The person who showed up was not with sound pest but was with Fikes. He spent all of 5 mins walking through my house and sprayed an aerosol can that costs I believe $29.99. He did not spray in under or around anything. This was also not the description of service that was provided to me through yelp. I called to complain immediately after. I have also called to talk to a Manager multiple times. They always state they will call me back and never do. It might have been a great company before it was sold but do not let the historical positive reviews fool you this is not under the same management as before. Go somewhere else for service.

This last time, they rescheduled SIX TIMES, all last minute, after the time they were supposed to have shown up, or without any warning at all other than a "reschedule text" later. Do NOT pay your invoice after that first visit until you actually KNOW the problem has been solved, because the "free" follow-up appointments have been canceled last minute way too many times. And this was with written acknowledgement that the job had not been completed. I will share their "understanding" and empathetic "we're standing you up again" template here. Considering they started repeating excuses, I'm surprised they didn't accidentally send me the template itself: "Good morning, [customer]. We sincerely apologize for the [short notice, confusion, inconvenience]. Unfortunately, the technician assigned to your service has informed us that he is [sick, injured, forgot ladder, custom]. We appreciate your understanding, as this situation is beyond our control. Would you be available to reschedule your appointment on [Mon-Fri] (##/##) between ##:## and ##:## [am/pm]. Please let us know if this works for you, or kindly share your availability. Thank you for your patience and understanding." Honoring their appointments is NOT outside of their control. It's baffling a service provider would write this -- I will help translate: "We make one attempt at a job and then invoice you, stand you up multiple times for our advertised and self-initiated follow-up appointments, and then straightfaced gaslight you over text. Thank you for your understanding. We count on you being flexible, infinitely tolerant, reasonable and professional when workmanship issues arise, so that we don't have to be."

For $500, I received: -An 20 min initial visit from a technician that involved setting the $5 black clamp traps that can be found on Amazon with peanut butter bait, all within a 2 ft radius of the entry hatch for an entire attic -A follow up as the technician didn't have enough traps initially -Another follow up where a 18"x12" wire mesh was installed that covered roughly half of the hole What I didn't receive was: -Traps set in any useful location, all 6 traps were set within arms reach of the hatch of the attic because it is not their policy to go into the attic....to eradicate rodents in the whole attic. -Any inspection of the attic for additional entry points, nests, rodent carcasses, damage, etc. because it is against their policy to go in the attic -Traps that would exclude the squirrels from the attic such as one way door traps or any other techniques other than the cheap clamp traps -Traps outside to get them while on the roof going to the entry location as this was not their policy either -A sufficient exclusion treatment of the 1 entry point, I had to redo it myself to fully close the hole -A technician equipped with a ladder to access the roof -Any follow up to my email detailing the issues before leaving a review All of this resulted in exactly 0 squirrels caught on my property. Will never choose them again. Kudos to the technician on his attitude and timeliness. But he was not experienced nor equipped with techniques, equipment, or policies to do the job.

It was toward the top of the tree and he got to down, sprayed the area of the tree and also the bees that fell down. He picked up the nest and took it away. The initial assigned person promised how their bait and strategy is advanced and even have a entire village built to test the poison bait, DO NOT TRUST any of that. I paid $100/month not including several hundreds of dollars in the initial service, all they did is come and replace bait station, when asked to do more to put it under control, the only thing they did is to put snap trap inside the station, nothing more after that. they killed probably 6(visible ones) or so rodents through half year of service, i did that myself within a week with snap trap and poison. Then winter came, the rodent activity got worse, got like 8 rat holes and a collapsed stone tiles. And i told them i saw a rat peaking outside the hole the other day, and the onsite dude told me it could be anything, and if i don't take a picture of it, they wouldn't trust what i said. i mean i subscribed them for the exact service and there are holes all over a corner of my fence, do i look like i subscribed and paid $100/month for fun? Most of all, this is no way to talk to a customer, it takes years to build a trust, and only 1 second to destroy. I was willing to give them 1-2 month to give them one more try, but the dude just told me i should cancel it which i did. and the dude ended up taking away all my bait stations, including ones i owned myself, i thought i paid hundred of dollars in the initial service to get those bait station and baits and $100 per month for those. This is a company that you pay money to them for a service, and they spend more time telling you what you need to do than do it them.
