After several disappointing attempts to get estimates, we called David and he promptly arranged a meeting. After listening to the requirements, timing constraints and reviewing the conditions with the house, he carefully talked us through his assessment. The house needed a significant amount of work : painting, replacing windows & doors, new HVAC and main electrical panel, garage door, water heater and a plumbing repipe . He was always very professional and considerate of the challenges we faced and provided optional solutions when appropriate. His patience when explaining the necessary work was critical to our success. David answered our questions and thoughtfully offered a plan to accomplish everything in manageable stages. We had many meetings to discuss the work and he and Kyle were always prompt and generous with their time and input. Working with David was a pleasure. He was professional, kind and patient with us. He never over-promised, and kept to a time-line that he presented at the very beginning of the process. We had a leak behind our refrigerator that required us to replace all cabinets, flooring, backsplash and countertops. When we found out that we would have to do a whole overhaul of our kitchen, we asked eight different friends/neighbors and only one had a contractor that they loved and that was David. We love everything about our kitchen now. The design is gorgeous, the tile work is stunning, and he was able to rewire our electrical panels that were a crazy mess from 1947. We hired Home Pro Green Remodeling to completely gut and re-build our master bathroom. I have never remodeled or designed anything before and I thought it would be overwhelming and potentially disastrous. (I've heard so many horror stories from other people's contractor experiences.) David and his team were incredible! Lovely and clear and communicative - never didn't answer the phone or a text virtually immediately. Every step of the way was clear and on-track and safe and beautiful. I honestly have never seen a more gorgeous and well-planned bathroom and I cannot believe it is ours! We used Home Pro Green remodeling to do many jobs while remodeling our house in San Fernando Valley. David was in charge. One of the jobs was a complete bathroom renovation. After finished, the first thing we noticed was the wall in our bedroom-after re-doing the wall on the other side- was lumpy and after painting, there were runs down the wall. Also, the outlet on said wall doesn't work anymore. The power in the bathroom works, then it doesn't. So it randomly shuts off. The light fixture on ceiling looks like crap. Also, they messed up the water so if you want hot water, you have to turn it to cold, cold water, you gotta turn it to hot. There are MANY problems with the remodel but David has never returned our calls. I'll take down this review if he fixes his mistakes. read more

After months of looking around for my dream home, I was able to find the perfect fit for me and my family, however, there was one small problem. The kitchen was definitely not my dream kitchen as it was outdated, and did not go well with the asthetic of the rest of the house. I was recommended this remodeling company and I decided to give it a try due to its high recommendations from my friend. I worked with David and he worked very hard to recreate the vision I had inside my head. I was assisted with obtaining permits and making sure everything was by the books. I was fortunate enough not to be restrained by a budget, but the price itself was less than I had expected compared to the prices of other remodeling companies. One must understand that remodeling a kitchen is not the cheapest thing in the world, but I could not dare to place a price on my dream kitchen! Overall to me, I would consider it to be an investment for someday to passing it over to my children. Communication: There was plenty of communication with David from deciding the color of the backsplash to the different types of cabinets I could've selected. I can really tell throughout the whole process that he truly cares for people to have their dream home space. David always had the time to get back to me and speak any concerns I had and how things were going with the project. Professionalism: The crew was friendly and were always on time, they were very respectful and professional. For a while, I did some research all over the internet to find a company that would deem worthy of creating my dream bathroom and kitchen. For months I searched and didn't find anything I would be satisfied with, later I would stumble on a talking with a friend and during the conversation of me explaining my situation he told me about Home Pro Remodeling and I should reach out to them. So with my friend showing me the work they did I was impressed so I gave them and set up a meeting so I could get things rolling! We had two bathrooms remodeled by Home Pro. We were only going to do one, but were talked into doing both by David, the owner, much to our regret. Everything started out good but just went straight downhill from there. My husband and I take great pride in our home, Home Pro did not. We have dealt with many contractors in the past and I can say Home Pro was the worst. They had no respect for our home -i.e. they parked leaking vehicles in our driveway and left oil all over. They left some sort of white residue all over our patio pavers, walkway and driveway. They used our flower pots for trash receptacles. They poured a great deal of their used grout into our planter.They scratched and left white residue all over our hardwood doors, after we asked them to cover them. They left paint and white residue on the carpet.They were going to leave a rotted 2x4 in the bathroom unill we caught it.They left grout and other residue on the shower walls, doors and floors which took us days to clean. They left tar on our iron front doors. They left mounds of trash all over the place. They kept saying they were going to clean it up, and they did somewhat, but no where near the way it was before they started. David assured us the finish on the walls and ceiling would be matched 90%. It was so bad we didn't trust them to redo and had to pay another contractor to do it right, including patching the ceiling where they cut the hole too big for the fan. We told him from day one we wanted the ledge on the bathroom window removed. After asking him and his workers at least seven times, the ledge is still there. When they installed the niche they used screws that were too long and drilled about 25 holes into the adjoining room, which thankfully my husband noticed because they never would have. They installed baseboard behind a vanity that has legs.They took the baseboard up to the leg, cut the baseboard straight down and then just took up on the other side of the leg. We asked them to fix that and they did one but not the other. The workers definitely did not have the skills to perform a professional job. We had some tile left over from another project we wanted to reuse. David told us it was substandard quality. We ordered tile from his supplier and many of the tiles were broken. Instead of returning the defective tiles for a credit, we paid for new tiles and we never received credit for the broken ones. We quired him many times and he blamed us. He was the one that measured. I asked him how many square ft. of tile was used in the bathroom and he said 180 square ft. but yet we bought 165 square feet and still had many extra tiles left over. That just doesn't make sense. We just sealed the tiles in one of the bathrooms today and saw they didn't even grout all the seams under the shower seat! My husband and I have had many sleepless nights and much aggravation over this. I definitely would NOT recommend this company. read more

just had my entire home painted inside and out by this company, as well as a full kitchen remodel and I am very pleased with the results. The paint is flawless and smooth, and I am yet to find any errors which is great because I am very picky when it comes to stuff like that. They have great quality paint and it compliments my home very well. The kitchen looks very modern and up to date which was a big change that we needed. We are looking into getting the bathrooms and bedrooms remodeled and we will definitely be having this company do that for us. After 2 years of contemplating we finally decided to go ahead and remodel our master bathroom. Never having done a project like this before we spent a lot of time researching contractors and finally found HomePro and David on HomeAdvisor. We immediately liked him. He spent the time we needed going over what needed to be done and were comfortable enough to hire him the same day. We found David to be a seasoned professional with a lot of experience. His Project Manager, Jack, was spot-on and on top of the project every step of the way, as was David. The crews were polite, highly capable and very clean. The work progressed just as we were told and finished very close to the agreed upon time. That in itself was amazing since there were city permits involved. David handled everything and made sure everyone, including us, stayed on track. I wasn't able to spend much time at home during the project, but David called me with regular updates patiently answering my questions sometimes over and over again. While I didn't agree with him all the time, in the end I'm glad I paid attention to his suggestions. Our bathroom turned out amazing and looks absolutely beautiful, better than we expected. We will be working with HomePro again this coming year. We feel confident that David will continue to do a great job for us. We trust his judgment, appreciate his hard work and most of all his seemingly endless patience. I can recommend David and HomePro without hesitation.
