There very rude when you ask at the time when you're getting you're toes and nails done they change price ' tammy is very rude .... I will never go back .... They look at each other communicate" in there ....

SHOCKING experience and major hygiene concern. While getting my nails done here, I witnessed an employee carry a wild goose into the salon with her bare hands--no gloves, no precautions--and walk it straight through the salon into the back room, after grabbing a large roll of tape. When I asked about it, they casually said they gave it water and let it out the back, which is highly questionable given the salon's location. Regardless, bringing a live, wild animal into a supposedly clean environment where people are receiving beauty services is completely unacceptable. Beyond the OBVIOUS hygiene issue, the way the bird was handled raised serious concerns about its wellbeing. This experience was disturbing, unsanitary, and frankly horrifying. I won't be coming back and I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone who values cleanliness or basic compassion.

:( ouch! Used a gift certificate someone gave me. And the nail tech just was to rough. Day #2 and my toes hurt!

Ouch! :( Day #2 and my toes hurt. I've never experienced something like this. The nail tech was to rough.

What I received

My sister in law and I walked in with no one greeting us nor asking us what we'd like to get done until 40 minutes later. The guy with glasses assisted me and I of course showed him an inspo pic. He did not do my nails the way I wanted them but I was content with them. My length was not long and it was just a simple french tip. I got charged $67 with no tip included and in my perspective I think that was just a little too much for what he did. The service from the moment we walked in was not welcoming & I was overcharged for what I asked.

We got there and it was understaffed and super slow. We waited over an hour without acknowledgment . They had no sense of urgency whatsoever. Once the guy got to doing my nails he took forever to complete them. I got the shortest nails in my life and the sizing hand said they were $45. I got charged $75 without a tip included. This is what I get for cheating on my nail tech .

Do not recommend. First time here and our manicure was so rushed and messy. Another client came in while I was getting my manicure so Sean decided to help her after me when he was supposed to do my daughters nails. As you can see her nails are also very sloppy, so much residue on her fingers. 0/0

Omg!!! I want to cry First of all I went and I asked for a quote for I could get my nails fixed he said to fix them it would be $40, Fill included with the same design I had previously had.. they were looking great until we got to the curing the gel polish. (With One coat of paint) They look like they're washed off melted off that's the best description I could give. for $52 I paid and left. First & last time I come here. I really had hopes for Chris..

This is my 2nd time here and they have delivered both times. I've been able to walk in without an appt and the customer service is good.

Poor nail design

I was originally excited to try this new nail salon since I live in Wagon Wheel and I could walk there but they do not know what they are doing at all. I am attaching a picture of the job they did with their nail designs... I normally drop a lot of money for my pedicures and because the lady doing my nails didn't do a good job at first another lady came and took over to fix it. The second lady's work was horrible too. By the pictures you can see that the dots at the bottom are spaced different than one another also one toe was more arched while the other toe on the other foot was a straight line. And the work along the edges were just poor. It also took a very long time to even get started... other people walked in and were in a chair being worked on before I was. I sat in a chair with no water just waiting. At most there were 4 people when I arrived and people who worked there standing by without helping me. They finally ran the water and left me there but it was so hot I had to ask them to change it and when they did it was too cold. I won't be going back there again and ill just stick with USA nails where I went before. It really is a shame.

Cut by male technician
Tas L.

The good: Pedicure was nice and relaxing, older female technician was attentive. The bad: The male technician that did my manicure did a terrible job. - he did not soak my nails prior to trimming my cuticles (never experienced that before). He also cut me while trimming my cuticles. - I got a dip manicure on my natural nails- my first time getting dip and will never get dip again. After one week it lifted and now I have to take it off. Waste of my time and money. First and last time going here.

Century Nails is great! You would think they are another one of those nail salons you can just drop…read moreinto for a manicure, pedicure, or set of nails. Nope, not usually. That means people really like the salon and keep it busy. You need to make a reservation in advance most of the time. I have witnessed a few people walk in and be able to get in, but that's not the norm. You might think I'm giving them a bad review, but in fact it's just the opposite. I'm pointing out they are busy because they are that good. The three women who work there are all skilled in all manner of nail care. They do it all. Manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails and gel nails. French tips or a very wide selection of nail polish colours to choose from. Some of the amazing things about this salon is how friendly the employees are. After your first appointment they will likely remember your name and greet you by name when you come in again. Secondly, their prices are very very reasonable. Probably the lowest of any salon in Ventura. And they never, ever upsell you. Unlike other salons that want to charge extra for a foot or leg massage or for removing calluses from your feet Century Nails never does that. Their low prices include everything you want in a manicure or pedicure. The salon is clean and they line the tub to soak your feet with a disposable plastic liner. So call Century Nails and make your appointment. You won't regret it and your nails will look great.

Not too much pressure but very good. She was the quiet type but warm and not distant. Lilly did my bestie pedicure and was so cheerful and positive. Very clearly communicated. I really wanted to love this place. I had a nice experience when I walked past and waved Hello and…read moremade an appointment. But the actual appointment itself let me down. I'll explain why. When I arrived I had a couple of coats of polish on my nails and they asked me to put my hands into a bowl of acetone and they'd be right back. I waited 20 minutes with my nails soaking in acetone before she came back. I was very concerned as I'd never been told to leave my real nails in acetone that long. I did as I was told and after 20 minutes she came back and painted my nails. The polish looked pretty but the very same day it started to peel off like the kind of polish children use. It all just peeled right off. I kept thinking it was because my nail bed had absorbed so much acetone that the polish literally wouldn't stick. The very next day half of the polish peeled off on its own. The lifting and peeling polish was getting stuck in my hair when I'd run my hands through my hair and just come right off. It's been a week and my nails are just getting worse each day. I am uploading photos to show the damage to my nails which was caused by soaking my nails in strong acetone for 20 minutes. I want them to know that I'm disappointed because I paid $25 plus tip for polish that wouldn't stay on my nails for even 1 day - due to my nail bed soaking up the acetone. Also; my entire nail is disintegrating on each finger due to the harsh acetone stripping my nails of keratin. See image please. I just want them to know, so it doesn't happen in the future to other customers. +1 Stars: for the beautiful paint job. -4 Stars: to damage & polish peeling off on first day. PLEASE DO NOT SOAK REAL NAILS IN THE ACETONE YOU USE FOR REMOVING POLISH FOR 20 MINUTES. My nails are very damaged.

My daughter's pedicure was honestly one of the worst she's had. She even spoke up and pointed out that there was polish left all over the skin around her toes. He tried to fix it, but there was still polish on her skin afterward. She also got a full Gel-X set last Tuesday. The design and details were spot on, so we were initially really happy with them. However, only a week later, one nail literally flew off while she was simply getting her folded laundry to put away. Then another one came off. We were charged $15 to repair a nail that came off on its own, and now, just one day after getting that repair, we noticed TWO more nails are already lifting from the bottom. For a Gel-X set to have multiple nails popping off and lifting after only a week is extremely disappointing, especially considering what you pay for a full set. Something clearly went wrong with the application or curing. We will definitely be going back to Blossom Nails. Heidi does an amazing job on my daughter's toes every time, and the gentleman who does acrylic nails there is amazing as well. Sorry, Skyline, but between the long wait times and the quality of service we experienced, it's just not worth it for us.
