From day one, they made what felt like a very overwhelming project so much more manageable. Kevin was patient with all my questions (and I had a lot), explained every step clearly, and always made sure I felt comfortable before moving forward. The crew was respectful, showed up when they said they would, and kept the site tidy, which I really appreciated since this was happening in our backyard. The ADU itself turned out better than I imagined--it feels like a real home, not an afterthought. The finishes are beautiful, the layout makes great use of the space, and it blends in perfectly with the main house. Friends and neighbors who've seen it have all commented on how well it was done. What stood out most to me was how much Kevin and his team cared about the details. They never made me feel like I was being rushed through decisions, and it felt like they took as much pride in the project as I did. If you're considering an ADU (or any home project), I honestly can't recommend Kevin and Continental Remodeling Inc. enough.

After several disappointing attempts to get estimates, we called David and he promptly arranged a meeting. After listening to the requirements, timing constraints and reviewing the conditions with the house, he carefully talked us through his assessment. The house needed a significant amount of work : painting, replacing windows & doors, new HVAC and main electrical panel, garage door, water heater and a plumbing repipe . He was always very professional and considerate of the challenges we faced and provided optional solutions when appropriate. His patience when explaining the necessary work was critical to our success. David answered our questions and thoughtfully offered a plan to accomplish everything in manageable stages. We had many meetings to discuss the work and he and Kyle were always prompt and generous with their time and input. The work stayed on schedule, the crews were skilled and considerate of the home owner. We would definitely use David for future projects.

I had the best experience with Prosirv radon mitigation!! Radon is something I never thought I…read morewould be so stressed about. But I moved to Woodland Hills with a small child only to learn my newly purchased home had highly toxic levels of radon which I found out from my real estate report. I did not feel safe or comfortable living like this even though I couldn't smell it or feel it. I did A TON of research and found out it's one of the leading causes of LUNG CANCER which made a lot of sense because I had heard from people who were otherwise healthy but living in the hills that their loved ones died from lung cancer. I talked to some of my neighbors and my next door neighbor told me they had radon too and recommended Daniel from Prosirv to do testing and mitigation. PROSIRV Radon and Daniel answered right away. He was familiar with the area and gave us a quote right away and it was very reasonable. He informed us about the process to complete the test and mitigation. We agreed on a date and time and two days later he was in my home setting up the testing devices in specific areas and once the test was complete we received a very detailed, comprehensive report of the test results.  Our levels came in at an average of 7.3 which needed mitigation. Because of the health risks, especially with a young child, we wanted to get this done immediately.   Daniel really helped explain the process and kept me calm. As an anxious mom, I felt like I could really trust him. He provided us with a few mitigation options. What I appreciated the most was his level of detail and communication to ensure we understood everything, especially because we had no idea how it would look or function and never seen a system installed before. He gave us options and said that it was a matter of preference and price. We went with the interior installation based on the lower price and what Daniel said would be easier to maintain and less wear and tear from outside elements. Prosirv Radon and Daniel specifically really put us at ease by guaranteeing us low radon levels with the system. You don't know till you know but he kept his word.   Daniel is one of the only specialists in Los Angeles who is certified in both radon measurement and mitigation with a ton of experience which we verified on both the NRPP and California list of radon pros - and also a licensed contractor for construction. He knew and informed us of all EPA standards that need to be met. Having an honest and caring contractor seems like an oxymoron but he really is!!!   A week after testing, Daniel and his team arrived on the day of mitigation and began setting up the testing devices to monitor the levels during the installation of what he called an "active soil depressurization system" to address the original area of the home on one "concrete slab" and the addition in the back on a different slab (we didn't even know there was an addition! Daniel told us after reviewing the building records). I was worried because they had to drill holes and add pipes but they did such a clean beautiful job. From what they explained to us, the pipes were installed in closets in different sections of the home and ran from beneath the slab into the attic where they all connected to a radon fan before exiting through the roof. The pipes were clean and not ugly pipes I thought we'd have to deal with now that we were doing this. They cleared the work area and put up a plastic barrier to contain any dust or dirt and ensure our home remained clean. The fans are so quiet you can't hear them. They were done in half a day and the radon levels had literally dropped to below the EPA action level which he guaranteed! I was so relieved and happy.   He walked us through the completed mitigation system and showed us where we can power it off and on and also check to make sure it is operating through a "manometer on one of the pipes" (see picture). We tested a few days later and levels had dropped to below 1!!!! I finally felt safe in my home again and could not believe that the change would happen so dramatically. He suggested we retest if we do any major construction on the home or replace HVAC systems as they can have an impact of the radon levels or we buy a consumer radon device to monitor levels or retest.   Honestly I could not be happier with Daniel at PROSIRV and his professional caring team. He's really a trustworthy good person with high work ethic and created peace of mind for my family and I. I was literally about to move out of my house before I found Daniel!!!   And I'm fully aware that this is a lengthy review! If I were to do it again, id appreciate hearing others experience too. I'm literally preaching to my friends nonstop to get their levels checked. I commend him on his work and knowledge of radon and I want inform others that if you're concerned about radon, there is no one else to call other than DANIEL and Prosirv Radon! Thank you guys so so much!!! Forever grateful.

We've invested a lot into our home, so making sure the issue was addressed properly was a top priority from the moment we learned radon was present and how damaging it can be to our health.   Daniel, the owner of Prosirv, was extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and professional. Not to mention one of the only in the state of California who's certified in both radon measurement and mitigation. He took the time to explain our radon test results, walked us through the custom radon mitigation system he recommended for our home, and patiently answered all our questions throughout the process.   Best of all, our indoor radon levels dropped from over 11 pCi/L to below 1 pCi/L after the mitigation system was installed and up and running! These results were confirmed by both our own monitoring devices and the professional test Daniel performed following the installation, giving us so much peace of mind.   We're extremely happy with the results and the entire experience. We've already recommended Prosirv to a friend who recently learned about radon during a real estate transaction.

In addition, they made excellent recommendations for where to purchase various items like the BBQ, heaters, and fireplace. We've referred him to friends and family, and we would certainly hire Precise again for future projects. Dino is very professional and is on top of the project details. We had worked with another contractor years earlier on a different home project, so I know what it's like to work with a GC who cuts corners and that was not our experience with Dino at all. If his crew ever made a mistake, Dino took responsibility and made the correction. Precise's office was detail-oriented as well, providing us with milestone invoices (and Change Order info) for us to approve before payment. My advice is to have as detailed a plan as possible before you start. We also had hired a designer who helped us decide all the finishes, etc., and Dino worked well with her. Dino also has a good eye for design, and was able to weigh in and provide another opinion when necessary. He even came up with several design elements which we really appreciated. On a personal level, we also enjoyed our interactions with Dino. He's a funny, good guy, who takes pride in his work. That's something many people might not think about, but if you're going to spend months and months (and months) with a GC, it'd really suck if you didn't like being around that person. And when we needed Precise to address an issue or two after we moved in, Dino didn't push back and got his guys on-site to fix the problem. Look, things are almost certainly going to go wrong when you do a home build or large renovation. Budgets may get increased, supplies may get delayed, etc. It can be stressful! So you want someone who can help solve problems and be a partner in the project. We felt Dino was the right partner for our project.
