I have a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus with only 9500 miles. It is absolutely like new. I took it to Green Dodge about a month ago for service. It was my 1st ever visit to this dealership, and my LAST. The car had an emission system recall, plus I wanted the dealership to flush the braking and cooling systems. When I arrived, I drove into the service area. My car has a manual transmission. When the guy who checked my car in tried to pull it forward, he hit the car in front of mine. I watched it happen. The guy didn't know how to operate a manual transmission. The plastic bumper on my R/T deflected about 2 inches, but fortunately there was no damage. Later in the day, I went to pick up the car. As I was backing out of its parking spot, I stepped on the brake pedal and it went to the floor. The mechanic might have flushed the braking system, but he didn't bleed it of air. This was a MAJOR safety issue. Since it was 5:00pm, I had to leave it at Green Dodge so they could fix the brakes the following day. I returned the next day to pick the car up, and found the brakes to be operating properly, so I brought the car home and parked it in my garage. A couple of days later, I checked the coolant reservoir under the hood and found it was EMPTY! The car has a big reservoir, holding almost a gallon of coolant. If I had not checked the coolant reservoir myself, the car could have overheated and ruined a $5000-$6000 engine. If that occurred, I'm sure the dealership would have tried to avoid any responsibility. That was the last straw - Green Dodge had (1) allowed my car to hit another car, (2) screwed up a brake flush, and (3) did not purge the air from the cooling system when they flushed it. So, I called the General Manager to complain of all that had gone wrong. He was very sympathetic, apologized, said he would speak to those responsible, and sent a mechanic to my house to fill the coolant reservoir. I decided to handle the situation that way rather than flood various internet sites with negative reviews. But then last week, I was changing the oil in the R/T and found that the Green Dodge mechanic who worked on my car had bent the pinch weld on one side under the door where he put one of the lift arms. There are jack pads on all 4 corners of the subframe under the car to use in jacking the car up to avoid messing up the pinch welds, but they were not used in the front of the car. I could not believe the incompetence. Granted, a bent pinch weld is a minor issue, but it just reflects a careless attitude by a mechanic. So, that is what precipitated my writing this review. I'll never return to Green Dodge for anything. I'll drive 30 miles to Dodge dealerships in Taylorville, Lincoln, or Jacksonville if I need to return to a Dodge dealership for anything, unless I am desperate. Had Green Dodge reached out to me with a more formal letter of apology, offering a free oil change or something, I might have a different opinion of the dealership, but they didn't. read more

Not sure why they only have one star. I am traveling for work from New York and the service department was excellent. Got me in quick and fixed my promaster in rapid fashion. I'm usually not a fan of bringing it to a dealer but these folks were great! In and out with a new cooling fan and light bulbs and I'm back on the road making money. They didn't start working on my vehicle until the morning in which I picked it up. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Service Department tried to rip me off for thousands. Not servicing vehicle, but charging for services not completed. Tried to replace parts that are not bad. Full review on Green's FB Page and many more. My vehicle in and out of service at Green for over a year to try and diagnose a front end drivetrain noise that comes and goes. They replaced a drivers side axle, stub shaft, and bearing a year ago. The noise was still there but they said that the tires were cupped causing road noise. Told me I was hearing tires not gear train. March 2019 a new gear train noise shows up from the rear. I explain that the previous noise with the front end that comes and goes is still present in the front. They found bad rear differential carrier and pinion bearings. Intermittent noise in front end still present after repair, but they tried to sell me a front axle fluid change??? Even though a year ago they had the front end apart for the axle replacement, and they changed the oil at that time. May 2019 I Called, talked to Pam who explained that she was going to step in and have a Dodge Engineer come to start a "Star Case" for the front end noise. I take the truck to them, have them mount, balance, and align a brand new set of Goodyear's before the engineer gets here so that he wouldn't be distracted by cupped tire noise. I also brought in my own Mobile 1 oil and filter just as I always do to have them perform service while it's in. Green asks that I come in to show the noise to the technician. I arrive Friday, May 24, 2018 to ride with the technician. A very dirty, grease covered, technician gets in my vehicle and proceeds to complain about "his service advisement team because they told him he did his job wrong and that the rear end of my truck that he rebuilt was going bad". He used some rather interesting language, but nothing out of the ordinary for a shop technician that is frustrated. I explained my concerns with the noise so he would understand that we were looking at the front end and not the rear. We heard the noise only twice while test driving, but as I have stated in the past it comes and goes. While driving we tried to actuate 4wd in order to see if it would amplify the noise but it didn't. We did note however that when turning on hardpack while 4wd was engaged that the truck would not bind and jump like my other truck. There were no service lights on and the truck did show that it was in 4wd, but it seemed odd that it wouldn't bind or jump. We took the truck back to Green and explained this situation with the service writer assigned to my vehicle. They explained that they would look into it, and let me know. They also suggested that this finding was most likely related to the intermittent noise. 2 hours later I get a call from Green explaining that my transfer case is bad and that I need a new one. I ask how that is possible, and also asked what within the transfer case is bad. The service writer says that he doesn't know what's bad, but that he knows it is bad, and that he will not know what's bad until he gets it out and apart. RED FLAG. Why would you be telling me that it is bad and that you need to replace it IF your going to take it out and apart. I tell Green don't touch my truck. That I will be there to pick it up. I get it to my shop. Inspect the transfer case and find nothing wrong with it. It's in perfect working order. The technician didn't understand the logic as to how the BW44-44 transfer case that is in my truck works. It has a clutch within that disengages the 4wd until it sees a slip from the wheel speed sensors or hard steering angle from driver input. This saves costly drivetrain components breakage and increases driver comfort while operating the vehicle in mixed poor road conditions but still affords all the benefits of 4wd when slippage is detected. Basically, it's automatic when needed. Also to note, they changed my oil sticker and reset my oil light on the dash panel. But the oil and filter is in the back seat of my truck still. Meaning either they didn't change my oil and said they did, or they changed it with who knows what oil and mixed conventional with the synthetic I always have ran since new. Also this is not the first time I've caught them doing this either. I tried to call and explain this on Saturday after my inspection. No manager or service writer wowould talk to me. A nice representative took my information and explained to me that she understood how serious this was and that the store manager would call me Tuesday morning. It's now 11:20am. No call. I tried to call a half hour ago, representative tried to transfer me, but no answer. Tried to transfer me to parts. No answer. Same parts department that tried to sell me a $1500 center console for a broken latch I got from another dodge dealer brand new in package for $30. read more

