delivered to my home in New Hampshire in early February. Needless to say I wasn't going to be able to drive it for a while in the snow and ice. I managed to put 3 miles on it until late April, when the roads cleared. Driving around town was fine. Then, on a few isolated roads, I opened it up. Accelerating to just below red line in first gear, I shifted to second, but the clutch wouldn't "grab", the engine revs just sat at around 6500 and the car wasn't accelerating. I found that if I didn't shift quite as fast and let the revs drop to 5000 or below the transmission worked fine. I drove the car a few more times, trying to figure out what was going on. After about 500 miles (mostly highway, with a 370 mile round trip to Maine and a few trips to work and back) I brought the car to Porsche of Nashua, where a certified Porsche technician rode with me. Diagnosis; a worn clutch was slipping. Damage: over $3,000. Not awesome. I called Isringhausen. The first suggestion was that Porsche of Nashua was trying to generate repair business. I ignored that statement. Then I suggested that we put their service department in touch with the technician at Porsche of Nashua. This took over a week. In the meantime, I took another trip to Maine and some other short trips, so now I've put around 1,000 miles on the car, but remember, I reported it almost right away. Isringhausen came back and said "sorry, brakes, tires, and clutch are "wear" items and aren't covered". I pointed out that I couldn't have worn the clutch out in a few hundred miles, they just missed it when they certified the car. They wouldn't budge. Now note, these were the 3 cars I owned before I bought the Boxster: 2007 BMW 650i convertible - 6 speed manual 2004 BMW Z4 3.0i - 6 speed manual 2001 BMW 540i - 6 speed manual I drove those cars a total of almost 80,000 miles with absolutely no transmission problems, but somehow I blew a Porsche clutch in a few hundred miles. So I called Porsche Customer Service, talked to a nice lady who said they would follow up. After the long Memorial Day weekend I received my response; sorry, the dealer won't budge. I asked what they were going to do about it. Her response was "Porsche Certified is a program that we offer to dealers. It is up to them to make it right." IOW, it isn't "Porsche Certified" at all. It's "Dealer Certified". A dealer can sell you anything and if they screw up, you have no recourse. Porsche doesn't back up "Porsche Certified" in any way! BUYER BEWARE! read more

Your BMW service department should be ashamed of themselves! Before embarking on a 250mile drive my tire sensor went off. I called the dealership and explained that I was capable of resetting the sensor and filling my own tire but considering the length of the trip I really needed to ensure that there was nothing wrong with the tire itself and if they could check to make sure. They agreed no problem and were nice. However, they never actually checked the tire! They did what most places do and assume I'm a dumb girl who drives a nice car and can't even fill her tire. You reset the sensor, and left the car running for me to drive off. You did this knowingly because you KNEW the sensor would retrigger if you turned the car off. You sent me on my way at highway speeds through miles of construction and no where to pull over with a punctured tire because you assumed I was dumb and didn't check it out. If that where your daughter or wife would you have done the same? You literally could have been responsible for loss of life. Next time don't assume we are all stupid and when someone brings a safety concern actually look into it! read more

just called to get a part number for rear brake pad sensor. Brad tells me that they no longer give out the part numbers except to other businesses. the thing is I spoke to one of his colleagues 5 minutes prior to speaking with Brad because I had to find the vin number for vehicle. Just called another Mercedes dealership and got the part number with no problem. Very poor customer service. Either you give the number or you don't. If you're too lazy to look up then just say that too. Probably would not have taken the time to write review at that point. read more

Wanted a BMW AWD, they were out of stock, they had a RWD that was loaded. Sales guy talked me into it (even though I live in a snowy area, saying with snow tires it was better than AWD with all-seasons on it). After signing the deal and wiring funds, I had second thoughts and wanted AWD, asked if I could change, sales guy said yes, no problem, they'd find me whatever I wanted. Sales manager (long story-short) stuck me with the car, He didn't bother looking for an AWD eventhough he said he would, AND outright refused to refund me, even though no other title paperwork or anything else had been done or completed (car was still in their possession too). They also NEVER MENTIONED that the car was a DEMO. Online the car showed under 15 miles on it. The paperwork I received showed almost 200 miles. They still were refusing to let me purchase another car or get my money back. There was also a repaired scratch on the leather seat when the car arrived that was never mentioned and is noticeable. As for the snow tires they promised at their cost (as part of the deal), they tried to charge me MORE than what the same tires and wheels cost on the BMW web site. Not the first time I've bought a car online like this, but certainly the last. read more

The dealership promised a number of fixes on a used BMW, but upon delivery, inspection revealed that they had not fixed anything. Although these promises were made in writing, the dealership does not believe that they need to abide by the terms of the sale. Unfortunately, the only thing that their written promises have guaranteed are a hassle. Take your business where it's appreciated: elsewhere. read more