My husband called about a New 2019 Dodge Charger that was online & he was told it had been sold. I sent an inquiry about the same car & received a text asking if they could text me or call. I spoke to Cody at which time he said the car had NOT sold & was in the shop being looked over. This was because it had been stolen last July, was in a car chase that ended in Kansas City, MO & was stopped via strip pad. Cody also said he would speak to his manager & get back with me. 3 days go by with no word from Cody. My husband calls & gets the same answer. You'll have 1st dibs and I'll let you know as soon as I know something more. 3 wks later after several unanswered emails & calls my husband calls & finally talks to Cody who says oh yeah it's on the lot I text your wife. NOT! Also someone came in off the street and test drove it they may be buying it. I'll call them to see if they are wanting it. WHAT? I took my truck here to have it aligned. The technician started on it at 9 am. I watched him milling around talking to other technicians. At around 11:58 am the service manager brought me into the bay area, then the technician walked up and said, "I can not align this, I heated the tie rod sleeve with a torch until it glowed red but it refuses to turn and I will have to disassemble the passenger side, put it on a bench and try to wire wheel the threads, they are rusty, and this could be at least an hour or two shop labor, and I could run into major problems, which I would have to replace everything on the passenger side, I have not even tried the driver side yet". I was shocked! "I looked at the service writer and said, let's stop now, pull my truck out". I then ask what I owed, the service writer said, "well, $89". I said, "for what?". The service writer said, "for aligning your front end". I said, "but you did not align my front end". The technician threw both hands up and loudly said, "ok, fuck it, I just lost out on three hours of pay, I will pull it around front". Before I left the property I called Landmark Ford, they said, "bring it over, now". They pulled it straightway to the alignment rack, they showed me where the nut head was rounded off by Green. They had to use vice grips to turn it. Exactly forty (40) minutes later my truck was aligned according to factory specs. I ask the technician if it was a problem and he said, "not at all". Blenn, the finance guy, was kind and helped us out a lot with any issues we had, which wasn't much or even big. Bob, a sales rep got us a good deal that my Grandparents could afford. I am so appalled by the quality of service here that I was driven to write a review. One part of my 2005 Mitsubishi was recalled and needed to be replaced. I received a letter from the company that I could get the part replaced for free at my local dealership. Mid-July I called the dealership to schedule an appointment to bring it in. I was told recalls would be done on August 5. I scheduled my appointment for 8 am on that day. 8 am August 5 -I drop my car off at the dealership and a shuttle service drops me off at home. 2 pm August 5 - I receive a call that they do not have the parts to replace my defective part and need to order them. I will have to bring it back next week! Recall, I scheduled my appointment two weeks in advance. There should be no surprise that I would need the parts. I'm not sure why I had to bring the car in at 8 am if it wouldn't be looked at until 2 anyway. Not sure why they didn't have the parts ordered. Today I'm sitting at the dealer, one and half hours in to waiting for my part to be replaced. I don't trust it will get done in a timely fashion if I leave. I understand that the service I'm receiving is free and therefore not a top priority. However, I did schedule an appointment well in advance and there is NO excuse to not have the replacement part. Good thing I didn't buy my car here. Otherwise I would be extremely upset. I will never take my car here again (unless another part is recalled) and I will never pay this dealership. They are simply unprofessional and no one should have to put up with that. I would give this business 0 stars if I could. Find another place to buy your car! read more

I am not from the United states and I purchased my first car from Green Dodge. I later learned how much I got ripped off from them. They misinformed me about the warranty and over inflated the price. They took complete advantage of me and now I have to pay for it as my car broke down less than 1 year after purchasing from them. BUYER BEWARE. These people should not be trusted. read more
